Had a really nice stay here. Great location for visiting the new forrest and surrounding area. Beautiful property with lots of character and the room was very nice and comfortable. Spa area was a little tired, but great to have the facilities to unwind after a walk in the forrest.

Lovely place but the spa wasn’t good. Too small and you are misled on the facilities. The gym, changing rooms and pool were tiny and tired. Nowhere to relax. However the hotel was lovely. Needs another bar/lounge. The grounds and the area were beautiful! Staff excellent and beautifully trained. A few stood out…Darren and Tom in the bar, Tom Ly and Maria in the reception and Jerry at breakfast were memorable for their excellent service/manner.

Beautiful hotel in amazing settings. Our first stay here and we visit the New Forest every year. We won’t be staying anywhere else in the future. Lovely atmosphere, excellent food and wine, lovely gardens and the service was outstanding. Plus ev charger so we left with a full charge for the next leg of our journey!

Beautiful hotel and grounds around it. We upgraded to the superior room, a very spacious room and the beautiful forest view. Armada restaurant food and staff were 5*. Robert & Alex especially made us very welcome. Thank you Spa facilities were nice, pool smaller than we expected however it wasn't busy.

Fantastic setting, parking was easy and the hotel itself was beautiful. Warm welcome from the staff at check-in. The heated outdoor pool was great. However at times the casual restaurant/bar and breakfast felt slightly understaffed.

We have stayed at Rhinefield many times over the years it is a great hotel. Sadly there is recent evidence of cost cutting with a number of facilities including the indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room all closed and without notifying guests who have already booked

Lovely hotel in the middle of beautiful forest. Dog friendly. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Food is excellent. Rooms clean, comfortable and well equipped. Good facilities of pool inside and spa, and beautician. If you love walking and cycling this is for you.

Unfortunately the service was awful we had to wait 20 minutes for a drink at the bar !!! Was not enough staff to help when busy which was very poor ! Cobwebs on the ceiling in room evening meal was horrible I ended up coming back to room with upset stomach! So not great ! But was a shame because the hotel its self was lovely just not good for the first time puts you off !!! Will not be coming back again

Staff and attention to detail was amazing Hotel and facilities were immaculate. Bed turning down service was a bonus and pleasant surprise. Lovely setting in the new forest with good walks on the doorstep. Would definitely stay here again

Food and drinks, to a high standard, served by friendly but professional staff both in the Armada and Conservatory restaurants. Very nice outdoor heated swimming pool with sun loungers available. Stayed for 4 nights. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for one night in an executive room as a birthday treat. All staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly. Nice pool, gym and sauna experience and the food was delicious in the bar. Didn't eat in the restaurant as not much choice for vegans. The room had lots of complimentary drinks and snacks which was a lovely surprise. We shall definitely go back.

Staff are amazing , so attentive , polite and nothing is too much trouble. Mattress little hard for my back but you can please everyone so that’s ok! Coffee/tea tray topped up twice a day & bottled water provided & love that the rooms are turned in before bed.

This hotel is absolutely lovely. Amazing building and grounds, set in the heart of the New Forest. Food and service is excellent. It was my daughters 6th birthday and the house keeping team left her a teddy and balloon in our room for when we arrived and she was so happy. Children are very welcome at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and beds extremely comfy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Took our two boys and they loved the grounds. The indoor pool was a bit cold, only thing that let the day down, ow, the rooms are really warm even with the a/c you can only turn to 16 degrees but I don’t think that’s actually a true reflection of the temperature. It was only April and the kids slept without covers. I dread to know that those rooms feel like in the summer months.

Had we have known there was a wedding we probably would have avoided the hotel, lots of guests and quite noisy during the day with the guests dominating most of the hotel areas and gardens. After listening to somebody snoring in the room for most of the night through what seemed to be a paper thin ceiling which was unfortunate coupled with a good breakfast albeit served relatively cold was disappointing. Was this room at almost £300 pounds for one night worth the value? absolutely no way.

It was a 5 Star experience from start to finish. The staff were superb, made us feel extremely welcome and went over and above in all respects. We are looking forward to returning and will certainly make the Rhinefield one of our favourites to visit. We would like say, "Thank You" to the waiter who served our breakfast for his delightful manner, it certainly contributed to our wonderful stay.
It was a 5 Star experience from start to finish. The staff were superb, made us feel extremely welcome and went over and above in all respects. We are looking forward to returning and will certainly make the Rhinefield one of our favourites to visit. A real treat for us as we don't normally go for places like this. Wonderful building and an excellent 2 night stop-over on a week long tour. Everything you might expect from such a hotel and the thing we will remember most were the staff. It is clear that the training regime is first class and this showed throughout.

I paid £373 for a Superior room. It was over-priced. At that price I expected something special. It was not. While the decor was in good condition it’s appearance was dated. To get to the room you had to ascend steps under a low beam, hardly the impression you’d expect. We waited a long time for our drinks to be served in the bar, which was not busy. We waited 40 minutes to be served our starters in the conservatory restaurant. My salt and pepper squid was tasteless. We waisted almost as long for the main course. Only one waitress had to serve all the diners.

Fantastic setting, parking was easy and the hotel itself was beautiful. Warm welcome from the staff at check-in. The heated outdoor pool was great. However at times the casual restaurant/bar and breakfast felt slightly understaffed.

The hotel was amazing and in a great location. The food was very good quality by both the dinner and breakfast had top returened due to food being cold. It felt like there was not enough staff for the number of guests, however the staff were very polite and helpful.

Wonderful stay in a magnificent historic building with friendly staff, fantastic views and great food. Our room had a view of the forest where we saw deer & rabbits wandering by. We had great food, both casual and formal dining. The location is truly buried in the forest, peaceful and great for walking. A true sanctuary get away.

This hotel is absolutely lovely. Amazing building and grounds, set in the heart of the New Forest. Food and service is excellent. It was my daughters 6th birthday and the house keeping team left her a teddy and balloon in our room for when we arrived and she was so happy. Children are very welcome at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and beds extremely comfy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Unfortunately the service was awful we had to wait 20 minutes for a drink at the bar !!! Was not enough staff to help when busy which was very poor ! Cobwebs on the ceiling in room evening meal was horrible I ended up coming back to room with upset stomach! So not great ! But was a shame because the hotel its self was lovely just not good for the first time puts you off !!! Will not be coming back again

I paid £373 for a Superior room. It was over-priced. At that price I expected something special. It was not. While the decor was in good condition it’s appearance was dated. To get to the room you had to ascend steps under a low beam, hardly the impression you’d expect. We waited a long time for our drinks to be served in the bar, which was not busy. We waited 40 minutes to be served our starters in the conservatory restaurant. My salt and pepper squid was tasteless. We waisted almost as long for the main course. Only one waitress had to serve all the diners.

Had we have known there was a wedding we probably would have avoided the hotel, lots of guests and quite noisy during the day with the guests dominating most of the hotel areas and gardens. After listening to somebody snoring in the room for most of the night through what seemed to be a paper thin ceiling which was unfortunate coupled with a good breakfast albeit served relatively cold was disappointing. Was this room at almost £300 pounds for one night worth the value? absolutely no way.

Staff were attentive without being intrusive. The bed was extremely comfortable. The spa was very nice and the therapist was very competent. The standard of breakfast was very high, but the highlight was the evening meal which was worthy of a Michelin star.

An amazing experience and will definitely be returning. Every single employee treated me and my partner well and they went abohe and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. The food was fantastic and the best steak i have ever eaten. Big shoit out to Paul who worked there on making us feel at home.

Rhinefield House is in the most beautiful setting. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the gorgeous surroundings and the outdoor pool is a wonderful bonus in warm weather. Right on the doorstep is the New Forest and is within easy travelling distance of the coast, with Lymington being a particularly lovely spot. We had excellent food with two restaurants to choose from. We had a perfect weekend.

What's not to love? It's peaceful, it's quiet, it's beautiful, and it's tucked away in the middle of the New Forest away from all main roads and disturbances. We've been many times before, usually just to spend a few hours chilling in the bar or in the garden, and we'll continue to go back time and time again.
