The staff here are great and for the price you pay it’s definitely worth it. There’s a million cameras so even though there are shady characters on 99 they rarely stop by this place because they’re strict. I had a pleasant experience.

Very standard bare bones operation and totally adequate for a weekend stay near Seattle which otherwise was very expensive and basically sold out. On-site parking was a huge plus in the Seattle area.

This place is agem. Not expensive nor extravagant. The rooms are nicely laid out and clean. Management is on property, so you know attention to detail is top notch. AC/heat, refrigerator and microwave in room, Parking right outside your door.

My room was one of those really cute motel rooms like you'd remember from 1950/60's road trips on Hwy 99 from Seattle to Vancouver BC. It was clean, comfortable, and they are in the process of updating all the rooms. AND... no skanky people allowed on site, so far safer and quieter than a couple other places not far away.

The staff were great. The neighborhood its in is horrible. The room was bare bones and kinda clean. There was sand on the floor and some trash under the bed. The bathroom was spotless and the linens were clean.

I just spent two nights at K&E and had a great stay. The owners are updating the rooms one by one (no construction noise at all), everything in my room was new and there literally wasn't a speck of dust on anything, it was spotless. Staying at any budget friendly motel is a gamble, you never know what you're going to get but this place is a true gem and I would much rather give my money to a local couple than a corporation. Nice people, nice motel, highly recommend!

No complaints. Basic, spacious room, nice-size tv, fridge and microwave, clean and quiet. Room was as pictured. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location as just two turns off the I-5, and not far from Mountlake Terrace park and ride. I just needed a place to sleep and didn't spend much time there, so it worked for me. I will be back. Thank you. RECOMMENDATION: anti-slip mat for the bathtub, as it was very slippery.

I travel to the Seattle area frequently on business. K&E motel is an old property but very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Rooms are small but adaquate. Staff is wonderful. This is my first choice for a room for a night or two.

Very accommodating service personnel! Wish the room had better pillows and bedding, but the bed itself was comfortable. No decor at all for some reason, recent remodel? It was odd, no pictures on the walls or any knickknacks whatsoever. Also of note, this location was right next to a major road that was loud at times, but not a bad experience at all, price considering.

I stay here often on work trips. I was there November 25 - 28, two days for work and also to visit my family on Thanksgiving day. When I checked in I was told by Sara that a full, homecooked thanksgiving dinner would be available in the office at 5 PM for all guests. It was delicious! Not many motels would do such a thing.

We came back early from the mountains and wanted a quick simple stay not too far from Seattle. This came up and it was a great deal for a night. The shower, toilet and sink were all clean and pleasant to use. Coming from someone who can be pretty germophobic. The bed was comfortable too. There was a mini fridge and microwave in our room. Safeway and TJ max are pretty close. The area did seem like it could get sketchy towards the late night but we didn’t necessarily have any issues. The owners were helpful in making sure we knew that their office closed at 9pm ( for checking in). Check in was smooth when considering that!

Great little motel in a convenient location. It felt pretty safe which some areas of 99 don't. They mentioned when I was checking in to please keep the noise down, and sure enough it was actually pretty quiet, which was great! The room was clean and adequate. My only complaint is that there were only two very thin pillows on the bed; if you're able to bring your own pillows, I definitely recommend that! Keep in mind this is a 5* review for the price and grade of hotel this is. Don't expect anything fancy.

It was nice and quiet. The staff were respectful and very friendly. I will be coming back and staying here for future trips down to seattle. It is out of the way of the city, but the transit bus to the light rail is a block away and catching a cab or uber is only 20-25 mins into Downtown.

Great location a short detour off I-5. Perfect stop after a game before heading home to Vancouver BC. Very clean and comfy. Rooms have been updated very recently. Will be staying here again!

Very clean. Friendly staff. Quiet. Definitely “no frills” as there was no access to coffee or way to make it on property before the office opens at 9. The door sensor was triggering itself incessantly in the afternoon when the sun blazed in, but would probably stay again as it’s a good value for the area. Just be prepared for addressing your caffeine needs early AM.

I would give this property 5 stars but there was no coffee maker in the room and the office with the coffee didn't open until 9. Otherwise this place was great and especially for the price. The staff was very friendly and the room was VERY clean! The beds were nothing special but again, the price point was great!

Didn't know it was right off of Hwy 99, so traffic was a bit noisy. We were given a room toward the back, so it was quiet. AC was fairly quiet. Would suggest installing safety grab bars in shower, and a rubber nonskid mat for the tub. Hope you can provide light breakfast for guests, but we had a good breakfast at the Family Pancake House. Your property was easily accessible back to the freeway (I-5). I understand this is still a work in progress, so keep up the good work.

Great little motel with amazing hosts and clean fresh rooms!! They were so friendly and helpful! The price point is spot on for what you get! SUPER EASY ACCESS TO THE TRAIN FOR EVENTS!! It's a 5 min drive to the station and there is like 1600 parking spots for free, the train ride is $3 per person! And you get free train ticket with some events tickets how can you go wrong!! The only reason I have 4 stars is the bed and pillows weren't great and the shower is a bit low of you're a tall person (I'm not so the shower was awesome hot and good pressure!) the linens (towels and sheets) were great!! Coffee in the office was good!! The staff took this experience over the top, they make this little hotel GREAT!! Can't wait until our next trip!!
