We had such a wonderful anniversary weekend at the silo. It was beautiful and well maintained, both inside and out. Very well stocked kitchen, and plenty of towels. It was so peaceful sitting on the porch swing with a cup of coffee and driving to the nearby wineries was great. We even stopped by the owner’s new market up the street and enjoyed some ice cream and local honey. I’ve sent this listing to so many friends! Would love to come back. Thank you!

My wife and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary weekend at the Silo Farm Haus. It is gorgeous! The owners have thought of everything. There is nothing you will need when you visit other than your own food and clothing. Not only is the house unique, but it is also very clean and comfortable. The property is quiet. All we heard in the evening were crickets and the occasional cow. It was great to get away from the grind and just relax on their porch swing or the hammock in the backyard. I definitely recommend this for any small family or couple needing some time away. It's not far from Ste. Genevieve or even Farmington if you want something to do off-property, but far enough that you don't hear the traffic. My wife and I enjoyed a game of corn hole (provided by the owners) and they even gave us a very thoughtful anniversary card and gift - completely unexpected. Great place! We certainly will be back again some day!

If you love novelty stays this ones for you. Turning this grain bin into cabin was done to perfection. So tastefully farm style decorated. Outdoor area was so lovely and relaxing. Can't over state how well this rental was upkept. Area towns were perfect for sightseeing. With a few wineries to visit.

This was the most amazing, beautiful place! I am so happy I was able to find this location. My daughter and I take a weekend every September to get away and spend time together. This location has been our FAVORITE so far! If you enjoy peace and quiet along with beauty, this is the place to be! With it being in between Farmington and Ste. Genievieve, we got to enjoy both beautiful cities and everything in between!!!!!

Our daughter's wedding was at Charleville winery, and this was the perfect hub for us! The porch is awesome, with the porch swing to enjoy the beautiful outdoors - the kitchen has everything you need, down to the oversized coffee cups :) the bed is super comfortable and the Silo ceiling architecture is just amazing! We can't wait to visit again! The convenience of Gegg's Farm Market right up the road is an added plus for delicious food and hospitality - thanks so much so everything!

Lovely, unique home out in the peaceful country. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was what we needed to relax and unwind and enjoy each other’s company. Close to both Farmington and St Genevieve (a hidden quaint gem). Looks just as pictured and is well thought out for space utilization. It felt bigger than it is. And that ceiling: wow! Plus the cows in the evening were having a conversation of their own. Don’t hesitate to stay here, you’ll love it!

This is a really nice place! So quiet out in the country and peaceful! Absolutely spotless clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we wanted for an overnight getaway. The conversion from grain storage silo to rental cottage was extremely well done, thoughtfully laid-out, and I can only imagine the time spent on the amazing carpentry work to achieve that beautiful ceiling. Husband and I really enjoyed out getaway and look forward to booking again sometime soon!

We are fans of the local restaurants and bars and stayed here for the night. We talked about coming back to stay longer to enjoy the property for what it is instead of just utilizing it for a place to sleep. It’s so cute and clean. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I wanted to get away for a couple of days and this was the perfect place. The Silo Haus was so clean and cozy and the surroundings are so peaceful. The location is great with wineries, Hawn State Park and Ste. Genevieve all nearby. We hope to visit again soon.

We loved the silo. The location was serene and absolutely lovely in summer - the smell of fresh hay, the stillness, the quiet. We fully enjoyed everything. The silo was clean, very accommodating, quality, and tasteful. We had a really difficult time finding the property, which I blame on Google maps. We were quite lost, thankfully had reception, finally tried another map service and our route was corrected. I couldn’t get ahold of the owner, but thankfully we found the place after driving an unhealthy number of miles on a forlorn gravel lane. Still a wonderful trip. I’m ready to go back.

The porch is awesome, with the porch swing to enjoy the beautiful outdoors - the kitchen has everything you need, down to the oversized coffee cups :) the bed is super comfortable and the Silo ceiling architecture is just amazing! We can't wait to visit again! The convenience of Gegg's Farm Market right up the road is an added plus for delicious food and hospitality - thanks so much so everything!

We are fans of the local restaurants and bars and stayed here for the night. We talked about coming back to stay longer to enjoy the property for what it is instead of just utilizing it for a place to sleep. It’s so cute and clean. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful, unique place. Very clean. They have a lot of area imformation there to utilize, which is very helpful. Hosts were so nice, personal, and easy to get ahold of. Would most definitely stay here again and again.

We loved the silo. The location was serene and absolutely lovely in summer - the smell of fresh hay, the stillness, the quiet. We fully enjoyed everything. The silo was clean, very accommodating, quality, and tasteful. We had a really difficult time finding the property, which I blame on Google maps. We were quite lost, thankfully had reception, finally tried another map service and our route was corrected. I couldn’t get ahold of the owner, but thankfully we found the place after driving an unhealthy number of miles on a forlorn gravel lane. Still a wonderful trip. I’m ready to go back.

The Silo Farm Haus was a fun and unique experience. Tucked away in the back of the farm made for a wonderful night's stay. Drove into Farmington for dinner and stumbled upon some live music downtown that was very enjoyable. So much to do around the area. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

If you love novelty stays this ones for you. Turning this grain bin into cabin was done to perfection. So tastefully farm style decorated. Outdoor area was so lovely and relaxing. Can't over state how well this rental was upkept. Area towns were perfect for sightseeing. With a few wineries to visit.

This was the most amazing, beautiful place! I am so happy I was able to find this location. My daughter and I take a weekend every September to get away and spend time together. This location has been our FAVORITE so far! If you enjoy peace and quiet along with beauty, this is the place to be! With it being in between Farmington and Ste. Genievieve, we got to enjoy both beautiful cities and everything in between!!!!!

The Silo Haus was a quaint, unique property in the middle of Missouri’s Wine Country. The property was VERY clean and attention to detail was obvious from the moment you pull into the gravel drive. The sunsets over the pasture were amazing to see. Highly recommend

My wife and I wanted to get away for a couple of days and this was the perfect place. The Silo Haus was so clean and cozy and the surroundings are so peaceful. The location is great with wineries, Hawn State Park and Ste. Genevieve all nearby. We hope to visit again soon.

We truly enjoyed our weekend stay at this little hideaway. It was about 15 min drive to Farmington and Ste Gen. Several wineries close by. The craftsmanship of the building is amazing. The only thing that would have made it better would be a hot tub.
