We enjoyed our stay in a fairly large room at this hotel (two nights in late September). By that time, rates were quite reasonable, though the weather was starting to get cooler. It's quite well-located, about a 10-minute walk from downtown and Gyro Beach, and a very short drive to most vineyards. Staff were extremely responsive and there was underground parking, and it was nice to have a (limited) gym and both pool and private beach available on the property.

They ran out of towels for a good chunk of the day. It was BC long weekend but they also had a beach so they should at least have towels. The beach was very nice and there were no rocks or seaweed in the swimming area.

Very friendly staff especially Ruth (the lady at reception who did the check-in was vey helpful); room ventilation was good; EV charging was convenient, kitchen was well equipped, very nice view from the balcony, hotel location is great (close to beach & beach park, supermarkets and downtown area). Limited parking space underneath, swimming pool paint is ripped off at several places (needs to be redone); no bating towels at the pool in the morning, the pre-showers need to be put outside (out of toilets); shabby carpet in the corridors; elevator floors need to be redone, the parking stalls at the main level need to be wider. Hotel entrance (for vehicles) needs to be wider. The room carpet needs to be redone, no baggage stands, no dresser table in front of the mirror, no waste bins in room, kitchen towel could be added.

We had a great stay! Comfortable accommodations and helpful friendly staff. Loved that there was underground parking to keep our vehicle out of the heat! Only area for improvement would be the condition of the lounge chairs on the beach. They needed a wash or spray down. Lots of dust and bird droppings. But we will definitely stay again when we are in Osoyoos.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Osoyoos with our toddlers and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Our first room had dirty sheets, and although we were moved to a different room, it still didn’t feel very clean. The ceilings and corners had spider webs and dust, which left a poor impression. Breakfast was included with our stay, but the service at the Sol restaurant was underwhelming. Our server seemed lost and uninterested, which made the meal less enjoyable. Traveling with little ones, a clean and welcoming environment is especially important, and unfortunately this hotel did not meet those expectations. I don’t think we would choose to stay here again.

This hotel was terrible. Our door was open when we got to our room, the toilet seat didn’t match or fit the size of the toilet and was put on crooked. The shower curtain was also put on crooked and we were only given two towels even though we had 4 people staying. The cleaning staff left garbage out and the smell went down the halls, they also left the garbage in the underground parking lot which made the smell in the parking lot terrible. The cleaning staff was pretty lazy at this hotel, I will never stay here again. Also, the breakfast was not worth the price, instead of using a warming candle or an electric warmer, the food was floating in a bath of “hot” water, the food was cold at the breakfast buffet. Overall, this hotel was pretty disgusting and I’m quite disappointed, we didn’t even bother using the breakfast voucher for our second day, and just went to Tim Hortons.

The floor in our room was filthy. When I tried cleaning a small spill using a face cloth I was astonished at how dirty the floor was. This is why we don’t walk barefooted in hotel rooms I guess.

We were in a south facing lake view room. Room was clean but dated. Beds were super comfortable. Great view but being over the parking lot was extremely noisy. Great location. Nice private beach. Only one elevator that goes to parking so if you can’t use the stairs you’ll be waiting. Ice machine was broken. Staff were nice and accommodating.

The staff, the view, the location were all excellent. We had a one room and pull out couch. Layout was good but a few downsides. Mattress on pullout couch was the MOST uncomfortable thing. Springs poking you, noisy when you move. Air conditioner in living space was not great and nothing for coolness in the bedroom (it remained quite warm) Wallpaper in bathroom pealing Sliding door was very hard to open and close.

The room was only partially renovated. Beds were comfortable and fixtures in bathroom were new but finishing was not complete (eg modern sink but no counter, walls not painted). It was convenient to have a kitchenette area with second sink but it was very dated and full-sized fridge seemed out of place vs rest of the fixtures. The room was not accessible, long walk from elevator and some stairs so also inconvenient with large luggage. Very poor when compared with the room the rest of our party was staying in.

This was really disappointing we were awake starting at 5am Sat & no one did a thing to help us. The room next to us had people literally yelling and singing and talking very loud banging things around. It felt like they were 2 feet away from us. This was Saturday morning at 5am-615, I called the front desk but they didn't seem to fully understand or care. When these people finally left at 615 am it was quiet for about 5 minutes when the ice machine started going. I thought it would be over in 20-30 seconds but no it kept going for over 2 minutes. I got dressed and went outside to see what was going on and one of the hotel staff was filling up a plastic 5 gallon container of ice. I asked what she was doing and why she was filling up noisy ice right beside our door at 620 am on a Saturday and she just looked at me and walked away. I got up because couldn't sleep and let me partner try to fall back asleep. I went down and talked to the front desk and she just said ya, you called about the neighbours keeping you up. When we checked out again I told the new man at the front desk about how horrible this was for us and he said oh ok. No sorry nothing just "oh ok". The beach on the back side of this hotel was nice. The bathroom ceiling is partly falling in and there was dirt on the floors behind the doors. We choose this hotel because it was Holiday Inn and they should have a standard level but they did not!

Not only was our room a HUGE disappointment, the hotel was not concerned at all about making it right since we booked with Expedia. On top of all that, a few items were left in the room and the hotel has made zero effort to locate or return them despite many calls with customer service. For the price we paid for our stay, I Highly do NOT recommend staying here or with Holiday Inn in general.

I stayed with my 6 year old son because of the pool. The pool was dirty and full of hair. The hotel is dark and dingy. In the morning, we went to the restaurant for breakfast and waited 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. We waited another 15 min to receive our drinks, and when no one came to our table to take our order, I asked the woman who was bussing if someone could take our order so she did. After waiting 45 min for an order of mini waffles, the woman bussing asked the kitchen if our food was coming and the kitchen snapped at her. There were two tables in the restaurant that ordered food in the first hour that we there. The woman bussing was extremely helpful and very kind. Everyone else was very rude and ignored us the whole time we were there. When checking out of the hotel, I asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager was not available because they were in the kitchen helping cook 😳

We were delighted with the size of our room (we had a suite). The view from our room was spectacular. Our deck was accessible from the stairway outside so we had to be sure to lock the sliding door when we left the room. The bed was standard 2 star hotel firm. The hotel was clean. We did not have breakfast but a friend who did said it would be wise to skip breakfast. It was hard to get ahold of the front desk in the morning when we realized we were short a bath towel. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, lakefront room this is a great find. If you are looking for hotel amenities and stellar service...this is not your place.

We were able to check in about 45 minutes early which was appreciated. The pool and hot tub were as would be expected. The room is somewhat dated but large and cool. Full kitchen would be useful if staying for more than one or two nights. The place was clean and quiet. The location is great - so close to the lake. The fitness center is rudimentary but I was able to do a minor workout. It was disappointing that the next morning when we were expecting breakfast, none was offered. Not exactly sure why.
