The room was clean. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast he advertises is a gronal bar, mini muffins, gogurt and a caprisun in a brown paper bag. There was 4 of us there and he tried to give us 3 sacks and i pointed oht there was 4 of us total. He accused us of stealing towels when we checked out but again he only gave us 3 to begin with and 1 wash cloth. The pool was kind of gross looking. Its not a horrinle place to stay if your in a pinch i suppose.

The hot water in the shower would not turn off--the bathroom walls had mold on them. The website advertised free breakfast and a pool. There was not even coffee in the room and no breakfast. The pool was drained and unusable. The walls were so thin, I heard some guy snoring in another room and the ceiling creaked all night with someone upstairs. The clerk was sweet & tried to help, but these things were not under her control. A maintenance man knocked but didn't wait for me to dress and answer. Will not stay there again.

The “renovation” was just a paint over all the dirt and damage. Our room smelled like weed. The grounds were unkept and trash everywhere. Breakfast consisted of coffee only. We couldn’t even take a shower because the tub was so gross and it smelled of mildew. Needless to say we left after one night!

I cannot believe Econo Lodge in Kennett, Missouri is allowed to operate under the Econo Lodge name. This place was a total nightmare from the moment we stepped inside. First of all, the room was a sauna. There was only one tiny air conditioning unit that wasn’t even turned on before we arrived — in the middle of summer. It ran non-stop the entire time and still couldn’t cool the room down. We had to go out and buy our own fans just to make the room barely tolerable. The mini fridge didn’t work at all, so forget keeping anything cold. WiFi wouldn’t connect to the TV, and to top it all off, the manager had to come into our room at night to fix it. Totally inappropriate and made us feel unsafe. The floor was absolutely filthy. We couldn’t take two steps without our feet turning black — and we’re talking indoors. That’s how dirty the floors were. The beds were rock-hard and completely uncomfortable, and the bathroom was barely big enough to turn around in. We also picked this place specifically because it said there was a pool. Surprise — the pool was “out of order” with no explanation. Just more false advertising. Oh, and let’s talk about safety. There was a group of men standing around right outside our door all night long. Not just talking — loitering, drinking, hanging out. We didn’t feel safe going in or out of our room after dark. I didn’t expect cockroaches we switched rooms and lord n behold there was no towel’s cockroaches n it was just nasty I want my money back I don’t even want to lay my head down on a pillow I hate bugs n it smells really bad hair in bathtub and sick GROSS!!!!

Bugs in room both time ive stayed. Carpet was disgusting. Sheets had stains, couch needed taken out and burned. Had to fix the shower handle so i could shower. 10/10 don't recommend. Go across the street if your staying in Kennet.

AC sucked in cigarette and marijuana smells from the other side of the property. Toilet hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Red mold. Poor house keeping services. Had to ask for services. Microwave and fridge in poor working condition. My husbands meds were ruined because the fridge froze them. Frint desk guy was friendly and tried to be accomodating. Very poorly remodled. Looked like teenagers did it.

The front desk was lying about the internet. He indicated that it automatically upload in the iPhone no PW required and while in the room no connection of internet and he was not helpful afterwards. Upon entering the room there was a cockroach on the floor and bedsheets were dirty. We're very disappointed.

Roaches ewww. Lots of roaches. Luckily as I left I saw the Orikin car pull up so hopefully they will fix it. But the place definitely needs a deep cleaning. Stains on the walls and just kinda overall dirty. Furniture was cheap and uncomfortable the soaps were also extra cheap even for a shady motel. I recommend upgrading. But I will say the staff is very kind.

The place is trash way over priced add more to your room if you have more then 2 people. over 100 to stay there the water in tub would not drain out had to take shower in dirty water over my ankles. they would not change rooms the lady up front is the absolute worst there is no customer service no care just wants your money would highly suggest no staying and saving your money and driving out of the way to not stay here.

The beds and linens were new but the curtains smelled like smoke. There were roaches we didn’t see until the morning. The electric plugs didn’t work and the tables were falling apart. The room had been remodeled but very sloppily.

Check in was rather slow, dead bug and feathers(?) on the floor, no trash cans, shampoo was empty and when I went to check out at 6:15 door was locked so no "grab and go" breakfast. Tossed key card through slot. Room was not ready for guests.

Someone was in the room they gave me keys to! Gave me keys to another room it was not ready! Gave me keys to the first room it was very dirty! Looked like poop 💩 on the sheets! Couldn't stay there!

This property is very poorly maintained with roaches crawling around so bad we ended our trip early and did not finish we will not be using this place again and on top of that they allow people to live there which were fighting and arguing all hours of the night very unpleased

Property was easy to get into, plenty of parking, quiet, great staff, quiet, always had ice, great bed, nice tv service, needs a little remodeling but quite ok to stay.

I cannot believe Econo Lodge in Kennett, Missouri is allowed to operate under the Econo Lodge name. This place was a total nightmare from the moment we stepped inside. First of all, the room was a sauna. There was only one tiny air conditioning unit that wasn’t even turned on before we arrived — in the middle of summer. It ran non-stop the entire time and still couldn’t cool the room down. We had to go out and buy our own fans just to make the room barely tolerable. The mini fridge didn’t work at all, so forget keeping anything cold. WiFi wouldn’t connect to the TV, and to top it all off, the manager had to come into our room at night to fix it. Totally inappropriate and made us feel unsafe. The floor was absolutely filthy. We couldn’t take two steps without our feet turning black — and we’re talking indoors. That’s how dirty the floors were. The beds were rock-hard and completely uncomfortable, and the bathroom was barely big enough to turn around in. We also picked this place specifically because it said there was a pool. Surprise — the pool was “out of order” with no explanation. Just more false advertising. Oh, and let’s talk about safety. There was a group of men standing around right outside our door all night long. Not just talking — loitering, drinking, hanging out. We didn’t feel safe going in or out of our room after dark. This place was gross, uncomfortable, and made us feel unsafe. I wouldn’t stay here again if it was the last hotel on Earth. Save yourself t

The room was clean. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast he advertises is a gronal bar, mini muffins, gogurt and a caprisun in a brown paper bag. There was 4 of us there and he tried to give us 3 sacks and i pointed oht there was 4 of us total. He accused us of stealing towels when we checked out but again he only gave us 3 to begin with and 1 wash cloth. The pool was kind of gross looking. Its not a horrinle place to stay if your in a pinch i suppose.

The hot water in the shower would not turn off--the bathroom walls had mold on them. The website advertised free breakfast and a pool. There was not even coffee in the room and no breakfast. The pool was drained and unusable. The walls were so thin, I heard some guy snoring in another room and the ceiling creaked all night with someone upstairs. The clerk was sweet & tried to help, but these things were not under her control. A maintenance man knocked but didn't wait for me to dress and answer. Will not stay there again.

The property was nasty bathroom had paint falling off the doors there were cockroaches on the bed when I woke up the next morning there was no continental breakfast it was a little pack of muffins and an apple in a bag I will never stay there again

The “renovation” was just a paint over all the dirt and damage. Our room smelled like weed. The grounds were unkept and trash everywhere. Breakfast consisted of coffee only. We couldn’t even take a shower because the tub was so gross and it smelled of mildew. Needless to say we left after one night!

Sadly this was the only option in town so we had no other choice but to stay here. This hotel is in dire need of upgrading. Doors don’t feel like they lock fully so security feels lacking, check in after 10pm feels like checking in to prison because they will not let you into the lobby until they confirm your identity, there are cracks and rust all over the bathroom fixtures, the shower didn’t ever get warm. In spite of the disrepair, the rooms were clean. Otherwise, never again.

First of all door going into the room was broke. Only thing was holding the door in place was the handle didn’t even latch big gap on the door frame that you can see outside walking in the room smell smell terrible of moisture on the walls, this place didn’t even have an iron, soap or shampoo to take a shower, I got a big list of disappointing things of this place my last visit to this place.
