Staff wasn’t very friendly when we checked in. We found our room mostly clean but very run down, the new renovation were poorly completed. Think "lipstick on a pig". Then my husband went to ask about the pool and was told both the pool and hot tub were out of order. Very disappointed.

The tub was gross. The AC unit was loud and broken. Couldn't even sleep with the borken sound from it. The door wouldn't shut without slamming it and it wouldnt even open without throwing your body agesnt it. Worst experience ever.

Room was very clean, comfortable beds. I have a hard time sleeping anywhere other than my own bed, but i was able to sleep through the night here. We were on the ground floor, right next to the staff laundry room and an exterior door, and the noise was very minimal. Breakfast was good, had all the things you'd expect for a hotel breakfast. Overall fantastic stay!

The room we stayed in was not very clean. The bed had visible urine stains, which was extremely off-putting. The bathroom also appeared unclean, which made me very uncomfortable. Additionally, the bed frame was very loud. It constantly made popping and squeaking noises whenever we moved. While I understand that this hotel has supposedly been renovated, it didn’t feel that way based on our experience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The bathroom sink didn’t drain. We called the front desk and they said someone would be up. 40 minutes later we called, and then they said no maintenance staff were on site. They never fixed it. The bathroom had a large sticky spot of something, there was hair (a lot) in the bathtub, and also on one of the beds. It was not clean. Would definitely not recommend.

The motel and room were fine. What we didn't like was the bed. The mattress was too soft for us, but the real problem was the bed frame. Had hash browns which was nice but NO Orange Juice or bacon. The bed was noisy as it was on metal springs instead of box spring and when shifted at night or getting in bed it was noisy and since I was with my daughter and husband when they moved I heard their bed. Also it was noisy outside but my daughter picked this hotel and didn’t think of the freeway or all the motorcycles coming off freeway and down the street.

The staff was terrible we got in late because we were tired of driving. My older son booked the room and didn’t put the correct amt of people since I was driving. They wouldn’t let us check in and told us we needed to get another room because we had 5 people. Two are little kids and they still didn’t care. Waist of my money and time. We were just passing through enough to get get some sleep for our long journey ahead. Will never book with them again.

From the start the lady at the counter was friendly greeting us. She checked us and accommodated us on the first floor like requested. Room was clean and comfortable. I had an issue with my room after the first night with noise I perceived as coming from the kitchen. Front desk didn't question me and assigned me another room on the second floor. The day shift manager repeatedly asked me, when she saw me, if I was happy with my new room to which I replied, yes. This was the best experience I've had in recent years when traveling and when I checked out I told the same manager that I would be back next year when I come to visit family.

We had to stay the night for a function that was going on in downtown SLC. The location of the hotel was great! Right off I-80 and on State St. We had to bring our dog. It was not a problem. In fact the community has located a wonderful dog park right across the street and not on the collector street. We could easily walk back and forth and the pup was happy. Rooms were super clean. Lobby and hallways were super clean. We were very impressed. We will definitely stay again!

This hotel was so great. They are well equipped and friendly. I stayed 4 nights and it was great. The lobby and dining are and basically everything is organized and clean. Our stay was just okay and fell short of our expectations. For one, the listing advertises they have cribs/toddler beds. Upon arriving, they informed us that they did not have any on the premises which is really lame for parents traveling with a young toddler and us relying on this amenity. Also, the beds are on metal boxes that make a horrid crashing sound everytime you enter or exit the bed. Neither of the ice machines worked during our 3 day stay despite informing the front desk multiple times. This was particularly disappointing and difficult because it was almost 100 degrees during our stay in SLC. Lastly, the breakfast provided is very average to below average. Typical characters of powdered eggs, some type of sausage, and some form of potato. What was truly disappointing was the constant running out of food during breakfast service and running out of basic supplies like ketchup, maple syrup, etc. Also, the coffee was extremely weak and watered down and tasted burnt and stale. Overall, in a pinch, this place will suffice and is budget-friendly. If we visit SLC again, we would look to stay somewhere else even though it would cost us more money.
