Holiday Inn Express Redding North by IHG

Die Fenster waren nicht dicht. Es war sehr laut. Die Handtücher etwas angegraut und schmutzig. Beim Versuch deine warme Dusche zu nehmen hatte man die Duscharmatur in der Hand und mußte kalt duschen. Wir haben dies an der Rezeption bemängelt und die Duscharmatur vorgelegt. Dies fand die Dame lustig. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung. Beim Frühstück, das auch kein Highlight war, war jeder Toast einzeln in zwei Folien eingepackt !!! Ein Hinweis, daß das Waschbecken nicht im Badezimmer ist, wäre hilfreich. Das war auf den Bildern für uns nicht zu erkennen. Insgesamt war es zu teuer.

All was wonderful but the star of the show was Bonnie! She was the clerk on duty when we arrived. She saw I was towing a vehicle and came running out for suggestions for efficient parking as she had a full house this night. My hubby then came with a 29’ U-Haul to which she found a safe and large enough space. She even knew she had 14 more guests to check in still and was going to move her personal car to the street to help out. She should be in management or a trainer as her customer service, care for her guests and knowledge of her hotel surpassed any customer service I have experienced.

Everything was basically fine, except that there were signs saying absolutely no pets. That’s fine we have no pets. But when I was plugging in my phone the corner of the room smelled like cat pee. All night long since I slept on that side of the bed, I smelled cat pee all night. It was absolutely disgusting. If we didn’t all ready get in late and was exhausted from driving 10 hours, I would have asked for a different room. That really needs to be dealt with!!! Room 106!! So gross!!!

The cover bed was dirty, the smell in the bathroom was awful. These two were the top awful things we have encountered while being there.

My air conditioner had an issue with the fan that made a noise preventing me from sleeping well, otherwise the place is great.
