Hotel Royal Macau

Room was pretty spacious. The swimming pool, which is heated, was a big plus for the stay.

Great indoor pool, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Great loaction walkable to site seeing sites.

Pool advertised but was closed when I checked in. This sort of information should be relayed to a customer BEFORE they purchase a room rental.

The room in hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and kind as always. We had good memories with Hotel Royal Macau over the past decade as we always had a comfortable stay here. However, we were a bit disappointed with our previous stays recently. We got a room with a good price and we understood the view would not be great. Unfortunately, we found out the gym and swimming pool has been closed due to maintaince for one month from the notice in the room. We didn’t get any messages and reminders about the closure through Expedia or hotel email (maybe it is appered somewhere but not obvious to be easily noticed) before going to Macau. It was very frsutrated and upset from the start of the vacation. It reminded us last time we had the similar disappointment when having lunch at the Portuguese resturant Fado on the second floor of the hotel. Hotel guests should enjoy some discount when dining at Fado. But when we had the bill for our lunch, we were told the discount offer was not applicable since we already checked-out on the same day. We reserved the table with our room number but the resturant said the system did not allow us to get this discount. We asked the front desk of the hotel about the confusion of discount offer at Fado this time. They replied the guests should enjoy the discount even they check-out on the same day. Anyway, please ask the front desk and Fado to make sure the discount is available even you checkout on the same day.

Attractions are 15-20 minutes walking distance. No shuttle bus to custom Bridge to Hong Kong.

The hotel is situated in a quiet good location with many restaurants and supermarkets and convenience stores nearby. The room is comparatively clean with good air condition and the bed is comfortable. But there is limited shuttle bus to and from the pier.

This is one of the older hotels in Macao. I like the location with easy access to many small eateries, the Pine Tree Hill, and the main shopping streets. It also has a good-sized, heated indoor pool, which I used three times. This is a plus. The major negative is the shower, which is also a bath tub, so the space for a shower is kind of small. Despite this inconvenience, I will go back to this hotel the next time I make a trip the Macao.

Would love if there a shuttle bus from and to the cruise terminal. Had to hail a taxi. Also the cafe in the lobby costed too much and couldn’t get a refill of either tea or coffee as it had mentioned in menu. Lastly no discount at all.

everything was good except their shuttle service is lousy. theres one @ 2pm, next one is @ 6pm. so if you arrive in between, you're out of luck! so the service is totally meaningless. we stood there on a windy and raining afternoon for a good 45 min before finding it out at the hotel. we took taxi.

The hotel is located in a great location. Many restaurants nearby. The room was very clean and the staffs were very kind and helpful.

This is my second stay at Hotel Royal, and it never disappoints. The rooms are clean, beautiful views of the city, courteous staff. I will keep coming back here every time in Macau.

The drain did not work in the shower and the shower I took flooded the whole bathroom. Other than that great.

Nice rooms, relatively big compared to other hotels in Hong Kong in this price range. Location app. 10 minutes from the next MRT station. I will stay again here.

Noisy room that needs maintenance. I could not sleep week. The noise from the air conditioning system woke me up couple of times during the evening

The hotel room is a bit noisy

Clean and well equipped room. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location for walking and public transportation. This hotel may not be fancy as the big resorts, but is homey and comfortable.

Everything was great. Staff, facilities, meals , attention to details. We encourage people to stay at this hotel. We are going back.

Not very friendly front desk

I had stayed in this hotel multiple times in the past and each time it was very comfortable. The staff is courteous and they really try to accommodate any requests you may have. On my last stay I really appreciate Tommy at the front desk for his assistance especially after I'd travelled for almost 24 hrs.

Another great stay at The Hotel Royal. We arrived early and received a pleasant surprise as we were allowed to check in early. Great effort from Queenie on reception.

Front desk was very rude. I came in a bit early (1pm) all I was told was “checkout later”.

We had such a relaxing and memorable stay at Hotel Royal Macau ...the immaculately decorated and spacious rooms exceeded our expectations and enhanced our stay. Highly recommended - Grand Lisboa was walking distance away so was the St. Paul Cathedral, yet the hotel was situated in a quiet area away from too crowded Casino areas.

hotel location is pretty good, its in an older part of town, it is immersive, we get to see the locals on their day-to-day, to the schools, to the shops, the markets. We see the grand lisboa hotel down the road, it is walkable about 20mins to where the cluster of casino hotels are.

This was a very pleasant stay. Clean room, great location, wonderful staff, working Wi-Fi, everything as advertised, great value, no issues.

セナド広場から徒歩10分程度のところに位置し、非常に便利です。周辺にはレストランが多く存在し、食べる場所に不自由することはありません。ホテルのスタッフは皆親切でした。近隣のポルトガル料理店を何件か訪問しましたが、いずれも素晴らしい味と価格で大満足でした。

Hôtel confortable situé dans le vieux Macao, offrant un service de shuttle gratuit pour le terminal des ferries. Le petit déjeuner buffet est très bien et coute environ 20 euros.

Safe, clean and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Restaurant was a bit disappointing, but we found all the Portuguese food in Macau a bit lacking in flavour. Good Happy Hour options in the downstairs lobby..

早餐食物質素普通，令人失望。 沒有自助咖啡機及熱水，顧客時刻都要呼召忙碌的服務員添加咖啡或熱開水，非常不便亦增加了服務員的工作量。

雖然不是新酒店，但前臺親切有禮，環境乾淨。訂了兩間twins，前臺職員ROY主動為我們upgrade👍因為大雨影響了當天外出用餐，最後選擇了酒店內的葡菜餐廳。款式口味都非常好，環境好，餐廳職員親切有禮，價錢合理，CP值非常高👍有機會會再入住

Fast, efficient check-in, lovely big room, excellent breakfast buffet in the Fado Restaurant, the Chinese Restaurant serving Shanghainese dishes also first class.

Hotel was very nice. Staff are friendly. The pool is private, less people in the evening but might get busy during the day. There are change rooms available for women and men. The gym has reasonable weights and machines available. Breakfast buffet had variety of foods available but some foods were alittle cold. Overall the room and bathroom was clean. It's about 5 mintues walk to bus stops. And 15-20 mintues from Ruins of St. Paul's. I'd stay again if I was in the area.
