We stayed here as we traveled for a family vacation and enjoyed the cabin in the mountains! We used this location as a hub to drive to Winslow, Williams, and the Grand Canyon! House was clean and enjoyed the hot tub on the deck!

This property was very nice and clean. It was in a nice neighborhood out of the hustle of downtown, yet still close enough to be convenient. It made the weekend with the family very memorable. It slept 12 of us easily and hotels cannot compare to the feel of having everyone together under one roof. The property has a jacuzzi (we didn't use, but was a nice option), a bbq on the patio for grilling meals, a fireplace, tv & internet capabilities and a full kitchen with all the basics anyone would need. The communication with the rental company was perfect. We had checked out and left medications accidently in the fridge but we were able to contact them and allowed to return and pick them up saving both money and peace of mind. There are a couple things that would put this property over the top however. The double and twin bunk beds are worn and in need of replacement, the knives are dull (dull knives are dangerous knives as they slip off the food potentially injuring the user) & it would be nice if the hot water heater had a higher capacity to hopefully keep up with the 12 of us. Overall, we truly enjoyed this property and would give it a 9 / 10. The entire family had a great weekend together celebrating our university graduate. Thank you!

We did not go in the water due to the lack of chemical balance. The water was also cloudy. It looked like it needed to be drained and refilled.3. A pill of some sort was left on the floor of the bedroom where we stayed upstairs. Again, we traveled with our dogs so we’re thankful we found it before one of them did.4. One toilet had urine on the underside of the seat...ew.5. One bathroom had 2 out of the 4 vanity lights out.6. They’re were crumbs left on the island countertop.7. Island countertop was sticky. It could use a resurfacing. We read this in the reviews and it is an issue.We don’t travel often and I do not like giving subpar reviews, but it was these points above that made our stay less than desirable.

We really enjoyed our stay here with family and friends. The bedrooms were perfect for our combined families and the beds were comfortable. We found everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen and the kids loved to explore around the yard and take a dip in the hot tub. We loved the real wood burning fireplace the most! It was close to the North Pole Experience and downtown Flagstaff. Some things in the house could be updated but overall it was clean and nice for a short stay. We did really look forward to catching a couple of football games while relaxing at the house but the living room tv was very small. A larger TV would have made our trip more enjoyable. We did appreciate that the check out instructions were easy because when traveling with kids, it's a lot just to make sure you have everything packed let alone having a huge laundry list of chores to do before you check out. This home was not like that so it was very nice to pack up, get the dishes in the dishwasher, empty the fridge and go. Thank you from my tired mom heart! The only reason why I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars is because we have stayed at many places similar in price that were a bit more upgraded and had more things for the kids to do, more land, games, etc. but they also weren't as close into town so location may play a key. A few minor changes to make it seem more homey would go a long way into making more of a 5 star experience. Overall we were very satisfied though and had a great time.

The house was wonderful, hot tub delightful and felt spacious for the amount of people inside. The counter and floors were slightly sticky, but we were told that was normal for the counters. Most everything was in great shape, minus a few broken bed slats on the bottom of one of the bunk beds. We had enough room for everyone regardless and will definitely be coming back! Thanks again for being so accommodating and getting back to us in a timely manner. 10/10 would stay here again ☺️

Flagstaff was super charming, and this house definitely helped enhance the experience for me and my family. The location of the property is in a quiet neighborhood but a lot of other houses, but the "chalet" is unique in how high it's situated so you'd don't necessarily notice the other houses around you. I loved the wide open space, the well appointed kitchen, the hot tub, and the bedroom layout. You do get a whiff of chimney smoke when you walk in, as the fireplace clearly gets a lot of use, but that's likely to be a plus for many. Overall I would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in Flagstaff, even with the freezing temperatures and snow. Location is great, very close to restaurants and interstate access, as a base for Flagstaff and Grand Canyon adventures. Easy text communication with the owner. The hot tub is literally on the front deck of the house and because of the lack or privacy, gusty winds and freezing temps, we did not use it but it looked and smelled clean. The previous guest had used the wood burning fireplace (we did not) so there was a campfire smell at check in. Kitchen was well equipped and the provided laundry detergent and washer/dryer was super useful. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, except for lots of dog walkers (even in 20 degrees!). Upstairs bedroom mattress was a bit too soft for us, but we are used to very very firm. Check in information was very detailed and check out was simple, not a lot of household chores. With four of us on devices and the tv streaming, we did have buffering a few times but the Wi-Fi was adequate. I concur with the other reviews that the island butcher block surface can seem sticky but it is clean. No big deal! We are a family of four - 2 adults, 2 teenagers - and this house was a good base camp for us.

The biggest disappointment was we couldn’t use any of the balconies off the bedrooms. A few of the kitchen utensils were broken. But we made due.The host was very helpful and responded right away. It’s an older house and could use a deep cleaning. We found socks under the couch and candy rappers underneath the bed. I’m not sure I would recommend it to my friends.

Health hazard! The bed looks like it’s been peed in since 1980. There is nothing luxurious about this rental. It was dirty, unkept, not maintained, and rundown. The furniture is not the same furniture that is pictured in the listing.The pictures tell the entire story. DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE.

We had a bunch of family gather at this rental for tonight. The rental is in a nice neighborhood in Flagstaff and it was convenient if you’re doing Flagstaff adventures, or heading to the Grand Canyon. The house has definitely been a rental for a long time and therefore needs a lot of TLC. It was not clean to my expectations. There were ample cooking tools and the lake and nice living and kitchen gathering spaces.

Overall we were happy with the house. The hot tub was an added bonus. Nice layout, but felt old. No games, kitchen items were adequate, but opening cupboards that are empty makes the place feel...so lonely. Would be nice to have added extras. Serving platters, salad bowl...etc. I see this place as a hangout for a bunch of skiers that come to crash rather than a place for a family that want to enjoy time together...playing games. Even with all that said, I would recommend to friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay at the Majestic Mountain Chalet. Our family of 5 had plenty of space and were very comfortable. It was clean and in a very nice neighborhood. We still felt like we had enough privacy and the house was conveniently located to all the places we wanted to visit (university, observatory, hiking trails, parks, etc...). We didn't realize that there wasn't any air conditioning (only heat), but the weather was pretty nice and it didn't bother us too much. Overall, the place was great!

After staying only 1 of our 2 nights that we paid for, we decided to leave. The cabin was too hot for us to be able to sleep. We tried to open as many windows and doors as possible, but couldn't keep them open at night as only a few of the windows and only 1 of the doors had a screen. There are two ceiling fans, but without cooler temps they did little to help. In addition, the bed we slept in was broken down in places, and the couch in the living room was also broken down. The gas cooktop could not be started without a lighter, after turning the gas to the burner on. Pretty scary. For the money charged, I expected MUCH better.

We booked this place as a place to stay the night as we moved across the country with our 1 year old and cats. On Expedia, the listing says that pets are welcome. So we booked based on that. Well apparently, they only allow dogs. Which is fine but that’s no where on the listing. They were able to accommodate us for additional fees but I wish this rule was posted somewhere so that we would have avoided the headache. The property itself was great! Lots of space and the amenities were nice. However, ironically since the no cats rule was because of “many people having cat allergies”, there was dog hair all over the bedspread in the master. Good thing we aren’t allergic to dogs, though our cats weren’t too pleased.

Reviewer Comments: We were so excited to start an annual tradition by driving to Flagstaff to celebrate fourth of July with family. Unfortunately our stay wasn’t exactly the best. Although we liked the location. We did not know the house had no A/C or that it was locked. It was very hot the entire time we were there. At night the ones sleeping in the downstairs bedrooms were miserable. There was no ice or ice trays. We went to buy some as we were so hot. We weren’t allowed to use the balconies or even the balcony doors and there were no other windows in the upstairs bedroom. There was also food crumbs on the counter tops when we arrived , dog hair in the pull out couch. The place advertises that it sleeps 14 people, but beware that price you think your paying is just for four people, they tack on an extra 10 dollars a day per person after the first four. They don’t tell you about that until you have already paid And then contact you to collect extra money. They don’t have enough plates for fourteen people in the cabin ( we went out and bought paper plates to cover and there were only 8 of us). Then we recently got a charge taken out of our deposit of 80.00 because we didn’t pay for the cabin with an E check, apparently it’s in tiny writing in the agreement you sign, we never saw it at all. Lots of hidden fees with this place. We will definitely choose somewhere different next year.

The rental is in a nice neighborhood in Flagstaff and it was convenient if you’re doing Flagstaff adventures, or heading to the Grand Canyon. The house has definitely been a rental for a long time and therefore needs a lot of TLC. It was not clean to my expectations. There were ample cooking tools and the lake and nice living and kitchen gathering spaces.

We enjoyed our stay in Flagstaff, even with the freezing temperatures and snow. Location is great, very close to restaurants and interstate access, as a base for Flagstaff and Grand Canyon adventures. Easy text communication with the owner. The hot tub is literally on the front deck of the house and because of the lack or privacy, gusty winds and freezing temps, we did not use it but it looked and smelled clean. The previous guest had used the wood burning fireplace (we did not) so there was a campfire smell at check in. Kitchen was well equipped and the provided laundry detergent and washer/dryer was super useful. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, except for lots of dog walkers (even in 20 degrees!). Upstairs bedroom mattress was a bit too soft for us, but we are used to very very firm. Check in information was very detailed and check out was simple, not a lot of household chores. With four of us on devices and the tv streaming, we did have buffering a few times but the Wi-Fi was adequate. I concur with the other reviews that the island butcher block surface can seem sticky but it is clean. No big deal! We are a family of four - 2 adults, 2 teenagers - and this house was a good base camp for us.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice location and great for our needs. Jacuzzi is in front yard and there is no back yard, but otherwise photos are true depiction of place. Was great for two families as all the cousins loved sleeping together in the bunk room. All supplies were provided or available. Thanks for a great week in flagstaff!
