We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at La Bastide de Moustiers. Our room was cosy, the attention to details given to the fixtures and fittings of the room was exceptional and gave a very luxurious Provençal touch. Although the staff was happy to reserve a table for us at the highly rated Ducasse restaurant, we didn’t not dine there, however it is a significant plus to top up the luxurious Provençal experience. We enjoyed spending time by the pool although it would have been more enjoyable had the pool been heated. Overall a very comfortable and luxurious stay.

It was a wonderful stay in a truly beautiful setting. Whether on the restaurant terrace, in the backyard, by the pool, or on the room’s private terrace, every spot was comfortable and allowed me to truly relax from the bottom of my heart. The staff were friendly and helpful, kindly responding to several of my questions and requests.Of course, the restaurant was also wonderful. I especially loved the buffalo cheese and the chicken — truly memorable dishes. I would love to return for a longer stay next time. Thank you so much for everything.

if you are going to the verdun gorge area this is it rooms are wonderful food is gourmet both breakfast and dinner great stop for two days as you get to see the village and the lake area
