Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The lighting in the bathroom was great and I liked the large counter for holding all of our toiletries. The shower curtain needed washed and the floor could use a good scrubbing. Breakfast and coffee were good. The only disappointment was the hot tub- it was lukewarm rather than hot.

My husband and I were riding our motorcycles in the beautiful mountains of WVA and found this gem when we decided to stop for the night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well maintained. Added bonus - they offered covered bike parking, with security cameras and towels to wipe your bike down. The outside seating was awesome and we loved the huge map of the best riding routes and stops in the area. We will definitely stay again if we are back in the area.

For the extremely high price, this hotel is terrible. Small but adequate rooms. But the staff were not pleasant or helpful at all. Pull in hot tub were broken the entire time. And apparently this has been going on for months based on other reviews. The town itself is extremely uninteresting. Dining options are abysmal. The only thing that’s remotely good about this area. Is the state parks in the national forest. It would’ve actually been cheaper to stay in a lodge at the beautiful waterfalls State Park. This is joke. I am an Expedia platinum member, and can honestly say, it is the worst value for a hotel that I have experienced in several hundred hotel stays through Expedia.

This is one of the worst values of the thousands of hotels where I have stayed. I am an Expedia Platinum member. This hotel is pathetic. Front desk staff are extremely unhelpful. The pool and hot tub were both down, but of course they didn’t give any prior indication of this. The town where does located is extremely boring and full of drug addicts. It is somewhat close to some nice state parks in the manila national Forest. But you would pay the same price to stay at a resort in one of the state parks. This hotel is a disgrace. I literally hate everything about it.

I gave the poor rating because the pool and hot tub were out of order and the front desk clerk did not even apologize for it. He was very rude to me and had the attitude ‘too bad so sad’. I paid extra money to stay at the property to use the hot tub after skiing. I paid about $100 more for two nights to have the hot tub that wasn’t available. I am very disappointed in the service and not being able to use the hot tub.

The pool and hot tub were closed. The room smelled sour and the bedding and rug was damp to the touch. The A/C had a mildew smell and had to be turned off. I woke up in the morning with a mild sore throat. The manager quickly acted upon my report of the room and request to check out early. He called hotels.com directly to assist with the early check out and refund process.

It was really fun getting to tour the town and see a lot of beautiful places. The room was perfectly sized as well as quiet! The service was really appreciated as after a long day of traveling they were very accommodating to bring extra towels and pillows. Everything was extremely clean! They have a very reasonably priced small market for snacks, drinks and medicine at the front lobby and lots of fun art along the walls. Great complementary breakfast and pancake machine! Will be happy to stay here again!

Didn't do breakfast. Had to leave too early. Room was not as explained. I had reserved 2 queen beds & was put in a King bed which was not comfortable. Room above me as noisy-someone running around most of night. annoying when someone has to get sleep to work next day, Should've been notified of the room change in advance.

At first they have us the wrong room. We were to stay in a room with two queen beds, but we got an ADA room with one queen bed and small sleep sofa. We had driven for 6 hours and I really didn’t want my granddaughter to have to short on the sofa bed because she was tired from sharing the driving. About an hour after we checked in the had a cancellation and quickly switched us to that room which had two queen beds. Pool was ice cold, but clean. We made the most of it

The staff was super friendly and accommodating with all of our needs. We actually had a very late check in,and the young lady was so kind when we asked for a room on the first floor.( the rooms were already assigned,) She pleasantly hooked us up nicely without hesitation. Are stays here are always great!

Stayed two nights. Would loved to have stayed longer to explore more of Elkins. Definitely a recommended city. Hotel was perfect. Great breakfast and loved the daily fresh cookies coffee and tea available. Staff super friendly. All of downtown is walkable and safe... Great relaxing in hot tub. Room was well insulated; never heard another guest and the hotel was full as far as we could tell. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.

Special kudo's go to the staff that prepared breakfast, especially the gentleman who walked around making sure all the food and the drink stations were full and cleaned up. We were there for a week and he did a tremendous job.
