The WiFi signal wasn’t strong enough to connect anything in our room at the end of the building by the pool…. The lobby was really nice compared to the rest of building. Staff at front desk were friendly and breakfast was decent. There were no towels for guests in the pool until they were closing for the night, then they only brought 5 towels. We checked 6 people in for 2 nights and had 2 towels for the entire stay, even after asking for more. We had to use our pool towels for showers… The beds were comfortable but only about half of the (very sparse) outlets/usb plugs worked. There is also no microwave in the room! There are 2 downstairs in the hallway by the pool but only one warms things. The indoor pool was alright, there were also 2 balconies attached with lots of seating. The balconies attach to the balconies rooms and give the guest zero privacy on there area. Beware the jagged rusted metal chair. And there is no elevator! You go up 2 flights of stairs to get to the second floor.

Had to walk long distance to go in and out. Locks were broken.Only microwave was in the hallway. Pool closed after 1st night. Owners should be embarrassed to rent rooms here.

Only the indoor pool was open but was nice. Location was great. Room was nice but bathroom needed updated and had a mildew odor. Breakfast was better than the usual contenential with warm yummy options

Cool pool area(indoor), we had balcony so you were right next to pool balcony. Balcony area had no view besides an abandoned hotel and everyone else that was on The pool patio smoking. Side doors don’t lock and our room was right next to it. You could hear every time it was opened and closed. Needs updating, very old. It was changed over from a local hotel. Their sign was over top Of the old sign from previous hotel. Noisy upstairs all night. Sounded like they were coming through the floor every time they walked & that was often(all hours). 3 am we decided to get up and leave. Water didn’t go down the drains, both sink and tub. Tv kept going out of signal. Couldn’t find one station. Beds okay with what little sleep we received due to the hollow walls where you could hear absolutely everything. Dirty floors and sheets didn’t smell fresh. For $130 I expected MUCH BETTER.

Rooms were a good size, staff was friendly, never had any personal issues. My issue was that we celebrated my birthday here (July 14) and I wanted to lay out by the pool and swim but they shut both pools down at the same time. Didn’t let us swim at all. Why shut down both if you have 2 and offer pools? We also had to sleep with the tv on every night because the outside noise was insanely loud throughout the night, and then on check out day, they sent me an automated text asking me when I was going to check out, so I selected 11am, then 30 mins later at 9am the staff comes by knocking on my door that had a do not disturb sign on it asking me when I was checking out. That was very irritating. But all in all, other than those things, it was a decent stay for the price and did have very friendly staff.

Positive: hot water in shower and good water pressure. Free parking. Friendly staff at check in. Soft towels. Negative/s: garbage outside side entrance for the entire stay. Side entry door is a numeric push key pad and was wide open for anyone to enter, was broken so had to be shut very hard. Very uneasy about this! No lighting in the same entry hall to the building my room was in, it was a dark enclosed hall to another door just to get in the lower level. Smoke alarm battery alert sounding at 6am hanging from the ceiling in the room. (Was resolved) A/c was off on arrival and it was stifling hot in the room, had to leave and come back to be able to tolerate it. It was 94° outside and July! Very run down aesthetically. Not a huge or appealing selection for breakfast. Inconvenient accessibility to front lobby.

The good: room was large & clean. Only one towel per person. Breakfast had a good selection. Indoor pool nice but chilly. Good location. Price was right. The not so good: Howard Johnson and Ramada share temporary signage. Easy to miss when driving. We arrived 1.5 hours before the 3:00 check in but was told they had no rooms available had to leave. Non working fountain and unmowed lawn in the front. Outdoor pool not open, broken. Air conditioner was loud when kicking on and off. Old mattresses in the rear of the property. Charged a $50 "deposit" at check in.

The facility is more like an inn and not a hotel. It also has a pool that is colder than the temp outside. And it’s December. Even in the pool area is freezing. Not kid friendly as most of us with children book hotels to swim together. Breakfast was good but make sure you wake early. It ends at 9 even on weekends. I wouldn’t go again.

The place is located in a good spot, but its old and dirty, the carpet looks like have not been washed in decades, the room smells, the fridge in our room has not been clean or open and had mold and smell so bad, we did not use it and inform the front desk and nothing happen. The Wi-Fi never work, the breakfast was so bad, the mix for the waffles was so watery it did not even cook right LOL! so were the grits, yiak! Stay away, or if you don't mind, go, because its cheap.

The room had an awful smell the bedspread had big stains on it the shower was dingy and not very cleanUpon entering the room, a pungent odor immediately permeated the air. The unpleasant scent suggested a lack of proper ventilation and cleaning. Further inspection revealed a bedspread marred by prominent stains. From the pictures it just looked old…which I could handle. The floor was disgusting, my daughter’s feet were black after walking on it for 10 minutes while we were unloading the car. The bathroom was filthy. The toilet seat was not connected to the toilet. The chair in the room was filthy. We stayed one night and then left asap in the morning to stay elsewhere.

Room was filthy!! Floor was a light color and didn’t show dirt and I guess they don’t clean it but it is dull looking but you Walk across floor and your socks are nasty!! Tub was filthy!! Bathroom was nasty!! The toilet was clean and the bed linen was clean!! But the floors were the nastiest I have ever see in a room!! The pic of the bottom of my sock didn’t turn out clear!!

Extremely disappointed, room was dirty, made a maintenance request and no one showed up, showers didn't worked properly, entire hotel was dirty and smelled , front desk was rude, 2 rooms were my family was at were infested with roaches. Rooms didn't looked nothing like in the website, paid for queen beds an ingot fulls. I'm an active traveler and it was by far the worst hotel I have stayed at. And also found roaches in dinning room also.

The room itself was hot, muggy, smelly & dirty. We didn’t even want our suitcases touching anything. The beds made us itchy. The shower wouldn’t drain and the room smelled like mildew.

Not the cleanest. Smells like mold. Mold in air conditioner. Extremely loud people above us. One bed has hair and food crumbs in it. Dead bugs on the floor. But, its cheap and not horrible for the price. If youre looking to save money on sleeping and spend more on attractions. This may be the place.

Room 104 had a puddle of water on the floor, but no visible leaks, visible daylight between the wall and the air conditioner, toilet wasn’t bolted to the floor, mold/mildew on the shower ceiling, huge, spider in the bathroom, tub was clogged and took forever to drain, only 1 outlet worked, fridge was turned off and someone’s leftovers were still in there so it reeked, gross stains on the blankets and sheets. Housekeeping was awful. Front desk was nice about changing bedding. They offered to switch our room, but were fully booked. I understand the building is old, but most issues were thoughtless housekeeping. You can’t make it shiny and new, but you can make it functional, comfortable, and presentable. New eyes see this room every day, so the details matter.

The balconies attach to the balconies rooms and give the guest zero privacy on there area. Beware the jagged rusted metal chair. And there is no elevator! You go up 2 flights of stairs to get to the second floor.
The WiFi signal wasn’t strong enough to connect anything in our room at the end of the building by the pool…. The lobby was really nice compared to the rest of building. Staff at front desk were friendly and breakfast was decent. There were no towels for guests in the pool until they were closing for the night, then they only brought 5 towels. We checked 6 people in for 2 nights and had 2 towels for the entire stay, even after asking for more. We had to use our pool towels for showers… The beds were comfortable but only about half of the (very sparse) outlets/usb plugs worked. There is also no microwave in the room! There are 2 downstairs in the hallway by the pool but only one warms things. The indoor pool was alright, there were also 2 balconies attached with lots of seating. Internet was unconnectable. Was told from front desk I would have to log in every time i came back to the room. Only thing we were happy with was we were off the may strip of traffic. Room was clean and hot tub great. Elevator would have been nice, at our age.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. It was nothing fancy by any means, but it was exactly what we needed for our family and our budget. I'd stay here again.

Enjoyed the hotel, check-in was quick and simple. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to the strip, so easy to get to everything. Fat enough away that you didn't hear all the noise. The only bad thing I can think of is that the helicopter fly over for the tours and can be noisy during the day.

The check in was terrible, the lady at desk was rude and charged me again, even though the room was paid through Expedia. The halls smelled horrible (to be fair the room did not). When we finally found our room, it was extremely dated and there were spiders in the bath tub. The office closes at 11 p.m. and there were people yelling and running in the hall until 2 a.m., but no one to call. The breakfast area was filthy and they had used the bags you put ice in as "liners" for the hot food. The one single thing that was good was the shower head, apparently that was updated. I would never stay here again. I am shocked that the Wyndam name is on this establishment.

We stayed during the Jeep Branson event. When we arrived we found out we were on the 2nd floor. The manger (and fellow Jeep owner) saw that we were taking the doors off our Jeep. We had plans to keep them in the room while we cruised Branson in awesome weather. She moved us to a first floor for convenience. She was very friendly and helpful. She also "ducked" our Jeep before we left. Great interaction with staff and we were close to all the activities we wanted to do. Great place. Will stay here next time we are in Branson. Hopefully soon!

Check in took over 40 minutes because they only had 1 person checking people in. There were 3 other employees sranding there doing nothing, even though the line was out the door. Finally one of them got onto a computer and started helping check us in. We booked the hotel over the July 4th holiday and specifically because it had indoor and outdoor pools. Apparently the outdoor pool is broke and the indoor pool was going to be fixed "soon". According to reviews the pools have been closed for at least 3 weeks. The room was supposed to be non smoking, but reeked of cigarette smoke. The floors are laminate and were dirty and sticky. We only stayed one night of the 2 night reservation and left for a different hotel. Very disappointed because Wyndham hotels are usually nice. I think they should let guests know ahead of time if their pools are closed. My grandkids were so upset. Don\'t stay there

After checking in we went to our room. Immediately we smelled cigarette smoke. I stopped the worker who was outside and asked if we could move to another room, unfortunately there was nothing available so we stayed. After being in the room for 10 minutes my husband noticed there were TWO fleas on him. I was in the middle of changing my daughter on the bed, when I looked over I also saw a flea on the pillow. Of course we immediately got our belongings and I went to the front desk. The lady was very friendly and apologized. She told us we would get a full refund for the two days that we had booked. It has now been almost two weeks since and we have received nothing. I contacted hotels.com and they did not receive any refund on their end. When the representative contacted the hotel he said that they would not be refunding me for the two days but they can refund one day. I then called and spoke to the manager myself. He was super unprofessional, said I was a liar and hung up on me. We were in Branson on 4th of July weekend, so finding another hotel was a struggle! We had no reason to make up a lie and leave, knowing it would be hard if not impossible to find another place to stay.

Online said full breakfast but was no eggs and sausage. Looked like room was painted recently but not very neatly. Carpet needs stretched or replaced. Shower was also stained and discolored. We were close to most of the shows we attended.Smoking was allowed outside of the rooms but we still had to walk through the smoke sometimes when leaving our room. Remote would work to change channels but not to turn the tv on or off. The pricing was great compared to other motels I checked. Enjoyed having a mini frig in the room but no microwave was in the room. King bed was comfortable.

The not so good: Howard Johnson and Ramada share temporary signage. Easy to miss when driving. We arrived 1.5 hours before the 3:00 check in but was told they had no rooms available had to leave. Non working fountain and unmowed lawn in the front. Outdoor pool not open, broken. Air conditioner was loud when kicking on and off. Old mattresses in the rear of the property. Charged a $50 "deposit" at check in.

There is a sign out front of the hotel that says its the southern oaks inn. There is a small sign below that says howard johnsons. Made it very diffulcult to locate it. Breakfast was a joke. Cold eggs and sausage, oatmeal, bagels, apples or waffels. No bread for toast. Employee got irate with me when i asked where the bread was. Next day same employee got snarky with me when i asked if threre was a mop to clean up the coffee i spilled on the floor. Said she didnt know where they kept the mop and she would look for it later. This was a safety violation and someone could have fallen .

Situated for good access to Silver Dollar City and Sight and Sound and several restaurants within short distance but was upset we did not get full breakfast as they advertise..No eggs, no sausage just thin white gravy for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised. I was visiting the area to help family make a move and just needed someplace reasonable to stay. The property was older but had been kept up and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Not really remodeled, but still for its age, clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. We used the indoor pool one evening and it was nice as well. In a time where hotels charge you more and give you less, this place out performed. While my room wasnt actually cleaned daily, i would arrive back to clean towels and restocked coffee, which really surprised me because I've stayed in way more expensive places and had to beg for those items, or go and get them myself. Overall for the value, location, and service, I would most definitely recommend this motel. Its great for families or travelers on a budget! You get more than you pay for!
