Embassy Suites by Hilton Houston Near the Galleria

Staff was extremely nice. Elevators were very slow.

The common areas were nice, and the staff was friendly during check-in. However, the room itself was a bit disappointing. There were stains on the furniture, and the headboard had noticeable scratch marks that had damaged the material. The bathroom appeared clean at first glance, but the tub looked dingy and had clearly been repainted in several areas. The sink faucet was also misaligned, leaving visible gaps, and the sink stopper was broken, so it had to be removed for the water to drain properly. Overall, the room was clean enough for the price, but it did not meet my expectations. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the pool, but the water was freezing cold in the morning, making it unusable for us, which was disappointing. The elevators also need repairs, they closed on more than one guest during our stay.

The breakfast was the only food thing about this place. Unfortunately it’s just so old and it’s dirty…

I have been visiting Houston every year for the past 8 consecutive years for an annual convention, using the Embassy Suites due to its great location. Unfortunately, I have seen a continuous deterioration of the building and rooms! The Premium floor room I was staying in as a constant bad smell coming from the (un-used) bathroom, I assume from the vents, the furniture is very old and uncomfortable - the bed headboard was a disaster. It looks very old and outdated. Embassy Suites lost an annual customer....

Everything was okay just the room was really hot the entire night.
