Online hotel says it offers shuttle service, which we wanted to go to the casino. We were told it didn’t start running until 3 by one staff member and then when we asked at 3:15 another staff member said the shuttle won’t be ready for at least about 15 minutes and it really doesn’t run until the evening. The hotel owner had a family party, they were lighting off fireworks and one of the kids pulled the fire alarm at 11pm at night waking everyone up. I am glad the owner cares about the people paying for hotel rooms. The $14.99 buffet was not good either for the money and the staff acted like we were going to leave without paying.

Hotel was in good shape minus some minor flaws like the toilet seat being a little broken and the temp knob on the fridge being broken. A little disappointed that the hot tub wasn't in service, but it was great to have an indoor and outdoor pool. Staff was great and friendly and hotel food options were nice. Definitely planning to stay here again for our next trip.

The building is undergoing renovation and lacking signs to help navigate you around the building. Floor 1 hallway was wet. The pool room was cold and hot top was taped off. Bar was the bright spot. For the price this Holiday Inn was not up to snuff. We stay at lots of Holiday Inns and this one was a bit worn out. It is not consistent with our Holiday Inn experience. It seems like an older hotel that needs updating. The carpets were dirty, the towels were dingy, the decor was tired. The AC was one of the ones that cycles off and on all night waking you up with each noisy change. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The food was ok. The staff was good.

Had to switch rooms do to a leaking fridge, black mold on the shower and a non working toilet. Our new room had holes in the lamp shades, rust in the shower, an actual hole in the wall and stains on the rug

Our room could’ve been a lot cleaner. The tub in the shower was obviously old and had rust around the drain. The small bottles of shampoo and conditioner were dirty. The toilet had a ring of dirt in the bowl and something was stuck on the front of it. Our thermostat kept showing error and not all of the electrical outlets worked. The door also needed to be played around with to shut properly and the deadbolt didn’t work. Thankfully we were only planning to be in our room for a few hours since we were at the casino for the night. We did like how close it is to the casino but next time we will definitely try somewhere else.

The room smelled like mildew. I could see black stuff in the air conditioner vent. Our door that overlooked the pool was stuck and rusty. The tub was not the cleanest. The restaurant food was not good. My kids didn't eat their pulled pork sandwiches. We paid 697.08 for 2 nights. This was very over priced for the condition of the hotel and room. I will not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

It looks like they are getting ready to start renovations. They should not be rent out ANY rooms with in the deplorable conditions of the rooms. My room looked like someone with animals had lived in the room. Lampshades broken, carpet pulled up, stained, and bubbling, furniture with huge scratches and gouges. It was not in condition to rent out!

The staff was friendly but i could barely understand what he was saying. They are in the progress of updating and used the pictures of the updated rooms to advertise. That wa misleading. My was was very outdated. It had cracks and holes. Visible stains on the furniture. A small tv. And all i heard all night was traffic outside.

My favorite part was that it was pet friendly! Really nice hotel with a lot to do right on the premises. The only complaint I had was that the ac would come on, turn off, turn on, turn off. It would get hot and I would wake up and it would turn on and cool off. I hardly slept.

I paid for a king suite and received 2 double beds overlooking (after i had to stand on my tiptoes) the vents! I called down to get a king bed and was told hotels.com booked me in a double bed room! I was also informed at that time there was no king available. It was so stuffy and warm in the room and the heating system must have been controlled by a cental location because i turned the thermostat down to 58 and it was the same temp (hot and stuffy). We had to open the window a crack to get air and there were no screens

The outlet between the beds was malfunctioning and clicked every 3 seconds the entire night we had to put white noise on in order to go to sleep, when I texted the front desk their response was oh sorry to hear that. The only mirror in the room was the bathroom There was no access to tv hubs and the tv and cable seem to be from the early 2000s

We arrived at 245 after a 3 hour car ride. My husband and I had our 4 year old granddaughter with us. We were told that we could not check in until 4. We waited in the car with the windows down as it was a hot day. At 4 we checked in and was told that the card reader was down so they would not be able to give us a room key. Every time that we needed to leave our room we would have to come to the front desk as asked to be let back in. The staff in the lounge were very friendly. The front desk, not so much.

Was here for a banquet. The food was absolutely great! As were the servers there. Went after to check in, as check in time was 4pm and it was 4:30 but never got a room until 5:40. The bed was clean, the trash cans had new bags but there was debris all over the floors. I wasn't calling the front desk bc of how little they cared about actually getting me into a room I paid for and just kept saying I have to wait! Never again! I only stayed here because of the banquet. I will happily drive elsewhere after an event then ever stay in another holiday inn.

I've stayed here a couple times. Before going in I'd checked online for availability. Expedia showed rooms available. Walked in to rent a room directly. The lady at the front desk stated they were totally booked up. I told hwr Expedia shows theres rooms available. She stated Expedia was wrong and just hasnt taken them offline yet. Walked outside to my car. Reserved a room through Expedia, walked back in and checked in. Needless to say the desk attendant had nothing at all to say. Pretty decent hotel but be very careful of their staff.

Hotel was okay but check in was rough. Staff behind counter were frazzled and not sure what was going on. They dont allow check in until 4 (which is late by industry standards)for regular guests, 2 for IHG members...except nobody got to check in until 4, because they didnt have rooms clean in time to be available, and when we did get to check in, the man helping us (who was great!) had to keep stopping to help the other employees (including his boss), because they were confused and about to double charge another guest. If they could get better staffing and bump up check in times, my rating would increase to a 3 or 4.

We knew the hotel was under construction before we arrived and honestly, it wasn’t too bad. Our room was really clean and comfortable, the staff was amazing and it was conveniently located to Hershey Park. All in all, a great experience and would definitely stay here again

Terrible costumer service, rude staff, “Air conditioning” blows warm air. Room doors do not shut properly, hotel under renovations and not kept up with as it should be, check in times are when the staff feels like it, overall terrible experience would not recommend booking.

We have stayed here before with no issues. This time the shuttle to the casino never showed up and the highway traffic noise was loud. We were in room 348 facing the outdoor pool and highway.

At first I wasn’t really into the hotel but the saloon, restaurant, and breakfast was great. The pool was very nice, clean, and heated. I was disappointed the jacuzzi pool wasn’t working and i wasn't used to a breakfast that wasn’t a buffet. It was very nice though once i got used to it, the saloon let us buy a six pack, they let us take our food to go back to our room with dinner, and our breakfast. Very nice staff and welcoming. Was only a 4 minute drive to the casino.

My stay at the Holiday Inn was disappointing overall. The only positive was that it was a convenient distance from my destination. Unfortunately, several issues made the experience less than satisfactory. The outlets in the room were very loose, making them difficult to use consistently. The hot tub was out of order with no signage or prior notice to guests, which was frustrating. Additionally, breakfast was very underwhelming. We were charged $15 per person for the same basic items that are typically included in a free continental buffet, and the food quality was not great. For the price, I expected better upkeep, clearer communication, and more value for the amenities advertised.

The property was convenient and quiet. Restaurant hours were limited. Breakfast was $14.99 per person. The room door looked like someone had busted the security handle. We requested extra towels and only got 1 full body size with extra floor mats, hand towels, and wash cloths. One bed looked as though there was no center support.

We booked to get together with family who live in Gettysburg. We all went to the Chocolate Factory and stayed there for two nights. The hotel on first glance seems a bit dated, but they are in the middle of renovations and I have to say both of the two rooms we stayed in were clean with fresh paint and new carpet. We were traveling with children and the pool area was large, heated with a hot tub, which we enjoyed and the kids had a blast. Another plus was the restaurant onsite (The Whiskey Barrell, I think) There were eight of us and what a convenience to stay put and enjoy great food and a comfortable place to relax and eat for both kids and adults. The breakfast (kids ate free) was excellent with a wonderful selection of hot food, fruits, cereals, breads, coffee and juices. We had a few really minor issues, which were addressed as soon as we asked. So no complaints and we'd definitely recommend and go again.

The carpet in the room was very old and peeling up off the floor. Pieces of the stairs were breaking off. We did not use any of the amenities. The overall structure was dilapidated. The manager was also not trustworthy. He lied multiple times about not charging me a fee; reassured me that he would take care of it, and never did. So many hotels are offering continental breakfast and this one does not. I would not recommend staying here.

We arrived to our room already occupied by a man laying in the bed. We are very lucky he didn't act under the assumption we were breaking into his room and attempt to defend himself. The only available room left was a single bed room, and we ordered two queens. Truly awful experience.
