We stayed there because they have a handicap pool that my father wanted to use. We told them this when we called and they failed to tell us the pool was empty and under construction. We even all got dressed for swimming - put my father in a bathing suit and went to the front desk to ask about the pool (towels in hand) and they told us how to get to there but never mentioned it was CLOSED - We would have rented the 3 rooms at another hotel for my father’s 80th birthday had we know.

We had no idea when we booked this hotel that it had a truck stop on both sides and a train that ran behind. We thought it might not work for us. But it was quiet enough at night not to disturb us at all. The indoor pool was a bit cooler than I expected but was immaculately clean. The hot tub was wonderful.

Pool was “closed for remodel” gym was no good also closed the second day for remodel. First room I was given was 88 degrees with a broken thermostat. However the front desk exchanged no problem.

Paid 130 for room. Didn’t know until after check in the pool and hot tub were closed for construction so no amenities. The elavator wasnot working for half the night so very disappointed too much money for just a room

It would've been nice to know the pool was under maintenance. We picked this place because of the pool. The room also has been well used (trim coming off, stains, etc)... I expected it to look better than it did. The stay met our needs in the end. We just expected better than what we got. We probably will not stay here again.

One of the reason we stayed was because the property had a pool and hot tub. Both were out of service and we did not know that in advance. It would have been nice to know in advance.

Found someone’s dirty underwear in our bathroom. Not sure how the cleaning service missed them. Breakfast was very limited as more than half the stuff was unavailable along with construction going on. Will not go back.

There was hotel remodeling going on that was not mentioned. Debris and other signs of construction was abundant around the property. There were a couple bugs / spiders observed in my room. I am usually happy with this hotel chain, but not this time.

Stayed one night had a king size bed which was very comfortable for a goodnight sleep. The room was a spacious standard size and very clean! Staff was courteous and respectful! Breakfast provided many options and tasteful. Thank you for making my stay pleasant.

The room we stayed in had a water leak and had a strong mold smell and water seeping around the bottom of the toilet. The room is also across from the maintenance office and an air compressor would go off every 30 minutes or so. The hotel was sold out so there was no other rooms available to be moved to.

Didn’t like the fact that they doubled book our room and other party was allowed to open our room which all of our personal item were available and staff made us feel like it was our problem and not the staff’s problem for doubling up on room numbers.

The desk staff at this hotel were great, but it's in a not-so-nice location near the truck stops and highway. The room was okay but we did have someone who we assume was a staff member enter our room without knocking or anything on the first evening and left quickly when she saw us.

Very nice hotel. Carlos checked us in - what an awesome man! He was very kind and personable. He gave us information on restaurants nearby and things to do in the area, he even walked us to the elevator! Would definitely stay here again.

I called from New York, looking for a room for my son and daughter-in-law due to the power outages and ice storms and from the very first moment that they answered the phone they were wonderful and accommodating. Luckily they had rooms available and my son and daughter-in-law stayed there for a few nights, and it was just perfect for what they needed and only within 10 minutes of where they live, we were able to get some documentation emailed back-and-forth for Credit Card authorizations and unfortunately I forget the woman’s name but she was wonderful. Thank you so much.

Very difficult to access. Right next to major truck station. Only one way in to motel from a one way extremely busy street and the drive entrance is difficult to spot

The hotel itself was really nice— clean and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area directly around the hotel left something to be desired. While it’s within walking distance to a lot of things we wanted to visit (McMenamin’s Edgefield, the outlet mall, and the food cart pod), it didn’t feel entirely safe or pleasant to walk there. There are large, busy truck stops right next to the hotel on both sides, and a bramble-covered property next to a railroad right behind. Nevertheless, because of the convenient location and quality of the hotel itself, I would stay there again— as long as I wasn’t alone.

The room was clean. The guy that checked us in was excellent! Went to breakfast and the breakfast was terrible. They had scrambled eggs with no flavor. No, omelet like on the website shows.The sausage was disgusting and the woman at the front desk appeared to be sleeping.

AC in room didn't work. Weekday morning breakfast was horrible. Pancake machine was shooting out dime size pancakes. The morning person wasn't checking things. We found her and she just turned the machune off instead of fixing the problem. Most of the food was cold. We went up to our room and the elevator stopped on the second floor to let housekeeping off. There was a beer can laying on the floor as she got off the elevator. She looked at it and kept on walking. Very disappointed.

I didn’t like having my walls rattling and loud construction noises in the morning. I was out late and needed the sleep. Also, it smelled like smoke in my room. Breakfast was terrible, the OJ was just orange water. Staff was friendly.
