The property itself was great. The room was clean, the staff was great but they over charged for everything. They have a breakfast buffet that cost $20 but the food was not worth it at all. I've stayed at cheaper hotels and gotten the samething for free. The food was bland and over cooked. They over charged for the drinks they sell at the front desk. They have vending machines that sell the drinks cheaper but they needed to be refilled.

The location was nice and convienent. The pool is rough looking and we had mildew around the shower. The staff at check in was not very helpful, every other hotel I've stayed at has let me split payment between 2 cards because they have limits but she was very rude about it and just charged the card on file without knowing who it belonged to.

Nice hotel. Larger than I expected. We did use the pool and found that it could use some paint around the edge. Very nice hotel. My only disappointment was I expected a tub and shower and only had a shower. Room description on the website said there would be both

Ask about the teams, apparently lots of young ball teams stay at this hotel, you’ll want to be on the 8th floor, limited access, you won’t get to use the pool, you’ll wait for elevators…etc kids have very little supervision. And breakfast, they all have coupons included, lots of luck there….hotel & staff is great…but had we not been on the 8th floor and gone most of the day, it would NOT have worked.

Very disappointing for the price of the room. Pluses: comfortable bed, good TV, AC worked well. Minuses: there was a sodium vapor light below the window that shined all night. Because the drapes didn’t quite close all the way, the room was quite bright at night. The sliding glass door for the bathroom was ridiculous, it was awkward to slide, not enough privacy for those of us who desire that in a bathroom, and if someone used the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light from it lit up the already too bright room. Also was surprised that there was no ventilation fan in the bathroom. The shower was awkward to use, if you didn’t want a cold blast of water, you had to slide around the side of the toilet to slide open the shower door to turn on the water. Also the one bedside clock was odd, it couldn’t be viewed from the bed unless you rotated it, then it would spring back. Ice machine on our floor was out of order.

This property really needs an overhaul. It was dark, very corporate and adequate at best. The shower was spectacular and the linens were excellent. Other than that, not much good. Housekeeping in our room was awful. Nothing was picked up, no clean towels and no coffee. The fact that you have to pay for wifi is insulting. Won’t be staying here again.

This was my 5th stay at the Marriott Cincinatti North - it is my go-to whenever I visit the area. It is centrally located between Cincinatti and Monroe (where my employer has a manufacturing plant) which makes it a perfect home-base. The staff is always friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The gym and pool area are well stocked and clean; I always make good use of them. They have a very large lounge area downstairs with strong coffee and wifi, perfect for morning group work sessions or relaxing in the evening.The on-site restaurant serves delilcious food all day. There's also plenty of other dining options nearby.

My husband and I stayed here after our wedding. The room and hotel were very clean and comfortable. The front desk even sent up a special treat to help us celebrate our big day. They definitely went above and beyond which was a great surprise.

The staff was very nice. The hotel common area are very nice and look modern. The room itself was very dirty. The edges around the ceiling were brown, the bathroom needed a deep cleaning. It was moldy and not very clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom door got stuck with my niece inside and the front desk didn’t answer when I called for help. Room also had only one regular bath towel. I put in a request in for more towels on the bonvoy app, it says they were delivered at a time when we were in the room but they weren’t. It was a pleasant stay but not an 8.2 like the average rating. I’d give it all a 6.5.

In general the hotel is very well maintained including the lobby and hallways. Our room seemed to have some recent water damage and possibly mold issues in the bathroom. The ceiling in the bathroom had plenty of stains and it was noticeable that after repairs were maid there was minimal paint work done.

Overall good stay. I felt that the facility could be better kept. The shower could have been a bit cleaner. There was hair that wasn’t ours in there. There were used towels left in the hallway near a room around the corner from us. Also, there were stains on the walls of the hallway and in the guest room. They seemed to be something easily removed with a wet towel and cleaner.

The room was nice enough, however, the bathroom door was on a barn door style, which was difficult to move. Also the glass doors on the shower didn't line up and so water escaped during a shower. The floor was completely soaked and towels didn't help. The bed was hard as a rock and left us both sore and uncomfortable.

Reserved a King Room but ended up with two queens. Checked in too late to ask for a change. Just needed a place for overnight. Bath was ok but towels were very thin and subpar for a Marriott.

The only problem we had with our stay was maintenance related. The shower door rolled opened on its own for my shower and my wife's shower. Also, the toilet tank was leaking. There was a large puddle of water behind the toilet when we first entered the room.

My husband and I stayed here after our wedding. The room and hotel were very clean and comfortable. The front desk even sent up a special treat to help us celebrate our big day. They definitely went above and beyond which was a great surprise.

The staff was very nice. The hotel common area are very nice and look modern. The room itself was very dirty. The edges around the ceiling were brown, the bathroom needed a deep cleaning. It was moldy and not very clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom door got stuck with my niece inside and the front desk didn’t answer when I called for help. Room also had only one regular bath towel. I put in a request in for more towels on the bonvoy app, it says they were delivered at a time when we were in the room but they weren’t. It was a pleasant stay but not an 8.2 like the average rating. I’d give it all a 6.5.

Location was excellent for finding a later evening dining option and for our destination. They were very flexible with room requests (adjoining) and the hotel was lovely and clean. We happened to stay when a college basketball team was there and the 6 a.m. door slamming on our floor was disruptive when they were leaving (not Marriott's fault that the kids were loud of course). The reason I did not give it 5 stars is that housekeeping knocked TWICE on our door before check-out time (once at 8;30 and we because had gotten in late, we had hoped to sleep in a bit). As Marriott is a world-renowned hotelier, I would think they would have a systematic way for conveying to housekeeping who checked out and what rooms were ready to be cleaned as opposed to knocking on doors.

Didn't care for the lady that checked us in. She was short and rude to us. The room we were given was hot and the maintenance guy that came to our room to check it out, was extremely nice and fixed the heat problem. Bar staff was very nice and over all, it was a nice stay.

This was my 5th stay at the Marriott Cincinatti North - it is my go-to whenever I visit the area. It is centrally located between Cincinatti and Monroe (where my employer has a manufacturing plant) which makes it a perfect home-base. The staff is always friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The gym and pool area are well stocked and clean; I always make good use of them. They have a very large lounge area downstairs with strong coffee and wifi, perfect for morning group work sessions or relaxing in the evening.The on-site restaurant serves delilcious food all day. The property itself was great. The room was clean, the staff was great but they over charged for everything. They have a breakfast buffet that cost $20 but the food was not worth it at all. I've stayed at cheaper hotels and gotten the samething for free. The food was bland and over cooked. They over charged for the drinks they sell at the front desk. They have vending machines that sell the drinks cheaper but they needed to be refilled.
