The property was well laid out suite wise and the common areas were nice but the room itself definitely showing signs of age - cracked tiles in bathroom, faded/peeling wallpaper and paint, etc. Also, the bed's mattress is definitely sagging and probably should be replaced and, FWIW, the bed was incorrectly made - the fitted sheet (or was it the box spring cover?) was used as a top sheet - interesting indeed. On the plus side - breakfast was very good as was front desk service.

Breakfast was great all week (Monday to Thursday) but not on Friday. The breakfast staff were no-shows so it was a limited selection of bagels, toast, yogurt, oatmeal. The pool was clean, the hotel accommodations were excellent, staff was friendly.

Close to the Dayton Mall, restaurants, gas stations. Staff was very friendly. All inclusive breakfast selections were great. Loved all the kitchen amenities in the room. Loved the ice water and coffee in receiption area. One suggestion: need bigger towels for pool area. Towels provided for pool were much smaller than a bath towel. We enjoyed our stay and we will stay here again!

Stopped here while traveling… exterior appearance and photos are a bit deceiving. Upon arrival the automated door was broken. Ok I can deal. But then the elevators are not clearly marked and my husband and I got separated because he went up the wrong elevator. The room layout was nice except the bathroom was part of the closed off room leaving my kids to have to come in our room to use the restroom. The room showed its age by some cosmetic renovations, but wall paper was pealing, there were urine stains on the wall behind the toilet, the ceiling fan was loud and creaky.

Both morning and night staff were great, friendly and helpful! The seating area was spacious, comfortable and we were able to hang out there for hours with friends and family. The room was nice, the bed comfortable and all the amenities for our one night stay. Breakfast was good too!

This place was fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such kindness. Our room was spotless, the pool was sparkling, the bed was super comfy, and breakfast was delicious! The only thing that could have made it better would be a waffle or pancake option for my picky eater. We loved the Wednesday evening drinks and appetizers—it was such a fun touch! We’ll definitely be back!

Kids loved the pool, I loved the kitchenette and large fridge in our suite. All 6 of us and a large dog in a crate fit so comfortably. The breakfast selection was impressive and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel for familoes and people with dogs.

The hotel was dirty in the area going up to the elevator like someone had spilled pop, it was sticky. There were chips spilled in the elevator no one had cleaned as well. The room seemed fine overall until we came back from something and realized there were ants in the room near the kitchen. There was a light out in the bathroom and there were swim trunks underneath the pull out couch left from the previous occupants. Overall one that I would avoid if we came back to the area esp for the price.

The room was so dirty. My dogs find chicken bones and shrimps under the couch !! Under the chair i find so many garbage. I never seen dirty room like this ! It was unsafed. I cut my leg on the couch ….

When I first arrived my reservation was not correct. Had to get that correction The receptionist at the counter seem to have an attitude about that. Then upon a injury to the room. The floors had not been swept The bathroom was still dirty. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes from the person stay prior to us. The balls had not been wiped down the blankets for the pull out couch had not been changed they were so the dirty ones from the person before us. The bathroom curtain was dirty as well. There was mold on the caulking of the bathtub. There was big areas of dirty handprints on the walls in the bedroom. The ceiling fan was covered in dust. Along with one of the ceiling fan blades being of a different color of every other one. The vents in the room were full of dust and debris. So each time the air kicked on you would smell that. Overall very unprofessional and very unclean to charge $300 a night for a room that does not look like it's been cleaned. For let alone I will not be staying at this hotel again. In addition to the issues with the cleanliness of the room. The staff seem to all have a different answer on when breakfast was. Then to find out that the person that was supposed to be there to start breakfast was an hour late each day which cause breakfast to open up an hour late because the people at the counter were new and had no idea what to do. Which due to that forced us to have to go elsewhere for breakfast and spend more money.

Room was super clean. Staff was exceptional. We arrived at 1pm for a 2:40 wedding, they were able to provide an early check-in so we could change our clothes. Very accommodating. Best experience!!

I’m beginning to be very disappointed staying at a Hilton hotel, the hotel needs some up keep. The room had a ton of dust on the lamps, the rack for the wash cloth was almost hanging off the wall the room smelt like cigarette smoke. That I went out to buy products to make it smell some better. It needs an upgrade because it’s beginning to be run down.

First room we were given just reeked of wet dog. There were dogs barking in the next room. The carpet between the living room and kitchen area was ripped all along probably by dogs scratching. I asked to be moved to another room . It was better with much less dog smell . I asked if there was not one of the 5 floors on which pets could not be accommodated and told no. The internet didn’t work in our room. The TV in the living room didn’t work. I was told that there were no maintenance people working in the evening and that someone would look at it the next morning which was useless as we were planning to leave right after breakfast. Every door has paint chips and smudges. It’s a tired old property for sure. Bed was comfortable but pillows a mess of mush.

Great service! Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and hot even right before the breakfast bar was closed. My room was clean. It was, however, unusually noisy, especially at night. Traffic, sounds from the parking lot, the TV in the room next door...and the heater fan was especially loud.

Its was a very comfortable room and place to stay. Breakfast was good as well. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Something could have been better modeling was lifting in a few areas. Didn't affect anything for the stay . Bed was comfy. Would definitely stay there again.

The night we got there they had no way of getting us in our correct room due to internet issues. 4adults and 2 small kids in 1 bed. Moved us later that night to again not our room. The next morning told us they had no other rooms to move us too. Free breakfast had gnats all over the place so we didn’t eat

First, I will say the breakfast was very nice and our family appreciated that. Second our room was clean at arrival, which was good. However, the night we arrived the smoke detector in our room, was beeping and the gentleman at the desk said he could do nothing about it and didn’t know how to change a battery. He gave us a 9 V battery and said to give that a try. It did not work, but thankfully, we were able to disconnect the smoke detector, without setting off alarms throughout the hotel. We just kept the smoke detector unplugged for the duration of our stay. Our room also had a very leaky shower faucet that dripped rapidly all night. Based on the fact they couldn’t solve the smoke detector we assumed they would be able to do nothing about the shower faucet, and simply put washcloths under it so you couldn’t hear the dripping as loudly. There was also a lot of street noise that could be heard from inside our hotel, which I was surprised that you could hear traffic even with the windows closed. Lastly, housekeeping during the stay was nonexistent. Our first morning there as we left for our day I told the front desk that we were out of the room and it was available for cleaning and fresh towels. She told me they wouldn’t be able to clean it until we checked out and if we wanted fresh towels, we could get them ourselves at the front desk. This was not a cheap stay and I thought with it being by Hilton, it would be better. We will not be staying there again.

Went for my families 66th family reunion. The room was nice and comfy, breakfast tasty, and staff were pleasant. Location is in range of many restaurants, the mall, and activities such as bowling alley. Would definitely book again if we go back out that way.

Nearly Perfect! Everything about this hotel is great including the condition, cleanliness, service,,riendliness. The only downfall was very loud road noise. The next time I will ask to be in another section of the hotel.

The room was comfortable and a nice size. The staff was friendly. The location was great. Ticked away but yet close to everything. Shopping, restaurants and activity type places. Didn't have breakfast, so I can’t rate that. But all in all, it was a nice stay and the rate was good for this type of room. Anytime I go back to Dayton I will stay here again.

Bed was comfortable. Linens and towels were like new. Free hot chocolate with marshmallows, chocolate chips and Graham crackers on a snowy night was a real treat. Breakfast was among the best. We always stayed in Homewood.
