Holiday Inn Cincinnati-Eastgate by IHG

The room was disgusting. There was a live black spider crawling on the wall. Dead bugs on the carpet. Food under bed by nightstand. The landline phone has no dial tone. Had to go to front desk to get vacuum. When the worker bought vacuum up for us to use it picked up no food or dead bugs so the worker asked me to get a tissue for her to pick up food. They refused to give me money back for room because I had booked the reservation online.

Room was well mainatained. The gentleman and other staff that was putting out the Contenental Breakfast for the training I was at were very nice.

Room was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The lobby was very pretty and the staff was kind. However, there was an odd smell throughout the entire hotel. The refrigerator in our room was broken and when I picked up the phone to call the front desk the phone was broken too. I went down to the lobby and they were very apologetic and nice and got us a different room. In the new room, the fridge and phone worked but the tub had a leaky faucet, there was a hair in it, and there was a large stain on the carpet. The AC unit turned on and off all night and it was very loud. In the morning we saw a couple spiders in the room. We alerted the front desk and the were very nice but our stay was not great…especially for it being one of the most expensive hotels in that area. Very disappointing.
