Our stay at Vidanta Resort World was a great experience. The complex is beautiful and very well maintained, though we didn’t have enough time to explore everything it offers. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly well training to host making us feeling very special greeting us by names and always showing they were ready for anything we needed. We had dinner at Havana Moon; the food was basic, but the atmosphere was fun. Later, we discovered an outdoor market-style dining area with several options and a much nicer ambiance, which we wish we had known about earlier. Having an Exclusive type of bracelet status, truly enhanced our stay, with access to a beach club cabana and a very convenient driver service available via WhatsApp at any time. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to return with more time to explore the resort. Overall, we really loved our stay at Vidanta Resort World. The scale, comfort, service, and exclusivity made it a memorable experience, even in a short visit. With more time, this resort clearly has so much more to offer.

It’s a great hotel. The kids had fun at the waterpark. It is tough getting around the resort because you have to get picked up by a golf cart every time. It’s a massive resort! The food was pretty good, everything was a little pricey, but it was to be expected.

Tremont, an Italian restaurant, served amazing food, and Alain, our waiter, was outstanding. Breakfast at Quinto, included in our package, was beautifully presented with a variety of options. The Salum area added charm with its lively bars, food stalls, and illuminated cabanas at night. While the resort is beautiful, transportation can be frustrating. The golf cart rides between areas can take 30 minutes round trip, and walking to main areas can take up to 50 minutes. Additionally, our first days were marred by issues like no hot water, which were resolved quickly. Special thanks to Jaz and Emmanuel for making our stay enjoyable. Despite the setbacks, the resort’s amenities, exceptional food, and beautiful surroundings make it worth a visit. We recommend Jungala

Excellent room, wonderful staff. The food was very good. Be aware and able to accept the fact that to get anywhere on the grounds, you need to be driven in golf cart – this includes to a restaurant. Room service is great, the waterpark was fantastic. The beach conditions are not really ideal for swimming, but still beautiful, and the pools are lovely.

Our family of 5 spent 1 week at jungala park hotel and we wish we could have been there more time since the week flew by so fast. The property is huge but the transportation service between buildings makes it all feel small and close. Everyday we had a different meal and we were rarely dissatisfied. The service at jungala park was the best part, it was like something out of a movie with the staff learning all our names and paying extra attention to our young kids.

Fina enorma rum. MEN i hotellbyggnaden finns absolut ingenting, utan man behöver beställa skjuts av en golfbil överallt, till restaurang, pool, beach, parkeringen (om man har bil med sig). Rummen har utsikt rakt in i djungel så man ser inget heller. Otroligt märkligt koncept.

We loved our stay at jungala! The grounds are beautiful, with a very relaxing vibe. The suites are spacious & tastefully decorated with just about every amenity you would need. The staff was attentive to our every need. We had access to the other hotels & pools on the vidante property. We would definitely return here on a future trip to playa del Carmen

A favor, la habitación prácticamente es un departamento (comedor, área de tv, cocina, baño secundario), un plus, el personal de concierge muy amables y atentos, te facilitan las cosas y el parque acuático está contigüo. En contra, no tiene vista a la playa ni restaurant en sitio, sin embargo, esto último no es problema porque todas las instalaciones del resto del grupo de hoteles se tienen disponibles. El club de playa muy agradable, buena comida en todos los sitios que asistimos. Definitivo, regresaríamos.

Disclaimer: went during the busiest week-Christmas-New Years. I called 1800 number to provide them our flight information to arrange transport, only to find upon arrival that it was not arranged. We did manage to find Vidanta van at the airport and talked them into taking us (I had to sign for some charge which was later voided by the front desk staff) So, the resort is not brand new. It is remodeled part of one of their other hotels, Grande Luxxe. Lush tropical jungle-the grounds are great and they did an amazing job with mosquito and other insect control. Beautiful, spacious rooms. The bedroom had comfortable beds/bedding. The living room where kids slept had 2 trundle beds, both pretty hard. It took a while for the water in the shower to heat up, but we knew what to expect and started shower way ahead. The restaurant were plenty, though a bit pricy for Mexico. Front lobby staff was always pleasant and helpful. Edgar, Alejandro and Melanie were on point. We had 4 free tix to waterpark on property-no lines and kids had fun Transportation to and from restaurants/pools/beach clubs were spotty. Sometimes it was instant, sometimes we waited for a golf cart 10-15 minutes. The Beach Club-Expedia pictures wer great, though water in the pool was cold, and first day we waited for 40 min to get seats. Beach was the biggest letdown and disappointment as there was no swimmable beach. It was all rocks, coral and seaweed.

Deixaram um kit de banho com sais, óleo para banho para uso da hidro, outro Kit com itens para cuidados com o rosto. Todos da marca da abelha rainha. Maravilhoso, não há o que falar. A estrutura muito bem cuidada, funcionários muito solícitos e educados. Há toalhas boas, grossas e novas disponibilizadas nas piscinas. A piscina que tem no restaurante do hamburguer super linda com camas e espreguiçadeiras confortáveis. O único tema é que tudo dentro do resort é pago, inclusive o acesso ao parque aquático. Na hora de reservar, não me atentei que ele seria separado. Somos brasileiros, então a conversão em real nos assustou um pouco, tudo com um custo muito elevado. Compramos na piscina 2 hamburguers (bons, não excelentes), 6 cervejas e 1 batata frita por R$ 700,00. Então se vc for ao jungala, esteja atento a isso. Outro tema foi o acesso ao resort, é um complexo, na entrada está escrito VIDANTA, e dentro do complexo tem vários resorts. O GPS te leva próximo ao local, então quanto estiverem indo ou vindo pela estrada fique atendo a esse nome: VIDANTA. Ali vc faz o primeiro acesso e depois te levam em carrinhos de golfe para a estrutura.

Service is out of this world. Staff is trained really well. Rooms are exceptional. Large great layout and modern and super clean. Very surprised on the level of service. It is expensive but you can get common food and drink items in their market store. The water park was nice to visit I wish we had more time to see the evening show

The property is stunning. I really appreciate how they have tried to maintain a more natural setting. The grounds are immaculately maintained. The room configuration was ideal for our family of four. The rooms are generously sized and we and our children had the ability to have private sleeping space, two full baths, and a kitchenette. The water park was a lot of fun for adults and children. It was not overly crowded and the wait for slides was manageable. The park was small enough the tween-aged children could explore as a group while the adults enjoyed the lazy river. However, I would expect that guests of the hotel would at least receive a discount on tickets to the water park, which was disappointing given we could see the park from our room. I would have rated excellent except we had problems at check in which required multiple escalations before being resolved (room access not working, unable to use room charge, no turndown, etc.). We also had errors on our final bill which took an hour to resolve after multiple attempts, and we were mistakenly charged the MXN amount in USD. While corrected, the hotel could provide no evidence that an almost $40,000 USD charge was reversed before I left. The pre-arranged transport for our return was not arranged until we double checked. Overall, we had a very good experience, but I would think twice before visiting again due to the stressful operational challenges which took away from the relaxing vacation I was seeking.

Concierge was incredible, so welcoming and warm, quick seamless check in, excellent bag delivery and the room is perfect!! So much space, super clean, modern design and lots of little touches that make it feel so luxurious. We love it here!!

Great concierge service. Nice large rooms. Clean and well maintained. Good variety if different pools. A lot of activities for big and small people. We had a great stay and would love to come back again.

It has the potential to be amazing but little things got in the way. Transportation from airport was terrible and took many hours. We were quite tired when we arrived only to be placed in a suite that literally was missing the tvs from the wall. They quickly got new tvs hung up, my daughter slipped off her shoes and stepped on the rug to find it was saturated in water (completely flooded). Did no one inspect the room? An hour later we were in a new room and at this point we missed all dining options. In the new room the tv didn’t work at all but we reported it and moved in. It was never fixed during our stay. All of the restaurants were booked ahead so we had to wait in line at the one restaurant that didn’t require reservations. Room service was spotty. Overall the property was beautiful but these things really got in the way.

We just came back from our trip. We have nothing but a praise for the treatment we received during our stay. We were contacted via WhatsApp a week before the trip. Offered airport transfer and answered several questions we had. We arrived at night at chose to stay at the hotel near the airport. Transport was scheduled to pick us up there at 9 AM and by 10 we were already in our suite. Luggage was brought in and fruit and cheese platter awaited in a dining room. We travelled with 2 teenage boys that slept on living room sofas which are twin sized, but small but with a privacy sliding door. They had their own bathroom and we had an en-suite. There are robes and slippers and excellent line of cosmetics that I ended up buying in gift shop to bring home. I always bring my own but loved these. There were 4 concierges available during the day. They were all smiles, very helpful and friendly. There were several of them : Luisa, Jose, Melanie , Lizet and Viridiana. They went above and beyond anything we needed. Walked us into a beach club to reserve cabana, restaurants for best seats and we could txt them any time for anything. We like to walk so we learned the paths the first day to cut across large property for gym, pools, beach or restaurants. Boys tried the extreme rides in water park- fun! There is a choice of quiet pools like Grand Luxxe and Grand Mayan, beach club is newer and pretty but loud good service, Mayan pool available to all where service is lacking a little bit

Once we arrived we were treated like VIPs. Ariana, Jose and Liz as well as all the other staff we encountered were extremely courteous and welcoming. The rooms were very nice and the beds comfortable.

READ the bill on checkout. There was ~500 USD worth of errors which took them 30 minutes to correct. 5 stars for Edgar (Jungala Park Hotel) and Arturo (Gong restaurant). These two went above and beyond. Melanie of Jungala Park Hotel was either super incompetent or untrained. On checkout we noticed ~10000 pesos (~500 USD) worth of incorrect charges (which took 30 minutes to resolve on checkout). That made us late for hotel arranged transportation (part of package) to airport to which the transportation staff not only gave us attitude but said they will not be able to transport us at all. Only after escalating to a manager did they honor their commitment. We felt tremendous inefficiency throughout the property (yes they had much staff but not efficient). Staff responses to queries many times seemed like they were LYING in order to take the easy way out. Our family of 5 made the package reservation which included aqua park access. On the day of access they randomly said only four park tickets were included, sucks to be the 5th family member. Bottom line, it was a ploy to extort an additional ticket which was supposed to be part of the package. All 5 laundry machines of the property were not functioning illustrating poor inspection and maintenance. When we pressed the issue their first response was just pay for hotel done laundry, and only after we pressed that its ridiculous that all 5 machines are non-functional they said "ok we will do your laundry for free".

El servicio de los concierge Melani, Edgar, Alejandro fue excelente. Un hotel muy cómodo, habitaciones amplias y bien decoradas, transportación privada en el complejo, prioridad de reserva en restaurantes y cabañas en las piscinas. Extraordinaria experiencia.

The concierges services that my family got from this resort is 5 stars. We already received the concierges services days before we arrive to the resort. During the stays, we always have a my teenager children felt very safe moving around by themself giving the adult have more time to ourself to enjoy the vacations. I would definitely look forward to back to this resort.

Incredible service, a true five star experience.

Service was on the highest level I can’t say enough about how great it was and the people were. Resort is also incredible. Any stigma with travelling to Mexico was abolished by coming here. Safe. Highest quality of everything. (VIP experience)

We have truly impressed by Jungala. I’ve never met such device level in Northern America, it would be possible to compare only with Mandatin Oriental in Dubai. A Jem in Jungle. We have stayed for 5 days during the Easter, we didn’t go to the same restaurant once, the Butler/concierge of Brenda and Jose service was always shifting expectations. There are now crowds, no lines, you feel this exclusive personal approach and enjoy your vacation. I am someone who lives Océan, and here it’s not really swimmable. But I have never regretted choosing this hotel and would gladly recommend it to picky clients and come back in the future. Absolute pleasure to be here

It was a beautiful resort, a little large, but transportation with the use of shuttles was good. Only issue was some things were a bit expensive, $6.00 CAD for a can of pop for example is a bit much imo.

Na hora de reservar, não me atentei que ele seria separado. Somos brasileiros, então a conversão em real nos assustou um pouco, tudo com um custo muito elevado. Compramos na piscina 2 hamburguers (bons, não excelentes), 6 cervejas e 1 batata frita por R$ 700,00. Então se vc for ao jungala, esteja atento a isso. Outro tema foi o acesso ao resort, é um complexo, na entrada está escrito VIDANTA, e dentro do complexo tem vários resorts. O GPS te leva próximo ao local, então quanto estiverem indo ou vindo pela estrada fique atendo a esse nome: VIDANTA. Ali vc faz o primeiro acesso e depois te levam em carrinhos de golfe para a estrutura.

It’s a great hotel. The kids had fun at the waterpark. It is tough getting around the resort because you have to get picked up by a golf cart every time. It’s a massive resort! The food was pretty good, everything was a little pricey, but it was to be expected.

Review of Jungala Hotel Our 10-day stay at Jungala Hotel was a mix of stunning features and minor challenges. The rooms are clean, modern, and beautifully designed, with comfortable beds and a serene jungle setting that’s perfect for nature lovers. The hotel provides access to an exclusive beach club, though it’s a 10–15-minute golf cart ride from the rooms. The beach club is fantastic—cabana rentals are free (but must be booked early), and the menu offers delicious, clean options. The waiters are friendly, attentive, and quick. While the beach is free of seaweed, it is rocky, with a small area for swimming. My kids enjoyed exploring the rocks and finding sea creatures. The dining experiences were exceptional. Tremont, an Italian restaurant, served amazing food, and Alain, our waiter, was outstanding. Breakfast at Quinto, included in our package, was beautifully presented with a variety of options. The Salum area added charm with its lively bars, food stalls, and illuminated cabanas at night. While the resort is beautiful, transportation can be frustrating. The golf cart rides between areas can take 30 minutes round trip, and walking to main areas can take up to 50 minutes. Additionally, our first days were marred by issues like no hot water, which were resolved quickly. Special thanks to Jaz and Emmanuel for making our stay enjoyable. Despite the setbacks, the resort’s amenities, exceptional food, and beautiful surroundings make it worth a visit. We recommend Jungala

Excellent room, wonderful staff. The food was very good. Be aware and able to accept the fact that to get anywhere on the grounds, you need to be driven in golf cart – this includes to a restaurant. Room service is great, the waterpark was fantastic. The beach conditions are not really ideal for swimming, but still beautiful, and the pools are lovely.

Fina enorma rum. MEN i hotellbyggnaden finns absolut ingenting, utan man behöver beställa skjuts av en golfbil överallt, till restaurang, pool, beach, parkeringen (om man har bil med sig). Rummen har utsikt rakt in i djungel så man ser inget heller. Otroligt märkligt koncept.

We loved our stay at jungala! The grounds are beautiful, with a very relaxing vibe. The suites are spacious & tastefully decorated with just about every amenity you would need. The staff was attentive to our every need. We had access to the other hotels & pools on the vidante property. We would definitely return here on a future trip to playa del Carmen

Disclaimer: went during the busiest week-Christmas-New Years. I called 1800 number to provide them our flight information to arrange transport, only to find upon arrival that it was not arranged. We did manage to find Vidanta van at the airport and talked them into taking us (I had to sign for some charge which was later voided by the front desk staff) So, the resort is not brand new. It is remodeled part of one of their other hotels, Grande Luxxe. Lush tropical jungle-the grounds are great and they did an amazing job with mosquito and other insect control. Beautiful, spacious rooms. The bedroom had comfortable beds/bedding. The living room where kids slept had 2 trundle beds, both pretty hard. It took a while for the water in the shower to heat up, but we knew what to expect and started shower way ahead. The restaurant were plenty, though a bit pricy for Mexico. Front lobby staff was always pleasant and helpful. Edgar, Alejandro and Melanie were on point. We had 4 free tix to waterpark on property-no lines and kids had fun Transportation to and from restaurants/pools/beach clubs were spotty. Sometimes it was instant, sometimes we waited for a golf cart 10-15 minutes. The Beach Club-Expedia pictures wer great, though water in the pool was cold, and first day we waited for 40 min to get seats. Beach was the biggest letdown and disappointment as there was no swimmable beach. It was all rocks, coral and seaweed.

It was a beautiful resort, a little large, but transportation with the use of shuttles was good. Only issue was some things were a bit expensive, $6.00 CAD for a can of pop for example is a bit much imo.

Service was absolutely amazing! Food was delicious at all their restaurants. Had a blast at Jungala water park and Cirque du Soleil with dinner was awesome. The only downside during our stay was the sargassum but, we still enjoyed the other amenities.

Our family of 5 spent 1 week at jungala park hotel and we wish we could have been there more time since the week flew by so fast. The property is huge but the transportation service between buildings makes it all feel small and close. Everyday we had a different meal and we were rarely dissatisfied. The service at jungala park was the best part, it was like something out of a movie with the staff learning all our names and paying extra attention to our young kids.

Its a nice hotel, and the staff are pretty helpful but we found our overall stay disappointing for a number of reasons. We booked because of the waterpark but our 2 year old was not allowed on a single slide, not even if we held him on the baby slide at the waterpark for babies. I’ve never been to a waterpark that strict. He got so upset that he wasn't allowed on anything, we left. The website boasts 20 restaurants, but for dinner we had 2 to choose from. Worst was the value. It cost almost $1000 cad a night, while its nice, its not that nice. And the food and drinks were all overpriced. They weren’t terrible but I’ve had $200 steak, that wasn’t it. The salmon sushi still had a bone in it, that shouldn't happen at a fancy restaurant. We paid for a week and even though we were told we wouldn’t get a refund, we left after 3 days and went and stayed at an all inclusive in Cancun were the food was just as good and the selection was better. I didn't want to waste a whole week there, I would rather pay for 2 vacations.
