Fantastic location, which is truly what this spot has going for it. The room was serviceable, but dated. My biggest issue is while there is an elevator, it’s an old building and my mobility aid didn’t fit through the elevator door without being collapsed a bit. I’m not sure someone using an adult-sized wheelchair would have the accessibility needed at this hotel.

The room was very small, as well as the bathroom. Needed a good cleaning. Very disappointed.

If you are looking for a home base while in NYC, the hotel is adequate if all you are doing is sleeping there. If you are looking for upscale amenities, may want to look elsewhere. Staff was friendly and helpful.

the bathroom, room, and especially the bed were clean and comfortable. when I arrived, the AC was on fan mode, and there was a smoke smell in the room. the fan took care of it in a few hours, but the first impression is that it's clearly an old hotel - the carpet is badly kept, had holes, and the wallpaper with a lot of visible tears. my room was *in* the staircase, meaning I had to access the staircase to access my room, which was weird and made the experience eerie. plumbing is odd, too, it took too long to get hot water on the shower, and only a sprinkle of water came out of the sink faucet (cold - if I wanted hot, I'd have to content to drips). the thing that kept me grounded in the whole experience was the staff, especially Miracle, who was very friendly and extremely helpful at all times. that being said, New York is expensive, and this is what you get for this price (which isn't cheap, but it's NY).

Not my first choice when choosing a place to stay but the reviews made it all worth it. The place was a little outdated but the staff made it that much more enjoyable. Checking in was a little longer than expected due to many quests comimg at the same time but the staff dealt with it in a great and timely manner and was supper helpful. Overall I would recommend staying here especially for the price, considering other places we're alot higher. Thanks again!
