Large clean rooms. Staff had trouble communicating and needed translation apps. Location was very good. Hallways were very smoky and stale smoke smells in the rooms so we needed to change rooms as it was unbearable, despite it being a non-smoking room. I would stay here again because of the location, large rooms and for the amenities - the Cantonese restaurant in the hotel was very good (Michelin guide), and the cafe on the ground floor of the hotel had coffee barista work that was excellent (flat whites, pour overs,

Rooms were clean, very large and well decorated with premium materials like marble and automated toilets. Location was convenient next to Flower City Square, there are cafes and convenience shops next to the hotel. Some rooms and floors smelt really badly of smoking from other guests. We had to change rooms. We expected the hotel staff to speak a bit more English, but both parties could get by with translation apps. Staff did not respond to any of our messages sent weeks in advance on the hotels.com messages for help with restaurant bookings - several messages were sent and ignored.

Great location, good view, good condition overall for property and friendly staff except they don’t speak English but they will either use a translator device or do what they can to understand your request. I’d stay again!
