I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel regarding a reservation that was made without my authorisation. The issue was raised through Hotels.com, who contacted the hotel directly and explained that the booking was not made by the account holder and should be treated as unauthorised. Despite this, the hotel chose to rely strictly on their policy and declined to issue a refund. It’s important to note that the stay never took place, the reservation was not used at all. Even so, the hotel made no effort to review the situation with any level of flexibility or fairness. Situations like this are where you expect a business to apply judgement, not just policy. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Based on this experience, I would be cautious when booking, especially if you expect reasonable support in the event of an issue.
