I never felt the need to write a review before. I’ll just state the facts. The hot tub broke during the stay, while it did work the water was very low and brown. My room had a terrible smell the whole stay. The carpet was wet the whole stay. One day I got back to the room and the toilet had been running all day and so the bathroom floor was wet now too. The room door was nearly impossible to shut. Had to slam with both hands from the outside or kick or hip check from the inside. I had notified staff multiple times of these concerns and got not only no response, but a clear don’t give crap attitude. As I checked out I verified with other customers and their rooms had the same complaints. Not that it bothered me as much but it was dirty and unkept as well.

The pictures are not up to date, the property is extremely run down. The rooms were damp and musty/moldy, I didn't feel safe staying overnight and had to get another room elsewhere.

Rooms smelled like smoke and air conditioning didn’t take the dampness away. Breakfast was nothing special. Carpets were sticky and dirty. Refrigerator was leaking water. There were two tvs, one in front of the other, in one of our rooms. Weird! Bedding and towels were clean, but our bed was slanted and sagged in the middle. Not a very nice hotel.

I camp a lot, so making do and rustic is something I live. This place needs a renovation. Carpet stained and puckered in the hallways and my room. The furniture in the lobby is dingy. Hot tub wasn’t working and they told us the pool was closed in the morning when we went for a swim after seeing people in it the night before. That was disappointing since we were celebrating a birthday and were looking forward to swimming in the morning. Our room felt damp…the carpet and even the sheets. You can tell they are trying to clean what should be replaced. So, at least it felt clean-ish….sort of…. If you just need a place to sleep for a night and you’re not too picky, you can make it work. But I don’t think this place is up to normal AmericInn standards. And that’s saying a lot coming from a wilderness camping girl.

The staff are overwhelmed, so you can see this by their cleaning habits. The corners were caked in dust, the carpets were sticky, stained, and ripped. We had to ask for bedding for the couch in order to use it comfortably. Our room stunk. The pool area was disgusting. The hot tub looks like it has never been cleaned. The walls were coated in a brown film. The pool was starting to look the same. I do not recommend this hotel. And I do not recommend any Wyndham hotels period.
