The property could use a few updates, we were on the second floor and the pop machine was not working and the ceiling in the area of the ice machine was missing. Out blind in out room was broken, but everything else was fine, and clean. The breakfast was the BEST!

The pool was not the best, quite cloudy & the pool room was like a sauna. The pool and workout room were both unclean. Breakfast was mediocre-the bread was stale. Our room was decent but had several things that could have been fixed, like a cracked floor tile and we also had no suitecase stand. I feel like there was very limited staff and that was a majority of why the issues existed. We would not stay here again, as I feel like there are better hotels at the same price point.

There was plenty of parking on the property and the location is close to the freeway and shopping. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the choice of different pillows was unexpected. The only inconvenience was that there is only the front entrance, so if you park on the backside of the building you have to walk around to the front, and the breakfast ends at 9:30 am.

Property definitely not kept up to the standards shown in the pictures. Pool was dirty. Lobby was pretty clean. Beds were clean, room was ok, bathroom was not very clean as there was hair and dust and dirt in all the corners. I took a 10 minute sbower, and it took another 10 minutes for the water to drain.

I’ve stayed at another country by Radisson and had a great experience, but this did not compare. The front desk workers were not very welcoming. When entering into the room I was already disappointed by walking through a dirty door. In the room itself was paint that had already been chipped on the wall, and the water faucet did not turn off completely. The microwave did not rotate correctly because the replacement plate they used was not compatible. Heard every foot step from the people upstairs. Went and told the front desk that they were very loud and asked to change rooms, they told us the people above us was already told on multiple occasions to quiet down and that the hotel is completely booked up so we could not switch rooms. And majority of the outside doors to enter was open for the public (the scanner for the key card was broken) so I did not feel the safest.

Our room smelled like cigarette smoke. Told the clerk; no offer to change rooms. Elevator was not working. Pool was closed. No towels, wipes, or water in the fitness center. On the upside, our bathroom was very clean.

No vibration isolation on elevator equipment. Peeling paint in room and pool. Moldy smell.

Pool was decent

The website stated heated pool and it was not. The water was very cold and we then decided not to use it. Facility is run down and not like other Country Inns we stayed at. Overall very disappointed.

Main issues: elevators broken. All vending machines out of order. Nothing to get to drink except Diet Coke and water. Haha but the room was nice. Clean bathroom.

Run down dirty elevator needs attention the whole place needs to be updated mold in the shower, ac unit had mold. Water stains above the bed. Bathroom door wouldnt latch. Would never book there again. Zero stars

Rooms were pretty gross. A lot of people I was with had mold in their rooms. Other hotels in the area - I would definitely choose somewhere else

The bed was very comfortable, the toilet had an enthusiastic flush!, the shower was good. The sink drained poorly and the place is "dirty around the edges" - the elevator, hallways, outside edges of tub and bathroom.

Our room looked like the sheets were just thrown over after the last people had left. Did not look clean. Then the tv did not work and they moved us to another room. This room was just as bad if not worse. There was pair a underware under the bathroom sink and the toilet was dirty. The carpet was all stickey and the bathroom shower light and fan did not work in either bathroom. Will never stay there again.

I was disappointed with how dirty and run down the room was. Dust on the surfaces, floor lamp area had not been vacuumed or dusted. Shower curtain had a black stain and smelled bad. Both table lamps didnt work. I called housekeeping to tell them about the lamps...they never came to look at them. I paid $400 for two nights and it was not worth it. I can handle an old building but not the lack of housekeeping.

Our room was DIRTY. Dirty hand prints on the wall and doors. Would NOT stay there again.

Sadly this property needs a major cleaning and some repairs. Upon walking in the tiles are all busted and cracked. The grounds were not kept outside with overgrown bushes and weeds. From the outside you can see damaged window coverings. The furniture is old and worn from the lobby, office, and the rooms. Tiles in room were cracked and coming off the wall in bathroom. Our toilet was not secured down. The room did not appear cleaned only the sheets were clean (thankfully) and the trash cans were emptied. We rented two rooms at a premium price which I would not do again.

This property is dingy. We were there 4 days and i never saw any cleaning. There was trash and debris in the halls the entire time. No one ever cleaned them. There was dirt and dust in the room. Someone's fingernail clippings on the bathroom counter. We didn't have any towels in our bathroom. I had to go to the front desk and ask for some. There were cigarette burns in the bedding. Our remote to the tv was missing pieces. The mini fridge was dirty. Didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a long time. Only saw teenagers working there. Didn't see an actual adult working there the entire time. The maintenance guy made a mistake and flooded part of the second floor. I would recommend just paying a little more and staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the street. I wish I would have.

The floor of my room was absolutely filthy, and caused me to have athletes foot. Absolutely disgusting. Never again.

Check in was fine. Our room was dank; carpeting felt damp when walking barefoot. Ew! Bathroom door would stick and was difficult to open. Mildew and rust around bathroom door and mildew in corners. AC unit was noisy; rattling and whining. Bed was comfortable but pillows were uncomfortable. Overall, a disappointing experience given the price we paid. Would not stay there again and would not recommend.

We asked for another room or shade to be fixed. Shade would not pull down. The desk agent said no they didnt have any rooms or people to fix shade until after we left. Offered no other solution. So we checked out and drove home missing one night of our vacation. Unacceptable.

I wasnt bad. Its old but clean. A family with kids were directly above our room, the kids jumped on the bed and onto the floor until 2am. The should have been on b a botton floor. Very noisy people.

We stayed three nights and overall it was okay. It was the cheapest option and only real issue was noise level. You need to stay on the top floor or pray no one is in room above you. You can hear every step taken. Bathroom light needed to be a bit brighter.

Overall the place was fine for 2 guys, but there are clues everywhere that this is an old building that was remodeled probably 10 years ago. Our room literally had a ceiling (above the shower) that was about to cave in. For real. Large crack from water dripping from bathroom on floor above. How the property manager doesn't know about this or doesn't care is unbelievable. The room should not be rented until that's fixed. It's about to cave in and it looks terrible. There was also black mold forming on the caulk lines around portions of the shower base. Housekeeping and maintenance not doing their jobs. The bathroom has no ventilation whatsoever. When you take a shower and it gets steam in there - it stays that way for like 20 minutes. Very frustrating. Like a steam room. There was no soap at the sink or anywhere. We had to use the shower soap (body wash) to wash our hands, and naturally the shower body wash bottle was nearly empty. It was empty after our 2 day stay.

Spacious king room with refrigerator. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately, could not get local channels on the TV after much time spent. Did get Amazon prime. Cover missing from thermostat. Tub stopper didn’t stop.

This hotel definitely needs updating. Walked in to check in and someone at front desk complaining there was dirty towels left in their room and standing water in their sink. Stains in carpet. All over musty smell. Mattress on bed, even with the comforter on, you could tell it was sagging where people had laid. Shower curtain ripped. QR reader for TV channels didn’t work, TV volume was preset at a max volume, which is a nice feature not to disturb adjoining rooms, but couldn’t hear it at max level over the ac unit. Curtains/blinds torn. No USB ports to plug in phones to recharge. The room was clean but just needed updating and a new mattress and TV (maybe a smart TV?) The landscape surrounding the entire building overgrown and weedy.

Even though the bed was comfy half the lights in our room were burnt out, the walls and half wall were dirty, the shower was broke so water sprayed in different directions, weird white stains on the chair, cracks at the seam were the ceiling meets the wall and the patch they used when apparently someone had opened the door to hard was not even paintes the same color as the walls. Fir the price you paid for the room the room could have been better. I know this is an older hotel but the maintenence of the building is lacking. The girl who worked the front desk waa very polite and nice.

The TV in the room does not work; The bathroom shower was never able to temper the water, only water that was too hot.

Blinds in room broken , no curtains to block out light. However the bed was very comfortable

The work staff does all they can to help when things don't work in your room. Our television didn't work when we checked in and the night staff tried everything, in addition to supporting other customers who were also having trouble. This staff was supportive and apologetic. The problem was with the manager and staff who never reached out to apologize, even though we needed to share with the front desk twice to get someone to make our television work for our second night, the person who finally came stated they technically weren't on the clock, and we had to ask for the guaranteed refund when we checked out. I am not a difficult customer and understand that things can happen, but that no one reached out to us to apologize, and we had to ask for a refund that was promised was disappointing. This could be a great place to stay, but I would not recommend it.

I booked two rooms and canceled one through Expedia as directed by the front desk. Everything seemed fine at the time, but a month later I was unexpectedly charged a cancellation penalty. When I contacted the property, they refused to reverse the charge. This experience felt unfair and left me questioning their practices.

We arrived 15 mins b-4 check in and wouldn’t let us in 15 mins early unless we paid an additional $25.00. The staff at check in obviously hate their job.

Staff members were very helpful and friendly very patient and polite Thank you very much!

This hotel meets my basic standards of "clean, safe and secure," but the service is among the worst that I've had the displeasure of experiencing in recent history. It started at check-in, when the person checking us in seemed to not understand that we had two rooms on the reservation. We clarified that and got checked in. We then had to check out and back in the next day (we needed to extend the trip last minute so booked another reservation rather than having to chancel/remake the reservation we had) and once again, the person had trouble understanding that there were two rooms, even when shown the reservation info, and the response was "call Expedia." That's when we realized that there was a different name on the second room and he gave a sarcastic "oh why didn't you say so," clearly he was already looking at the info on the screen and couldn't be bothered to say "is there possibly another name on the reservation?" Also, our rooms were not cleaned/serviced the entire time (4 nights) we were there - nightly or every other is standard unless there's a sign or you're advised otherwise, we just got back late each night to find the same dirty towels we'd left in the morning. We ended up getting more towels from the front desk, but what a pain. The price/convenience of location is good, and at no point was I concerned about getting robbed or catching bed bugs, but they could at least pretend to want the business.

I have to say this worst stay we’ve had. When we checked in, the young girl at the front desk was more interested in talking to a boy that was there than checking us in. She argued that I had to pay through Expedia, even though my reservation clearly stated to pay at the property. When we went to go to our room, the key didn’t work. Mind you we had family that was staying there and had the same problem as did other people we observed checking in. I went to get a new key, no apologies. When we got into our room, we were horrified to see there were several places that the ceiling was getting ready to collapse, including a corner that appeared to have mold. In the bathroom, there was caked urine on the toilet seat and feces under the rim. I called the front desk to report all the issues we were having, there were no other available rooms. They gave us a $50 discount, but I would rather have not stayed there. I’m suspect that the sheets were not even changed. Bathroom door did not shut all the way and there was gum on the ceiling. The girl working the front desk then told me that I needed to bring down my credit card because, surprise, I needed to put one down to pay for our room. I reported how disgusting the bathroom was; she said she’d clean it that did not happen.I am so disgusted and disappointed by our stay. It was close to $300 without the discount. I don’t know that I will ever stay at another property under this brand name. Stay away!

No one at front desk, just a sign they stepped away and a phone number. Called several times and finally got checked in. Window shade didn’t work and moved to another room. Key didn’t work. Finally got that fixed.

Staff was very friendly & allowed us to check in early without notice. Kitchen staff was very attentive during breakfast.

Staff were friendly, however, there were a number of issues with the hotel. 1. Broken toilet seat in public bathroom (down the hallway, past the lounge.) 2. No soap in public bathroom 3. Some breakfast entrees (sausage, eggs) were over an hour late. 4. Staff sat on the front counters 5. Sign reading that desk staff was away helping guest was permanently posted on front counter. It was difficult to tell if the staff member was in the back room or if they were truly away from the desk helping a guest. The staff member was in the back room on 2 out of 3 occasions. 6. No trash bag in dining area waste basket. People started to throw trash away in to unlined basket. A trash bag was added about a half hour later. 7. Shower faucet in room 223 leaked

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Could just use a little touch up cosmetic wise. Great location close to beach, only 5 min drive.

Excellent customer service, friendly staff, great hot breakfast, comfy beds and pillows and the room was clean!! Its Close to downtown shopping and beach! We would definitely satay again!

We were expecting a little bit nicer of a hotel for the price we paid. The breakfast was very mediocre. The room wasn’t as cleanly as we would expect. The location is very nice and close to downtown south haven.

Room was clean. Receptionist was pleasant. Breakfast was big disappointment. Biscuits and gravy or waffles was on the menu both days of our stay, no protein.

The room was clean. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Everything was good except the service and food available at breakfast was lacking. Apparently they were short of help. At 7:30 am the hot breakfast was gone and was not refilled before we left a half hour later. There were no spoons or knives. We ate instant oatmeal with a fork.

I Like the location to south haven, but the hotel needs work. Outside needs to be painted it remodeled. Our room bathroom was not real clean. The staff left half used shower gel tube. Floor was not clean. Other peoples hair on floor. Dirty grout around tub. Drain stopper broken. Doors scuffed up in need of paint throughout hotel. Just needs a handyman and some pride in how it looks. Breakfast was cold biscuits and gravy. Disaster for a diabetic.

The breakfast was terrible. No eggs, tough biscuits, cheap plastic silverware.

The beds and pillows were comfortable. Hotel was old, carpet and bathrooms need updates. The so-called breakfast was disgusting. Eggs runny and cold. Couldn't keep the coffee filled with the small number of people there. Won't stay there again, way Overpriced!!!

No room cleaning unless you asked. Breakfast was bad. Sediment In pool. Floors and bathrooms dirty in room on arrival. Paint smudges in room and caulking off tub. Front desk didn’t know rooms that were ready on arrival.

The property was clean and bedding adequate. Did not use pool but it looked fine. Breakfast was sufficient although I would not call it special. Had no problems with staff.
