Royal Inn Hotel

They put me in a side Hall! That was in a construction area! Constant Banging! They didn't speak english! My Freaking Door didn't even have a peep hole!! Just a hole! And a lock that didn't work!!!

The only thing that was annoying was. That wasn't a remote for the t. V. And there was a lot of what sounded like Knocking or tapping noises. I don't know if it's just because it's newly renovand they haven't really finished renovating completely or what it was, but it was a ittle odd. In a little nerving at night. Also, the water in the shower would not get hot at would go from warm. To cold constantly, like the water would go back-and-forth between hot or between warm and cold. But like I said, I don't know. That's because they're still renovating property or what? But that was very aggravating.

No ice, tv did not work, the shades did not close all the way down, no iron

Hard to find. No carts to transport suitcases etc., Automated check in system was difficult to navigate one online person and someone behind the counter were needed to operate it. No bedside table. Gross dirty walls, lots of dust, ceilings apparently leaked from rain or other sources of water that drained down the walls.

Which was super awkward and very un personal. It's a video chat type of thing where a live person on a screen helps you. At one point I had to give documents to one of the men behind the window. It was awkward and super ick! Place was being fixed up plastic covering carpet in hallways . Construction noise one morning and room smelt of fresh paint it was really strong! NO maid service during stay asked to have room cleaned it was not. Had to ask for fresh towels and that was an argument because they were" already in our room from the cleaning lady" So that was a discussion. We were assured we were gonna get someone in there the next day we did not. Broken down cars in parking lot Uhal rental trucks parked all over the place as that is part of their business as well. COULD BE A NICE PLACE But they need to clean it up. Gave 2 stars because I actually stayed in a. 1 star place before and this was a step above!

This was the filthiest place I ever been in my life… the room was not clean, smelled like an ashtray, seen mouse droppings, garbage was piled up by all the exits, and it was the creepy to were it felt unsafe… Please do not stay here if want a SAFE and CLEAN place to stay… it was so bad I left to find another room… The Royal Inn was a ROYAL pain in my @$$

In the few days I stayed there just recently. I have been eaten alive by bedbugs. The rooms are disgusting... These people don't even know how to mop a floor clean. You will ruin your socks and shoes and clothing just walking around in your room.. The cleaning staff is so incompetent, I gave up, drove to menards and bought my own mop, disinfectant, and bucket and decided that i needed to take matters into my own hands. the female senior staff receptionist is manipulative and untruthful.. raises fees, gas lights you for being upset about the hotels terrible conditions... It's an absolute S show over here... I am covered in head to toe with bug bites... I have pictures and videos to prove everything.. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. And I mean that with all my heart. I left early and decided to sleep in my truck.. I didn't get much sleep. And it was very uncomfortable but at least I was not getting chewed up by bugs... I am extremely upset with these people. And I will be demanding an entire refund.. If not I am going to sue them. Staying here actually caused damages. They will never get my business again.

Either leaves or bugs in the air conditioner, not sure on that one. One of the pillows had a bloodstain on it and upon request they said they didn't have anymore to replace it with.

Deadlock wouldn't lock, non smoking room smoke detector non-functional and room smelled extremely strongly of smoke, no toilet paper or Kleenex, holes on the curtain, electrical wall box literally hanging out of the wall, inside of the microwave rusty and caked with food, mattress is a ripped up foam pad, bath paint more chipped than paint, footprints (yes, footprints) on the ceiling, large drill holes in the counter top, burned out lights, one light that wouldn't turn off and contained to flicker, large pile of ramen noodles (I hope) spilled on sidewalk outside the door. I was blown away. Didn't sleep there. Instead just paid for it, found a $75 alternative hotel and felt blessed that I never have to stay in a place like this.

OMG, this place was the worst place I ever stayed. The room was dirty , shower moldy, sink lose, roaches crawling, no smoke detector, and lots of suspicious activity. The room is cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. While checking out we had to wait for them to inspect the room (lol) to get the deposit back and he had nerve to complain by saying it's ok but not ok. Never again

This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at using Hotels.com. It was roach invested and the sheets on the bed were not clean. I highly recommend that Hotels.com remove this hotel from your website. I am a business woman and me and my organization were very disappointed with the service, cleanliness of this hotel. They treated me as if I was this homeless low income customer. I respectfully ask that hotels.com refund me my money for the stay at this hotel and compensation for the inconvenience. I left my clothes and computer equipment in my car and slept in the chair that was in the hotel room to ensure that roaches would not get into my luggage nor my computer bag.

Infested with roaches

Roaches in the bathroom, and bed looked like they didn’t bother changing sheets after the person prior. Stains on sheets. Dusty.

Roach infested wouldn’t give us our deposit back because of dirty laundry saying we stained everything but it was dirt from there nasty ass floors

I DIDN'T like how the room was not clean, walls dirty, property smells bad. I requested a room change and that room had the same problems, heat not working, hot water not working. My 8yo daughter and I had to take a shower with cold water and sleep in a room with no heat. They never came up to clean except if you ask the front desk. The fact i had already paid online for the booking , i knew it was going to be a poroblem to get my money back. This hotel should be shut down, so many codes of standard is broken.

For a quick stay it’s fine but it didn’t have hot water . I tried at night and in the morning and it continued to run cold .

Rooms are very spacious, but there is a large open space with no sitting chair or desk. The pillows on my couch are bigger than what is on the beds. I hate the zoom-bot check in.

My first room was not to our satisfaction, stained pillows, stained mattress, air conditioner didn't work etc. However the manager Ali helped us out. Staff was nice and courteous, the 2nd room a deluxe suite was much much better than the first. We only ended up staying 3 days but it was nice. Do pay attention that there is a 50 dollar deposit at checkout, it's not obvious on the booking site but it is hidden in the details. Do try to rent a deluxe room if you're not too tight on money you'll be much happier with the room. The area around the hotel is definitely rough and there are some rough looking folks around the area as well.

It was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. We did not have a working toilet. We did not have lights that worked in the room. There were roaches and the rug smelled like mold, and the staff was horrific and tried to gouge us for twice the amount we paid through Expedia.

Their check in Kiosk crashed while checking in. The first room i was booked was already occupied. They also didnt refund my deposit. This place should be shutdown.

Front desk employee was a kiosk and a webcam, screaming outside the door, employees were rude.

we stayed 2 nights, upon first checking in i had troubles with the key card so i went to the front desk to seek help & the man working talked to me like i was stupid and had never unlocked a hotel door before. after he got it open for me, he snapped at me saying it wasn’t that hard. the next day, after returning from the day’s activities, my key card did not work again. i went to the front desk, and a staff member casually told me they had deactivated my key card because of “chargers plugged in”???? i didn’t realize i wasn’t allowed to leave my phone charger plugged in but whatever, she gave me a new one. furthermore, the shower was disgusting— there was hair on the walls and brown spots all over. the walls are paper thin, i could hear yelling and talking and every single noise under the sun at all times.

If I could give it a minus 5, I’d give it. I made the reservation through expedia and paid for it, there was no other fee disclosed on my reservation. Upon arrival, a $50 is demanded, otherwise you cannot check in and what you paid is not refundable. The people you talk to are in India… they are on a screen and they just repeat the same crap over and over… they are useless. Bedroom is nice, but there is no comforter, no cover… just the sheet cover. Upon check out, the deposit that was promised to be “returned in the morning”, was in fact not returned… and God knows if we will ever see it. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!

There were a lot of termites in the bed, and they crawled all over your body, keeping you awake. If you extended your stay, you had to leave to check in. Otherwise, if you didn't leave, you had to pay an extra $80 when the room was $49. There was only boiling hot water, and it usually smelled strongly of marijuana. No one was laughing at this experience.

This place is nothing like the ad or website. It's so gross and stinks. There are men loud and drinking outside. I'm scared for my safety and health. Such a waste of my money.

We got there to check in and they told us that they didn’t have a reservation under our names. Same happened to another couple that was with us. We had to talk with someone via zoom. The guy sitting at the front desk was so rude to us. Hotel reeked of weed. Obviously they don’t care and or have the right address.
