Super 8 by Wyndham Chicago/Rosemont/O'Hare/SE

Did not like Parking area.

Toilet seat shifts 3" on both sides, changed room now tv remotes does not work, so shown a hidden on off switch with 2 complaints. parking spaces intersect so difficult to get out of or totally blocked, nasty frozen hard boiled eggs or egg discs for breakfast, stick with yogurt or very small juice 1/4 cup. Very pleasant desk staff, thank you.

Room was clean and quiet. Highway noise was not audible and bathroom blower was not audible to anyone in the adjoining bedroom. It was a surprise that, for just a two-night stay, housekeeping came in and cleaned and changed everything after the first night even though we had not requested that. However, some items were not up to par: the hot water was not really hot enough, the hair dryer was inoperable, microwave had to run for 6 minutes to warm one cup of coffee, and the refrigerator needs a shim under one of the corners as it rocks on the floor when you open/close it. The cooler was set at a freezing 61 degrees and was blowing feverishly when we arrived. We re-set it to something more comfortable but housekeeping set it back to 61 after their first-night housekeeping! There is only one (Indian) restaurant within walking distance, but the lobby has brochures for many other local eateries that deliver. Free breakfast was simple but good, including waffles! Not a lot of variety but it is a small motel so wouldn't expect a large spread. Coffee in lobby upon request. Unfortunately, no elevator for carrying heavy luggage up to 2nd-floor room, but it is an older building.

The front desk guy was super nice and helpful! The room was ok and did the job. Parking was convenient. Noise level was so so but did not affect my sleep. I slept good! No coffee machine in the room, but there is coffee in the breakfast area. Breakfast was good. All in all, it was good for the price.

Horrible location... there's only one entrance and when it's Rush Hour there's a line of cars a mile long and you have to pick your way through them to get into the property that's if can find the actual driveway...bare bones rooms...but its a super 8...

Everything was great however i had to pull out the air filters and clean them myself. I don't think the hotel realizes this is a fire hazard as well as a hazard to those with allergies and asthma. Otherwise staff was pleasant and quick to assist. A little noisy on the first floor due to all the vehicles in the parking lot. However i would still go back if i needed a cheap hotel in a pinch.

Regular Wyndham. Decent continental breakfast. If you have a vehicle about 25-30 minutes to Downtown Chicago main attractions. Save money definitely on stay,15 minutes from the airport. Staff is very accommodating. We checked out in the morning and the gentleman in charge agreed to keep our bags for no charge till evening. We picked the bags before going to the airport around 5pm.

Good clean

The room was horrendous. The carpet is dirty, the bathroom has a lot of mould. I recommend no on stay at this hotel.

Worst hotel ever. Hard to believe it was a branded hotel. The mattress was stained, the blanket had burned holes, the walls were scuffed up, lights were out. I needed to call the front desk due to noisy neighbors and the room phone did not work! The rubber matting on the outside steps was partially missing and i stumbled down the stairs on exposed screws. The only bright spot was the guy working on the cleaning crew - very helpful - they need to give him a proper uniform so he looks like he works there. I am pissed that such an awful hotel was avaiable in hotels.com. Clearly there are no standards at this hotel, and it was a waste of money. You dont have to take my word for it, I took pictures. And have more than I can submit in this app.

The carpet was very dirty. The furniture was stained/broken. I felt very unsafe in the room as it was open to the outside and it is located on a busy intersection. I had to ask about the wifi, and I was charged $50 more than what was advertised, to $123 which they said was a deposit if anything was destroyed, but it was never credited back onto my card. Also, the water pressure was so low and the tub was slippery. I also smelled of the room odor the next day.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. The room was stinking so bad, bathroom was nasty, it’s not worth for the price, their breakfast fast place was so small and it’s very cheap food so please find a better place for the same price. I wonder they even change the linens overall it was a horrible stay here

Dirty sheets, dirty bathroom, run down, broken TV, smelled bad, freezing cold room. Spend a few extra dollars and stay at a better place.

Unfortunately, they do not do a good job of cleaning. I don't like giving bad reviews, but the room we were in had semen all over the paintings at the head of the bed, on the curtains, and many places at the metal frame at the bottom of the beds. It was disgusting...

Where to begin! Daytime customer service was great. Nighttime employee not so much!! Carpet was NASTY! Left ur feet black! I think I would have been cleaner walking through mud! Defiantly could tell up keep just wasn’t a thing! Maybe carpet clean! Now customer service! Joke! Apparently each room only has 2 pillows!! Asked for another one cause they were flat as a pancake! Yea! HARD NO! I was told “we only have enough for 2 per room” The next night I asked for a clean towel around 9pm when I got back from my day. House keeping didn’t provide any…I was told I could have one “tomorrow at 11am” when house keeping gets in…when I pointed out I check out at 11. He then said “let me see what I can do” proceeds to look under the desk as if that’s where he was gonna find them!!! Comes out the side door and hands me 2 damp towels! I don’t know where he found them but I wasn’t using those! I wasn’t expecting the Ritz’s Carleton! But I’ve stayed in a lot better places! If you don’t care if you’re well rested or clean, book a room! Not kidding one walk across the room and your feet will be nice and dirty!

There for a nearby convention. Staff very accommodating. Walls proved to be a little thin first night with arguing next door. Next night was fine. Nice neighborhood adjacent to walk in. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. Room definitely dated and not the prettiest.

It was same as usual. Half the light bilbs dodnt work . The tv wouldnt connect to the wfi so i could link my tablet and phone ,so again i wasnt able to stream anything to watch .

Staff was very nice and the room had everything we needed! No complaints. The bed was very comfy for 3 nights!

It served its purpose visiting family and having our own place to sleep. The room was spacious, ac worked great. The breakfast had everything you need for a quick breakfast and a great addition. The rooms need updating but for the price they charge it’s understandable not to make the investment. Safe and convenient location!

They use pictures of their King Suite for all their king room listings. Also with the queens. Shows accommodations that are not present in the room. Staff was unfriendly and not helpful. They knew this was happening as they already had the line if the description is accurate. Foreigners taking advantage.

Front desk is terrible

Registration and check-out are flawless.

The motel is fairly close and convenient to O'Hare airport. But it is quite isolated, with almost no nearby residential and commercial development. From the outside, the property is well lit and appears decently maintained. Our room was a different story. There were dead cockroaches outside and inside the door, and inside the rug was very worn and stained in multiple areas. The bathroom was outdated and my bath towel was threadbare and had dirt spots on it. Basically, the room need a deep clean, and new carpet and towels. And an exterminator. Sorry for the bad review. I have stayed at other Super 8 motels that were very clean and well maintained, but this one is an outlier.

Location of the hotel was central to many key parts of the city. Only 20 mins from downtown,the entertainment district and close to the Airport. Hotel was clean, but not overly modern, but had nice spacious rooms. Staff was polite and efficient.

This location was convenient to downtown and very location we where visiting.

I had a positive experience overall. The management was friendly and straightforward. It’s definitely a “you get what you pay for” kind of place—simple but clean. The cleanliness was great, though there were a few building maintenance issues. The breakfast was basic, but I’d stay here again.

It sreams motel at utmost. Clean. But areas being held together by putty. Ice bucket had mold in it. Towels although claimed clean was grunge Free breakfast was a struggle to consume. Waffle mix or syrup was spoiled or sour. Staff was polite helpfull.

First time staying here and was pleasantly surprised! Our room was very clean and fairly well maintained, no real issues or complaints here at all. Was expecting more noise given the location, but found it quite peaceful with only the sound of light traffic or the occasional overhead plane from the nearby airport. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was well stocked and well organized. Would consider staying here again. Thank you!
