Great Place to 1 or 2 nights, close to Sarasota, Bradenton Downtown, outlets. Included pool, outdoor seating and access&transportation to Beach club with Pool (no beach!)and many amenitites.

Love that there are six pickelball courts here and two great restaurants. We arrived late but no need to leave here

My problem with this hotel was a resort fee of $50 per night and $27 for self parking. These hidden fees are ridiculous. I told the woman at the desk I had no time to enjoy the resort so why am I paying for it. Why do we have to pay for self parking? PLEASE STOP ROBBING PEOPLE!!!

Over priced, had to pay for resort fees which we did not use. Also had to pay for parking.

I stay frequently at Marriotts and I did not like that there wasn't a microwave and no business center. Made it very inconvenient for my longer stay. They staff was very nice.

Staff made us feel very special, pools were amazing, parking was very convenient, spa was phenomenal!

Nice place to stay alot of amenities! Pool, small beach with white sand, sports, gym and goodservice. The resort fee are alot, $25 a day for self parking is crazy in addotion

Brand new hotel modern and clean 5 star hotel, great cocktails on the menu! Great roof top views from bar and restaurant, would pick staying here again, eco friendly that don’t use plastic straws for drinks and hope other hotels follow , great pool area with comfortable loungers

Wonderful experience!! Hotel was clean and inviting. Staff was great! So friendly and accommodating. Pool at the hotel was nice and refreshing. Hope to be back soon!

Is a new and clean property

Nice place, but very expensive. They should not charge you $25.00+tax, to park in the lot that is not covered or supervised. It’s just a regular parking lot like you would find at a Walmart. Food was okay, but again very expensive. Housekeeping needs to improve. We had to ask for toilet paper and tissue severals times while we were there because housekeeping either didn’t clean our room or wouldn’t leave any extra behind. We left everyday for several hours so that our room would get cleaned and either it wasn’t or once we had to leave again at 4:30 pm so they would. We were very unhappy about it and said something, but it was never resolved.

This hotel and resort was perfect for our long stay. It was clean, centrally located to everything we needed, friendly staff and great amenities. We will be staying here every April when we visit FL. Thank you for setting the bar high because all the other lodging options in this area are very questionable.

The room was beautiful! Lots of light, a large window. Everything was clean and new. The staff were very attentive and helpful. It’s so new, that I had a hard time finding the entrance, my gps took me around in circles until I finally found it. That was the only negative thing about my stay. And the food was excellent!

Nice hotel but definitely not a resort feel. The extra fees are expensive for what it is. Rooms are spacious bed is uncomfortable and pillows really lack.

This also gave up 1 room with 2 king beds. We have a very tall adult autistic son that travels with us. And he won’t stay in unfamiliar surroundings alone. We usually have to sleep in queen size beds when traveling. Thank you!!!

The Mariott Palmetto looks new and modern inside, with ample parking in the lot. My only complaint is the brightness of the room. The window, even with the shade pulled, allowed a lot of light in all night and there's a light in the bathroom that is illuminated 24/7 with no way to turn it off or easily block it. Front desk staff members were friendly and helpful with area restaurant recommendations.

We spent our wedding night here, it was pretty good experience overall. Because its a “resort” its overpriced. Theres a free breakfast hidden in a hallway past the paid breakfast, which is severely understaffed. It took forever to get service and the food is also overpriced. But the beds are pretty comfy and the shower is spacious. We wanted something a little nicer for our wedding night so this wasn’t a bad option just wish things were priced a little better if you’re not using the “resort” features. Since its located right next to the Manatee County convention center I assume they wanted to milk some cash from whoever is attending the conventions. Also a lot of cross country sports teams there so expect a bunch of teenagers running around.

The place was a very nice hotel, but we were on the 7th floor and there is a restaurant right above us and they closed at 10 every day and you could hear them moving chairs around and when they used the water, the pipes rattled. The only other thing was the price of the meals. We thought that it was pretty pricey for fried chicken one evening. People were very nice and friendly and always greeted you with a smile and spoke to you. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at the Palmetto Marriott Resort and Spa, despite all the rain. It was very clean, comfy beds and pillows …it was a very much needed and received time to be able to rest and relax. We are looking to plan our next visit already!!!!

Amenities were nice, room clean and quiet

Property was very nice and new. Staff werent bad but had issues ordering food in the morning then our fire alarm went off at like 1030 at night waking my kids and a security gaurd had to come in our room to check that we werent smoking which we clearly werent. When i brought then up at the front desk the next morning they just brushed it off like it wasnt a big deal that a fire alarm malfunctioned in our room and then we were accused of smoking untill they came in to visbly see we were not. Had they tried to make amends in some way for there alarm malfunctioning maybe my reciew would have been diffrent.

Just had a terrible experience with PARKER from the front desk. He is extremely rude and does not know how to speak to customers. Oh, and let me add, he hung up on me as well. I had a great experience while at the hotel, excellent service “during my stay”, and the room was clean. My issue with the hotel was that they charged me $76 for parking and a resort fee, which I was totally unaware of. When I checked in, someone should “verbally” told me that I am getting charged this fee. Just don’t take my credit card and make it seem like the card hold is for incidentals (which is the case for most hotels). PARKER says it’s on the welcome letter they give you. Who in the hell reads those?!! Even though I don’t feel like I should pay for parking in an open parking lot that is not secured anyway, overall I don’t mind paying whatever fees, if I’m told UPFRONT. Just be aware folks they are going to authorize your card for $100, but you will only get $24 back with the charge for the resort fee and parking. And please, please avoid PARKER at all cost!!!! He is extremely rude and has zero customer service skills!! I will never book this hotel again because of PARKER’s, lack of professionalism and customer service. Someone from upper management needs to really talk to this guy, and evaluate further, if you really want him as part of your team at the hotel.

check in was not great at this hotel. The young guy at the front desk told me to hush my kids and placed us at a very last room on the floor, away from the elevators, this is while the hotel was almost empty. Clearly this guy has no kids of his own. Your and no experience in life and in customer service.

From the staff at arrival to check out we recieved superior customer service. Very clean room and common areas. Dining options and amenities are excellent. Pool and pool area very relaxing! Highly recommend whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure

It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere. Their parking lot is completely empty and they charge $25 to park. One beer and one drink was $37. My view out the window was of a trailer park. We stay at Marriott’s a lot, but this one leaves a lot to be desired!

Gorgeous resort. Super professional staff. All the amenities you could ask for. About 20 min to Sarasota. Great for family or couples. Highly recommend.

They charge you $25 a day to park your car, but you can't walk anywhere because the nearest anything is 1 mi away. They charge you $45 a day resort fee. Never mentioned on Expedia.

New hotel but nothing around it

Easy to walk ton convention center. Very clean and most of staff was very personable/helpful/polite. Only issue was on Saturday the web stated the restaurant open at 11am. Due to large breakfast crowd opened at 1130am. Family and friends waited a hour to eat.

New modern property, very comfortable beds and good facilities in a very useful location

The area isn’t resort area at all. $45 a night for resort and I don’t want a man made beach on a stinky river. Then add parking fees, it’s all pricey for an area I do not consider resort vacation type. Nice facilities, odd location.

Nice place close to Anna Marie Island and just 25 min to st Pete. Nice pool, beach club would be fun for families. Nice overall. Had a nice drink pool side while we waited for early check in. Staff friendly

The roof top bar which everyone was saying so good was the worse meal ever and very expensive Could not figure out coffee pot in room, had to go on internet to figure out, no directions worked . No coffee in lobby unless you waited in very slow line to buy coffee

For a $600 a night terrible food and service, very disappointing

The restaurant Oyster River and Social are both exceptional and delicious! The bed was super comfy I enjoyed my stay and definitely will come back. There's so much to do on the property as well and the staff is amazing!
