The seafood buffet is great value for the the price. All staff were very helpful and friendly. This is a beautiful upscale rustic venue with several extra options such as walking/hiking, beach volleyball, golf, etc.

Nice hotel sitting on a 5 star property with golf course ,horseback riding and hiking. I especially liked the indoor pool ,steam room and whirl pool. The buffet breakfast and dinner were also nice. If looking for less expensive meals,the Brassy Grill serves great burgers and chicken sandwiches. 10 minutes from the Hiawassee pickleball courts.

This is a delightful resort to stay in. It is nestled in the woods. The scenery is serene & beautiful. They have hiking trails, a wonderful golf course, pool, hot tub & even horseback riding. The Inn itself is warm & inviting. Our room had a fireplace with comfortable chairs that we could enjoy. Everything was clean & neat. I highly recommend this resort.

The area is beautiful. The property itself needs updating - we stayed in a cottage and it had old, stained carpet with burn holes from fireplace embers. Also, the tennis courts have not been maintained at all and have huge cracks all over the surface. It’s a cheap place to stay in the area as long as you are not picky.

I was super impressed with the property! The lodge was so cozy with amazing fireplace and restaurant, they had archery axe throwing and horseback riding at the stables and hiking trails and indoor outdoor pool and spa and the rooms were super comfortable

We stayed in a cabin, it was clean, the bed was not the most comfortable but not horrible. There were some spots in the cabin that you could tell were in need of repair, like the bathroom floor tiles shifting of loose. There were blinds on the doors and windows but they were not sized correctly, in my opinion, as if someone walks by the door they can easily see straight into the room. We took a hike on property on the trails, it was good, watch out for poison oak! The pool was a bit murky and the inside hot tub did not work. The dining room restaurant was pricy for what the selection was for breakfast. The place is definitely set up for golfers, which we are not. We had couples massage at the spa, the service and massage was good but the relaxation area was filled with noisy people at the time, so wasn't very relaxing at all. Overall I would give our entire stay a 3.5 out of 5 stars. It was ok, had the potential to be better. We probably would not stay again, cabin is set up in sections so large parties can rent the whole thing, absolutely no noise reduction between sections. We could easily hear every word and every snore from our neighbors, that was rough.

The location of the hotel is amazing! The cleanliness and the upkeep is not the best so definitely bring some disinfecting wipes to clean off surfaces. For example, we had quite a few dead insects in the windowsills and on the ground, especially in the corners. The service was also exceptional! The employees were very responsive to all of our needs.

This property was a great place years ago but it is now so run down. Ripped carpet, terrible musty smell in room, dirty room, worn out furniture, door key system often fails - hotel needs a lot of capital invested to get this property worthy of a stay again.

We stayed in a cabin which was very easy to find. It had a beautiful wooded view with 2 outdoor rocking chairs and a small table on a private balcony. The cabin has rooms on upper and lower levels accessible by stairs. It was an average room with typical hotel amenities. There were no signs indicating where each room was located. Other people were looking for their room number the same time as us and we all walked up and down stairs to figure out the location of each room. The door was difficult to lock and unlock from inside. The bathroom need attention: Hair on the floor, the tub did not drain, and loose floor tiles. We did not explore the properly but it looked beautiful.

Upon arriving we had to request help w valet, once we checked in noticed the Mountain View was totally obstructed by a building in front of our bedroom window. Our tub was cracked along with mold and missing calking surrounding the tub. Some of the service staff were really nice, however the majority of the staff were not very attentive. We were at the hostess stand to see if we had to make reservations for seating and the hostess was in the phone and walked away once she hung up. We were totally ignored, someone else had to walk over to help us out. We did enjoy the beautiful scenery and grounds.

We staying in a cottage, and cob webs were found through out the room, in the corners behind the TV, and we saw two spiders one in the corner of two walls and in the shower. The tub had some mildew around the edge where it was caulked. Also one or two floor titles were very loose. Outside of the room, there were wasp nest (with wasp) inside of the light fixture that was open. The staff was nice, but if they are not cleaning the cottages more than this, I would not want to stay there again!

The property and room were quiet until families with children started arriving. My room had a connecting door which although closed & locked on my side, I could still hear the people in the adjoining room quite plainly, especially since the child kept opening up the door on their side. I don't usually do this because I personally don't read bad reviews, but I feel I have too. Our wifi never worked the entire time. AC spotty. No phone in room. Room very outdated for price. Staff was great and tried to make things better, but this was past the front desk level

The room was very spacious with nice sized balcony. Cleanliness was good (not great). Not much for buffets so the restaurant was not really for me, but it is centrally located to many area attractions.

Good place to stay when you’re a golfer or visiting Brasstown Bald for hikes. Property is pretty good for the price they charge. Rooms are pretty spacious with mountain views and fire place. Breakfast in bed option was pretty good!

We booked 2 nights in a king balcony room. They tried to put us in a dark, dank basement type room and when I asked to move the front desk lady just said sorry we’re completely booked. I pulled up an app and found a king balcony room and showed it to her, and she said well ok but you can only stay tonight- we’re booked tomorrow. I showed them my reservation for 2 nights and they said sorry - 4 weddings this weekend. I asked why they accepted my reservation if they didn’t have the room available and they told me I shouldn’t have booked through a third party (hotels.com) Then they said I couldn’t have booked a balcony room because you can only book a standard room on the app (not true). So we checked in Friday, on my birthday, and were told to leave Saturday. There was no trying to figure out a solution; no helping us find a room at another hotel; no apologies. At check out Saturday morning, they tried to charge us more than the rate we were quoted. I showed them my reservation, my detailed receipt, and they kept acting as if I was trying to pull a fast one. I had everything documented. They repeatedly implied it was our own fault for not booking directly with the hotel. My birthday trip was awful.

The natural beauty of the area around Brasstown Valley Resort is incredible. God's handiwork on display! Overall our experience was excellent. The only negative was that the Brassies Grill was understaffed every time we either ate there or tried to eat there. For the price of items on the menu and the fact that it was the only option for food at certain times at the resort, they definitely could do better.

We went for family wedding. We booked through Hotels.com and did save but when we got to hotel they added SEVERAL fees! My mother in laws room had no working phone, no alarm clock she’s older and doesn’t have a cell phone if that’s what they thought she should use. The in house bar is SLOW!!! Over 1.2 hours to get our meal with No explanation when asked where’s the order. Bar tender extremely rude to wedding party, and I have unexplained charge on my credit card that I have to disbute from the bar. Charges in the middle of night!!!

We were there for the Thanksgiving feast. It was really under staff,so you know what happens when you're understaffed everything runs behind time. So making reservations either checking into your room or checking in for your dinner you got to expect possible for 30 to an hour wait to be able to check in your room from your long trip to get there. And the same way when you have reservations for dinner and it takes you an hour past your reservation time. It was like that for the three days that we were there. I gave it a four-star because of the politeness of the staff knowing that they were understaffed.

The place needs to be cleaned The service was not great, we got the 2 guys standing by the valet, never ask if they can help, I had to walk up and ask if I can valet park my car. Went to breakfast in the dining area stood by the hostess stand nobody greeted me, the phone was ringing a server answered the phone never look at me and walk off, I had to find someone to ask if we can get a table for 10. Not sure I will go back there again

I stayed at Brasstown Valley Resort over 25 years ago, and I’ve always looked forward to a return visit. The setting is as beautiful as ever, but I found the resort to be in need of modernization. Check in was quick but sterile. I felt like a number rather than a guest. The room was spacious, but in need of updating. Food and drink prices are quite high, and the resort fee is outrageous. Brasstown Valley Resort is in a beautiful setting, but unfortunately I cannot say that the experience is worth the cost.

Resort is beautiful! We stayed in a cottage short walk to the main lodge. Pathway from parked car to 2nd story cottage entrance was very dark they could use more lighting. Our room was clean & comfortable but a bit dated decor. We tried the breakfast buffet ($21.99pp) but wasn’t impressed. The housekeeping staff were very accommodating when we asked for ice, towels & k cups.

Check-in was a breeze and our room is lovely. Wish we could have had a mountain view, but the property is well landscaped and very pretty. Are at the Brassie and had a great experience. The food and service were excellent!

Overall good time for the family. Played golf, went horseback riding, swam, played pool, relaxed. Delicious but pricey dinner in the dining room. Cottage rooms were spacious enough for our family of 4. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. Disappointed that the fireplace in our cottage was inoperable. Also a little disappointed in the restaurant. Website bills it as "gourmet dining" but on Saturdays it is a nice, but standard prime rib buffet. Good but not gourmet. Also, dress in restaurant ranged from t-shirts to sport coats.
