Holiday Inn Express & Suites Atlanta Perimeter Mall Hotel by IHG

The hotel itself was great. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. However, the parking arrangement (especially towing a uhaul trailer) was horrible. There was no adequate room in the hotels’ deck and I had to park up the hill and across the street at the Sheraton. Evidently the Holiday Inn has an agreement with the Sheraton for addl parking but it’s a long walk.

Parking was a little suspect in the elevators needed updating… But the room and the bed were excellent

Large, clean and comfortable room. One elevator makes a lot of noise. Breakfast was good and breakfast server was excellent. Parking is tight for my crew cab pickup truck.

I stayed seven days at this property and for five of them the elevator was broken. I stayed on the 6th floor. Otherwise it was nice.

Washer and dryer was out of order

Desk staff was pleasant, room was clean, breakfast had good options. Only complaint I have is the layout for parking, but that is not the fault of the hotel. It is tight getting through and people drive through there like maniacs.

Very nice friendly property. Had a great experience staying here. The pool is smaller than a lot of hotels, but it is on the third floor outside above the parking garage, which is also another plus the parking is exceptional. Don’t have to worry about having a spot close because there is a parking garage and parking in the front of the hotel.

Driving out of the hotel is a little risky as its on a slope and curved. Cant see cars coming up the road easily.

The property was in a great location however, parking was very confusing. It was more of a round circle so you had very limited parking. Most of the parking were like in between polls so you have to be very careful backing and backing ass so you didn't hit one of the brick poles so parking was a little inconvenient. The second thing was the pool. The pool was on the third floor. It needed to be cleaned the pool. The kids went in on the second day that we were there. It had a lot of bugs in the pool, so we got the pool cleaner and we kind of cleaned the pool for them but at the bottom of the pool there was a lot of green around. It might've been due to the rain so they definitely needed to clean it. Old clothes were left hanging around the pool. The furniture was pretty much scattered. Didn't really have a nice appeal to it. Other than that. The only other thing that I did notice is that the blinds seems like the the mesh was coming out a little bit you could see through spots of it. There were a little openings at it but other than that, the breakfast was great. The people were great just really those three things. We're a bit concerned for Me

Very clean hotel

The bed sheets were pilling and felt rough. The carpet was generally clean but had visible stains. The air conditioning unit was extremely noisy, making it hard to sleep. On the positive side, the bathroom was quite clean and the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was standard but exactly the same every day during my 5-day stay — no variety at all. The most concerning issue: I saw a large cockroach in the room. When I went to the front desk around 7:30 AM to report it, no staff were there. I waited about 15 minutes before someone showed up.

There were cockroaches in our room. One was on the bed and 2 other were in the bathroom. When we told them, they changed our room. But still it was disgusting.

The bathroom wasn’t clean. The tub looked like it had dirt in it. The transportation was great.

The breakfast was great, very nice, lots of choices and tasty. The beds were clean and nice and comfortable. The room was in good shape, comfortable. Everyone was friendly.

Disappointing. Air conditioner didnt work well at all so the room was stuffy to sleep in all night. Had loud thumping noises coming from beside us and above us early in the morning. Woke up to hundreds of ants all over the refrigerator/microwave area. Room was overall nice, good bfast and internet worked well. But the ants..can't say I'll be back.

Clean rooms, friendly staff

Not sure why so many reviews are negative, but we found the common areas to be as pictured and clean as well as our room (217) which was very clean and quiet. Yes, the elevators seem a little dated but work just fine and the bath/shower walls may have recently been replaced and need to be re-caulked due to the large gap between tub and wall. Appreciated the Dove products in the bathroom, no foul smells in the room or hallway, bed was comfortable, no scary stains on sofa or carpet, breakfast was great, they do not rip you off for parking, and the service at the front desk was very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable bed, quiet, and roomy

Ceiling was peeling in the bathroom. The staff didn’t speak and they were not friendly at all. There weren’t any smart tvs. The hotel had direct tv and the signal was weak so I was forced to watch my phone on a two night stay. The breakfast was pretty good but that’s about it. The back door was temporarily out of order but was propped open all night so anyone(non guests) had access to the facility. The air conditioner rattled when on. I will not be staying here again.

The plumbing was bad. Had to move rooms. Then I couldnt adjust the air conditioner in the second room and was freezing. Had to cover the vent with a towel to block the air.

The room was great, you have a choice of a soft pillow or a firm pillow the bed was comfortable. A great place to stay.

Lost tv signal two nights in a row. There is no reason to use a satellite dish especially at a hotel. Need to use fiber optics cable so no signal is lost for guests. Many unhappy folks in the lobby both days.

The room was spacious and clean. But the big issue was that there was no WIFI available in the rooms!!!! Only in the lobby!! I asked to be moved to another room , but it was the same, as soon as you entered the room the WiFi would be gone, so we stayed in the original room. During the 3 day stay there was no change in the situation and even though we told the front desk from the beginning, there was no effort on the management side to fix the problem. Very disappointing stay..

Great location, comfortable bed

The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast looked very nice. The rooms were very quiet - we never heard other guests even though the hotel seemed very busy. The fitness area had nice machines but did not have any cleaning supplies available -the paper towels and antibacterial gel were both empty. The tub filled up with water during the shower and the room felt damp with the A/C on. They were out of toothbrushes at the front desk and did not have any to purchase either. This area is very sleepy and the Walgreens and Publix were both closed at 10pm on a Friday night so we had to drive back out to Roswell road to find a CVS to buy a toothbrush.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Rude staff

Had to pay additional deposit for incidentals. Hotel did not reimburse deposit. 2 calls amd still.neber recived my deposit back.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The Manager made the rounds durinng breakfast to make sure everyone was OK. Very clean hotel.

I travel almost every alternate week of the year for business. So, I experience different level of service. Without exception, this trip has been the most awful service experience in some time. The attitude of all employees encountered was unacceptably terrible. Starting from check in all the way to the checkout were combative and insulting. You guys failed in every step of the way. HOTEL WAS OVERBOOKED, no room was available for as we reserved them back in March 16th. I was confirmed no issues with the room at 9:08 pm after I confirmed the Front desk using the new message system they had that I was arriving after midnight. When arrived we were surprised by front desk lady saying that she called me about that this called was made before 9:08 pm, so they gave my room to someone else and know the well known excuse is that my room was unable due to maintenance. Stay away from this place, no commitment, no hospitality. Gave us a room in different hotel with different bed configuration, and after complain she had the idea to offer us a refund a 2:00 am. Bad Managment.

Excellent hospitality, above and beyond service, wonderful check-in experience

Receptionist friendly, fast, informative and welcoming. Hotel is everything I could ask for.

Computer was out, couldn’t check in or get room key. Waited over an hour for maint to bring the only master key. My wife and maintenance went to our “assigned” room which was already occupied by a half dressed man who easily could have shot her as there was no knock on the door, maint just barged in. Didn’t get keys till the next day. The lobby was full of people waiting to check in and the hotel had no idea what rooms were occupied. Terrible experience and we would like to be compensated

We had family coming from Ohio because my husband was having a major surgery and we wanted to be close to the hospital. We had to extend our stay because my husband had complications. The staff was so gracious and caring and I didn’t realize how much I needed their calming presence. It was such a blessing to have a clean place to sleep, shower and a good breakfast before going to the hospital each day.

The front desk staff are all amazing, but it was something about Chanel (if I’m not mistaken, that’s her name) that just stood out over the others. Mr. Benni and Ms. Zella (breakfast staff) are both phenomenal, we looked forward to seeing both of their smiling faces every morning!!

Clean, quiet, and several shopping and dining options in the area.

Easy commute to downtown Atlanta and parking is free!

Great service and location

Property close to relatives house when I visit Atlanta... stayed here many times... hopefully I will continue to stay here when I visit Atlanta, also shopping,eateries and hwy is right there..

Staff was helpful. Finding the hotel was easy. Easy parking.

Hotel is in a great location, reasonable price, friendly staff, free parking and free breakfast.

Everything about the stay was excellent! It’s was in a perfect location for all of activities we had booked for our trip !

Didn't like that the property's entrance was kind of hidden

Enjoyed the visit. Would’ve appreciated a more friendlier experience from the female in charge of breakfast. It’s the attitude that came through over the simplest thing such as fixing equipment to better function. Hope to not experience this again. Maybe she was not having a good day. Clean workout room minus the broken and very dated weight lifting machine. Great overall.

Breakfast was great! Love the biscuits and gravy! Beds were comfy and rooms spacious.

I had family visiting from NY and we had a wonderful time with our stay here, the staff was friendly and helpful, the pool was great, and breakfast was really really good! Definitely would stay again!

Staff here was wonderful. We met a few different people and they were friendly and welcoming. Allowed us to check in a little early as we'd been on the road a while. Room appeared very clean. Had a nice little market with snacks and meds. Breakfast left a lot to be desired as anything that was supposed to be kept hot wasn't hot. Real concerns for food illnesses. Those in my party that ate eggs, sausage or gravy felt sick. Otherwise, standard pastries and cereal fare was fine. There are three things that really stand out. TERRIBLE beds and TERRIBLE flat soft down type pillows. All three adults woke up in some serious pain. We had such a bad night of sleep we forfeited the money for the room and went to a different hotel after the first night. I know this is preference but its like an old style spring mattress in the way it gives and the pillows even stacking just are not comfortable as they are paper thin. The shower is the other odd thing. The tub is tilted on the sides. So it like slopes to the middle. So it is awkward to stand in and felt like a serious safety hazard. You have to almost shower sideways to not fall. The toilet had no water pressure. You had to hold the handle for multiple long flushes to make sure paper went down. I did appreciate that they had DOVE shampoo conditioner soap etc available in the bathroom for use. Nice location but for the money, not as competitive as other more comfortable hotels. Will be not be staying at this chain again.
