Motel 6 Atlanta, Ga – Atlanta Airport East

The rooms are what you'd expect. Simple, no frills. The bed is somewhat comfortable. There was a slight smell to everything. The condition of the hotel is just this side of disrepair. I would not have stayed here if I hadn' thad to make last minute reservation.

Very dirty and roach infested I couldn’t stay there it was a roach on the bed and above the headboard also had worms underneath the bed and outside the property

It was alot of traffic, like drug trafficking. I killed three roaches, before I asked for another room. The second room was a little better. But I won't stay at another Motel 6.

Property lost power before I arrived but refused to cancel the booking or refund my payment for two rooms. They explained there would be no lights, power, phones, or heat until the next day, during a blizzard. Terrible staff and management. 0 out of 10.

Completely awful. I showed up and all the power in all of the rooms was off, the person checking people in was sitting there in the dark with his phone light on to see, and doors of random rooms were just sitting there ajar, swinging. There were a couple random people wandering around outside, and like 4 of the 15 cars in the lot had serious damage. I was in complete disbelief. My uber driver and I looked at each other and he immediately pulled the car out, while I booked a new place and spent the night there. I don't know if I caught them on, like, the worst night they've had in years or if this is at all normal. But that was possibly the most suspicious "hotel" building I've ever pulled up to in a car. I will be pursuing a refund. Do not stay here.

I stayed at this location as a last resort when the ATL airport gave my rental car to someone else. Was the room and the property like a 5 star resort? Not even close. However, it was a place to stay for 1 night until we were able to get a rental car the next day. The front desk manager was extremely nice. Bookings through 3rd parties was messing up his system and was still accepting reservations when he didn't actually have any rooms. Luckily for my family I called asking for a different room and to make sure everything was set. When I got there our room had been upgraded and I found out it was the very last room they had. The following day we needed to stay way past check out and the late check out and they only charged us a small amount. This was extremely generous helpful because we would've been on the street in the ATL heat until we could leave. I'm not really sure about the location. We got there after midnight, and it was dark. From looking around the day we left, it's rather remote and there's not a lot around but food delivery is available, and the parking lot is well lit. Would I stay here again? In a pinch yes I would.

I recommend that Motel 6 take several steps to improve the guest experience, including thoroughly cleaning rooms, checking behind doors for any items left by previous guests, and repainting tubs where needed. Additionally, the property should ensure that all non working vehicles are towed, trash is regularly removed especially from the front of the property and stairwells are kept clean. Installing a working ice machine and and it should be common courtesy to offer fresh towels to guests staying multiple nights, such as three or more. I also requested a king room with a refrigerator and did not receive one; honoring simple room preferences, especially for My6 members, would reflect better service and appreciation for loyal customers.

The bathroom floors was horrible so as the carpet was filthy they needed to be shampooed and towels and bed sheets both had stains

The photos on the website did NOT depict the actual room aesthetics, cleanness, decor. Unacceptable. There was cigarette burns on the bed comforter. We did not stay the night - we checked out after being there only 3 hours. Actually we should have requested a refund. Would NOT recommend this hotel.

The first room had roaches and it smelled like mold and weed. The second room thrre because we changed rooms dudnt smell as bad but it was the same with the bedspead had burn holes in it. We had to sleep in hoodies so my hair or body touch it.

It was 25° out and when I entered my room, the heater had clearly not been turned on in days. I slept in my coat, shivering, as it took all night to heat the room. Dirtiest hotel I've even stayed in. I would have been better off sleeping on the floor in the airport.

Didnt get the type of room paid for. No towels or soap in room. Shower coating peeling off. Holes from water damage around the toilet. Just felt like the room was used as an hourly rental. Never have had a room in such disrepair

There were stains on the wall that looked like someone had urinated on it. The bed was broken and had no support so you rolled to the middle. When the mattress got lifted to see what was wrong with the bed, there was a used condom underneath it. The only reason we even stayed at all was because of the time of day and we were exhausted. We went to the front desk and asked if we could check out early and get a refund for the nights we weren’t staying and he said that was fine to check out by 11. (I choose to pay at the hotel) When we went into the office in the morning there was a different person at the counter who was refusing to issue a refund. He said because it was through a third party there was nothing he could do. He refused to call a manager. I contacted hotels.com (who were amazing). They said because I paid at the hotel he would have to issue the refund. Hotels.com tried to call the hotel and I watched as he kept answering, putting them on hold and hanging up on them. He made no effort to be helpful and almost seemed like he was trying to be difficult. I know it’s a motel 6 and I wasn’t expecting luxury but the condition of this place and the customer service was crazy. Lesson learned. I’ll spend a little extra next time. It’s worth the peace of mind.

The room was a awful. Black mold on the walls in the shower. Broken towel rack. Tile base board was broken and holes in the wall. The chair looked like it was pulled from the local garbage dump.

it was alright, besides the fact that everything was wrong with the room. when we first arrived the bathroom light didn't work so we had to call maintenance to fix it. but when we tried to call the front desk from the room phone, we realized it was unplugged from the wall and the hang up bottom on it was broke. so i had to call them from my cell. later on after the light was fixed, we realized that we're also missing batteries from the remote for the tv so we just didn't watch any of that. then later when i go to brush my teeth, i get done and decide to use the hand towel on the wall to dry my mouth off with. i just barely touched it and the whole towel rack fell off the wall. lol
