Best Western Mulberry Hotel

Breakfast was OK. Front desk night lady was not very helpful. Very few amenities for the price.

The remodel of the hotel was very nice since the last time I was there. The room was nice, breakfast was good and the bed was ok. My only issue was the side door to get in, the door slams loudly and my room was right next to it. People were coming and going all night, it woke me up every hour, so I did not sleep well. In my opinion that door should be locked at a certain time where you only have the ability to come in through the main lobby that late at night.

Business goes on during renovations. Great location between Mulberry & Bartow, FL. Traffic noise during the day (get that anywhere in Florida). Lots of parking spaces except by front door. Staff great, eager to please. Hot & cold breakfast available. Always a pleasant, comfortable stay.

It something I think you might want to think about. You can park in the back. But there is no door to get into the hotel. Maybe a back door entrance. But over all the hotel is very nice and staff is too.

Everything was great .not as clean as it could have been..but did have privacy ..was on the second floor and all the things like laundry ,ice machine ,vending machines,pool, trashcans were all on the 1st floor. And i had 4 grand kids with me . So we were contstantly having to empty the tiny trash can. But all in all we loved it...

The property was good. I didn't like that the back door did not lock. But the staff was very friendly nice and friendly. I would stay there again if need be.

The staff was very friendly, however the facility was awful. Terrible musty smell, like mold. Very humid in the room even with the AC on 68. Hallway smelled like marijuana. There werekmited memories like extra pillows. There was a beeping sound outside that started around 3am that kept us awake. The room was relatively clean but not comfortable - bed was hard. We had to exit our stay a day early because of the discomfort. Worst motel experience.

Room was very sparse, no carpet, silver fish found in bathroom. Older hotel, priced higher than you would expect considering the accommodations. Can’t recommend.

The stay was a tragedy from the beginning. You are helpless to do anything because the room is non-refundable. I arrived to find that the hotel had no power. The receptionist was all alone sitting in the dark without any back up power. The power did not come back on until after 2am. I was stuck taking the room and went to the closest hardware store and bought candles for myself and the front desk lady all by herself in the dark. I went to the room which was cold and obviously dark. I had nothing to do but sit in the dark so I decided to try and take a shower thinking that surely they have huge boilers and there would at least be hot water or at best warm. I was wrong. I was hesitant to go anywhere because of the bad storms we were having. I tried to sleep because it was very cold. I dozed for a little while and sat in the dark for a few hours. I could not take the cold any longer so I went and sat in my car with the heat on. Looking around at the property I noticed several windows with the curtains were hanging only attached to one side. The property had litter and the beds had beer bottles thrown in it. The landscaping was in a terrible state of neglect. The room was neglected as well when the power finally came on. There was black mold in the bathroom, the shower flooded the floor and the slow drains were an issue. There was no internet,remote didnt work and floor lifting up posing trip hazard. Never will I stay again. Awful experience. mgmt is awful.

Worst Best Wedtern hotel we stayed in. Room is big but very few and simplistic furnitures. Will not stay there again.

Property located on highway in a small town. The hotel is undergoing renovations that hopefully will improve its deficiencies. Flooring uneven and loose laminate boards. The television didn’t work in our room.

When I checked in the clerk announced my room number. As a single woman traveling alone this was not appropriate. The AC rattled. sounded like something was crawling around in it.

I'd like to pay special tribute to Samantha. This lady truly exemplified 'going above and beyond the call of duty'. The special attention she afforded me in the reservation process was outstanding. We will most definitely stay here again as this stay-coming back to my hometown stay-was most enjoyable. I personally recommend Samantha be given an immediate pay raise and promotion. Again, thank you Samantha for your efforts!

Gentleman working the front desk was very friendly and professional, even though the group before me became a little challenging. He noticed I had 2 reservations so he waa able to cancel one typify them to save me from paying twice. (And it gave him an extra room for the night which he needed, win - win! Breakfast was good and all staff were nice and helpful.

The nice lady at the front desk was helpful and informative. She was very pleasant to deal with. Even made jokes. Definitely went the extra mile explaining the property and hot breakfast in the morning.

Our room was very clean. The shower pressure was really good and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. Breakfast was good...the coffee was excellent. I think the A/C in the lobby and breakfast area wasn't working because it was VERY warm but our room was super cold. All in all, it was a good stay even though it was a short stay. I would recommend staying there. I felt like the price was very reasonable as well.

The room was quiet and reasonably clean. Not much as far as landscaping or things to do surrounding the place, but if you’re just looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for a few nights this hotel is fine.

adequate for overnight stays, the motel is isolated from attractions. heavy equipment lot and fire station behind and an apparent dump across the street. Garmin maps located motel on the other side of the street.

The property is convenient for our needs while relocating and was reasonable compared to other properties.

It was a funeral so we were trying to get as close possible , and there wasn’t anything else around It was in a industrial area

Very helpful young man at the front desk at check-in gave some suggestions for local restaurants. Breakfast was pretty good as buffets go. Hotel seemed to be in a safe location. We chose this hotel because the rating number was much higher than others for the price range. We were satisfied overall.

This place was really nice, clean, affordable, and quiet. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was quite the spread. If we are ever back in town, we would stay here again!

Went into my room the bathroom and the floors were dirty. They charged me more than it said when I booked it. The floor in my room was coming up in many many places as you walked across of it the tiles lifted up. It was very musty. Nothing worked properly, when I went down to breakfast, they ended an hour before they said it was supposed to end and I couldn’t get breakfast because they said they weren’t many people there

Liked price Didn’t like bed or breakfast, not much of a choice at breakfast of my 4 days there, not once did they have everything posted to eat. And why do the put the spices and peppers in the potatoes, they were awlful
