No airport shuttles were available when we needed them

Transportation was advertised on the internet for 24 hour transportation pick up.My daughter arrived at 11:15 pm called the hotel to schedule her pick up and was advised that the transportation shuttle stopped pick ups at 11pm

The staff was friendly, and the pool was clean and well-maintained, although the towels could be improved. My only concern is the temperature in the halls and elevators; it seems that the air conditioning is not being run in these areas. Additionally, the elevators are very slow.

The folks at the front desk were kind and helpful. The room had everything I needed...a micro, a fridge, 2 comfortable beds (great firm mattress), tons of pillows, everything worked well. I worked out in a gym with weights, treadmills, stationary bike. Oh, and the breakfast was "the usual" but some extras besides the eggs and pancakes and bagels...they had oatmeal and individual yogurts and warm cinnamon rolls... How can you go wrong for the price??

The hotel was great but the airport shuttle was horrible. We waited over an hour for it to arrive and then it stopped at 3 other hotels before it came to ours, further delaying our arrival. When we travel we normally try to find a hotel with a shuttle, but I would not recommend this Holiday Inn Express for that reason.

We would stay at this hotel again. The lobby and room were clean, and the shower was strong. The room amenities were great. We all loved the wide variety of hot and cold foods available for breakfast. Also, the receptionists were polite and pleasant. Just a couple of things that can be improved on for the future: the long wait for the hotel shuttle (took over 1 hour to be picked up from the airport) and only 1 working elevator. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Liked the breakfast but the shuttle service was terrible. Had to wait for almost 2 hours for pick up from airport. Would have taken uber if we were informed earlier about the waiting time . Every time we called we were informed that the driver was on his way . We were also misled about the pick up area .

Nice pool area and shuttle from airport

Transfers took awhile to arrive. One of the two elevators was out and the hotel was sold out.

Despite numerous calls to the hotel, no one ever came to pick me and my wife up at the airport…. Shuttle service totally failed us. We took a cab for $20.

Shower had hair in it. Sheets weren’t clean. We got in late so no time to inspect until the morning

I found a bed bug in my bed and the stuff didn’t do anything about i and I'm still waiting on my refund it’s been 2 weeks already.

Clean overall, however there was a smell of urine on the entire 5th floor and in our room. The food was ok, but staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 1 night before a very early morning flight. Check in took a long time since there was a problem was the reservation before us and only one staff available. Upon entering the room we noticed that bathroom wasn’t clean since a good amount of hair was found in the shower area. I called front desk and someone was sent upstairs to clean the bathroom. The shower had very low pressure so little water was coming out of it. The issue was informed to front desk who said someone would fix it. No one came to solve the issue neither a new room was offered to us. Upon our check out we informed the issue to the front desk staff who didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. Terrible service, dirty bathroom and low pressure shower. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Rude sheets were still dirty house keeping threw away stuff that wasn’t trash and claimed they didn’t and then when I made them go thru the trash they found it and didn’t apologize for doing so left our door wide open which our luggage was gone thru and they did nothing about it there was bugs in the bathroom

The room i stayed had a roached but when i got up at 3am in the morning i found what it seems a infestation of roaches. They from desk didn't care at my previous request. I have been trying to reach out but no answers. Corporate can't help and suggested we reached out to them directly. Very disgusted and disappointed on how they handled this

Property is clean in common areas, fair breakfast. Convenient to airport and to stores to grab items if you need for cruise ship. However walked into our room and it smelled like wet dog. Realised they had wet vacuumed the carpet and it did not dry. Also very run down looking room. This was 1am in the morning after 24 hrs of travelling to 3 airports to make our cruise. Too exhausted to argue with the preoccupied front desk staff. We slept literally on the covers, took a shower and left for cruise port. Will not stay here again.

Strong musty smell on the 3rd floor, in the hallway and in the room. Shower ceiling was poorly repaired and unsightly.

Very disappointed with our stay here. The hotel overall had a very musty smell. Everything appeared clean but upon closer inspection was absolutely not. I walked around the room barefoot after taking a shower (with dry feet) and my feet were completely black within minutes. Our shower glass door was broken and to get in/out of the shower was a weightlifting nightmare. Our toilet barely flushed and almost overflowed with even the smallest amount of urine.

Everything was well until I saw a roach on the wall. My family and I was only there for a few hours due to us flighting out super early in the morning.

Smelly (old) carpet in corridor and in room. Very noisy air conditioner. Had to disconnect it to be able to sleep.

Definitely run down and dingy. Was ok for one night, but the pullout sofa bed was completely broken and couldn’t be used, and the overall feel was just not super clean and welcoming.

After 12 hours of travel, you just want to get your shuttle and check in and get the keys to your room. I waited for the shuttle for 45 minutes in 95 degree weather the shuttle was a no show and finally got an Uber. Unfortunately, this was not the only mishap. I arrived and was immediately told my reservation was cancelled. I never received an email or notification, and the hotels.com app shows BOOKED and had a confirmation code. I showed this to the front desk agent, who seemed to be in a bad mood. He said, well that’s not what my computer shows. After 15 minutes of this, I finally asked if I had a room or not. I was exhausted and just wanted to lay down. He finally conceded and gave me a room, then charged an extra $50. Turns out this was a deposit, but he did not say that so when I said this is higher than the rate I booked he rudely said it’s a deposit, but I have to start over again. So after 1 1/2 of waiting I finally got keys to my room- #109. Turns out this is the loudest room in the hotel, immediately adjacent to the breakfast room and the pool. The pool had kids screaming and running 1 ft away from my window until 10:30pm, and the breakfast commotion started at 6am immediately followed by the loudest vacuum. It was not a comfortable or quiet room, but otherwise fine. I wore noise cancelling headphones the entire time, and checked out as soon as I was able to get an uber out.

Plumbing was in rough shape. (I am a plumber) your pressure is too high you probably need a new pressure regulator. The toilet is singing when you flush, and the drinking fountain was shooting too far. The shower valve had a loose screw.

Room 418 floor flooded with water from AC unit. Water was lukewarm for bathing. The initial smell from the room was very appalling. Had to spray air freshener several times to mask the smell.

The location of this hotel is perfect from the airport & cruise port. We stayed one night for about $120. I didn’t have the highest expectations, but this hotel needs some work!!! The A/C doesn’t seem to work in the hallways. Around midnight the A/C in my room on the 2nd floor also went out. Called the front desk was told they’d give $40 off, which they did. However, I was not offered to change rooms. Also, Wifi did not work at all during our stay. I really liked that the hotel offered 24/7 airport shuttle! The carpet in the room was FILTHY. Our socks were so dirty, It was sickening. The bed was very comfortable though. I guess for the price and location, this was a good bargain. Front desk associates were nice, but management unfriendly. IHG should reconsider endorsing this property. Next time, I’ll just pay more for better quality.

Hotel room was clean and spacious

Very poor lighting throughout the room. Never seen such low toilet. USB and only 1 of 2 electrical outlets on nightstand worked. Lots of road noise, should have asked for a rear location.

Internet doesn’t work!

The pull out sofa bed looked dirty. Stains on the cushion. The mattress wasn't too attractive either. It was thin and uncomfortable. You can feel the metal under the mattress.To make matters worse the frame on the sofa bed was broken and would collapse if you moved without being careful. Gonna try to sleep without moving but im doubting this is gonna be a good night for me. My son and 2 grandsons have the 2 regular queen beds in this suite with no complaints.

My compliments to the Manager Vesna & her staff member Mac! They welcomed us, helped arrange airport shuttle & provided extra attention with a later check out! Their professionalism & going the extra mile was unbelievable! I would definitely stay here again!

Flight was cancelled went there as a last minute booking. Staff was wonderful from check in to check out (Cary). This place was very nice for price and location. Free continental breakfast and shuttle to airport. Will definately br coming back here when in town.

I got this for my mother in law and this hotel created a terrible experience for her. They lost her luggage at the luggage hold. When she was going to retrieve it they had let another person staying on the property take her luggage. She had to get the police involved and made the staff look through cameras. Once the culprits were found the luggage was not returned until midnight. Staff male member that initially assisted her on day one was nice and understanding, he was training. Everyone else seemed to not care about her pain and suffering. Hotel management promised some refund but that has not happened nor will it based on Thai experience. I would not recommend this hotel!!!

Last minute stay due to flight cancellation and it was a great choice not far from the airport with some restaurants right across the street. Employee Cary at the front desk was awesome. He was polite, accommodating, and offered excellent customer service. There were good breakfast options, pool area was nice, room was comfy and clean, and there was a timely airport shuttle. I highly recommend!

The wait time to check in was well over an hour with only one lady checking people in which cause a long line in the lobby and people all over the place trying to check in! Not enough rooms cleaned in time and just overall poor service from staff. Definitely will not be stay at this hotel ever again in my life.

The people were nice just not competent. Got a room key with a family already in the room. Man in shower. Then get another key…this also occupied just of the cockroach species. Running all over the walls. And the room also had no working air in Florida heat. And finally get a room after midnight with 2 small kids. Just never using the brand. No amenities extended compensation barely apologies. Disappointed

Close to airport and walking distance to restaurants. Clean and comfy. Nice pool area.

Everything was what we would expect it to be. Friendly staff, clean rooms and facilities.The breakfast was convenient and had plenty of variety which made it nice so we didn’t have to get out to eat! We also liked the location as it was near both the airport and the cruise port!

The hotel location was perfect, close to both the airport and cruise port. The room was big, clean and comfy. Took out one star because of transportation. The hotel includes free transportation from the airport. We called once we arrived and they told us the shuttle was 15 minutes away. Kept calling because the shuttle was a no show! We waited over an hour and finally decided on an Uber. When we arrived to the hotel they informed us the shuttle has another hotel’s logo, that’s why we missed it (though we say it a couple of times). They could have informed us in one of the calls then we wouldn’t have waited with children for an hour outside at midnight!

I liked that this property is located close to both the airport (FLL) and the Everglades Cruise Port. I didn’t like that the neighbourhood around the property had very few dining options and included sex workers openly doing business.

Convenient to airport/cruise port, shopping, food

Loud. Full of partyers. 4th floor smelled HORRIBLE. Area is pretty dicey. Don't go outside after dark.

The location was good, close to the airport which is what we were looking for. We were on the 2nd floor, rooms were just fine, bed was comfy!

The hotel is very nice. The only thing I think that is incorrect is how close all the restaurants are located. There are restaurants close by if you want to jay walk on a big highway. If you go down to the crosswalks and walk to the restaurants it is more like 15 minutes walk to restaurants not 5. The hotel itself is nice.

Stayed one night before cruise. Clean, spacious rooms, great breakfast, and walking distance to restaurants.

Beds were comfortable and they had a very nice breakfast. Very good restaurant across the road and there was some stores that you could pick up articles that you forgot to bring with you. The hotel could use some refurbishment.

The place is centrally located next to the attractions, there are signs of age on the building. Breakfast is good but can be crowded.

The hotel was very conveniently located and the rooms were ok. The check-in staff was pretty friendly but was unable to provide asny extra pillows when asked. Our room was not clean. There were cobwebs on our lamp and blood on the bathroom wall. The biggest flaw was breakfast. Hotels.com says breakfast ends at 10. The check-in staff said 10. There was a sign on the breakfast area that said 9:30. We got to breakfast at exactly 9:05. The pancake machine was out, biscuits were out, most bread was out, bascon was out, orange juice was out, and when I asked if more was being put out I was told "no thats it for everyone. " 20 minutes before it was even supposed to end. Then the lady just walked away. We booked this hotel because usually Holiday Inn is great when it comes to breakfast.

Clean rooms comfortable beds,the only disappointment was the lack of bacon in the breakfast.Spent 5 nights and none.

Breakfast was amazing. Bed was very comfy.

Great location for families. Nearby restaurants and fast food. Clean outdoor pool. Hot coffee 24/7, great for early morning travel as well as a convenient store on the property for a few select options as well as a grocery store across the street from the property.

I didn't care for the breakfast at all

The room was very clean and spacious. Unfortunately we found the breakfast area a bit messy due to "messy guests" and food on the floor, etc. This could be cleaned up more frequently. Thank you.
