avid hotel - Ft Lauderdale Airport - Cruise by IHG

Hotellet har två stjärnor vilket motsvarar vår upplevelse. Vi bodde där fyra nätter och det är bara 2 gånger som städades i vårt rum. Städpersonalen tar dina gamla handdukar och hämtar inte nya. Inredningen i rummet är billig och trasig. Det är väldigt mörkt och ogemytligt i rummet. I badrummet kändes ofräscht. Frukosten serveras i förpackningar, även omelett och varma mackor. Man äter sin frukost i papptallrikar med plastbestick. Vi rekommenderar inte hotellet till dem som ställer krav på service och förväntar sig en trevlig hotellupplevelse.

Clean room, Comfortable bed No coffee maker or microwave in the room was disappointing for us.( I did not notice that fact when making the reservation) Most of the staff was friendly except one specific lady at the front desk with a nasty/nice attitude. AC not working I the room. We have it a few hours to see if it was just because of the hot weather outside but no. After 5 hours the AC was not working properly. And on top of it just a little bit of water coming out the shower. The lady at the Front Desk during Friday night was very helpful. Since maintenance was gone for the day she move us to another room and we felt the difference right away.The AC on that room and the shower was very good so no complaints. We enjoyed the breakfast the first morning. We might be wrong but it is our understanding that the breakfast was until 10am Today my father went out around 9:20 to 9: 30am they were already starting to clean. I went out at 9:45 just for a yogurt and coffee and everything was clean and gone already besides the coffee machines. The complimentary coffee in the lobby was good. But again supposed to be available 24/7 but on Saturday night when we got there both machines said they were out. The gym was nice. The pool could be cleaner. No towels were available in the pool area until around 3pm on Saturday So overall it was good but definitely could be better.

Great staff. However the hotel is poorly maintained

Excelente hotel

The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the floor was coming unglued in several areas, presenting a fall hazard. I also booked two rooms for family and paid for both but, while they were next door, they were not adjoining. I made the reservations in my name but I was not listed as a guest and permission from a family member had to be secured to issue me a key or allow access to the room. Finally, my plane arrived shortly after 3:00 but I was told I couldn’t be picked up until the next scheduled run 2 hours later. The driver was kind enough to come in 1 hour to pick me up, as a courtesy.
