Overall, this was a pretty average hotel stay. Nothing fancy, just the basics. While my room appeared to have been recently updated, the rest of the property was noticeably dated and could definitely use some TLC. That said, the staff was wonderful! Everyone I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service, which I really appreciated. For under $100 a night, I feel like the experience was fair for the price. If you’re looking for somewhere affordable to rest your head without expecting too many bells and whistles, this place gets the job done.

The Granada Hotel is a good affordable option if you're visiting the Santa Clara/San Jose area. We appreciated the free parking, and the ability to check-in after hours. We did have a little trouble finding our room the first night, so a clear map or directory of the rooms in the lobby would be helpful. The renovations happening right now aren't pretty, but they didn't affect our stay at all (no noise) which we liked. Staff was very helpful when our door code stopped working, and made check-out super easy. The housekeeping was great and kept us stocked on towels throughout our stay.

Although they were doing some remodeling to a couple of the rooms. The place is well maintained. The room was comfortable and cozy. I love the pillows. Air conditioning was spot on. I had no complaints. Even though they were doing remodeling it wasn't too loud and didn't interrupt my sleep or anything. So I had a good stay.
