Motel 6 Fort Bragg, CA

La puerta del baño se atoraba. Las parte de avajo de las bases de camas, estaban muy sucias asta con señales de liquidos derramados y sin cambiar por años creo. Cuartos de no fumar apestosos a sigarro. En fin un lugar al que jamas regresaria... la recepcionista muy amable, por cierto!

The staff were very friendly although not really available most of the stay. There were many unsavory characters stay near us that sounded like long term stays. Lots of yelling, stomping, and children crying. The room was pretty dirty with marks and dirt on the walls aswell as the floor. The door in the side room was almost non functional due to it hanging off the hinges. The pics of the room on the website are completely different. The only thing that seemed clean was the towels and the bedding. There was construction going on in the parking lot so there were dumpsters all over and it just looked messy. Could not park in front of our room because of excessive visitors in the other rooms. I would not recommend this as a place to stay and will not stay here again based on this experience. Pool was not available due to the construction. Oh, and the water got hot quickly in shower but there were no screens on the bathroom or bedroom windows and no fan in the bathroom. Also, the heater did work.

We love staying at Motel 6. The rooms are a good size & price. The last time we stayed we were super with a big tub in our room. What an amazing birthday gift 😉 The staff was always friendly & very helpful. Can’t wait to go back again.

Hello, I like and have stayed at MANY Motel 6 locations...this one is far from your finest. It was just a bit run down in all kinds of ways. The room that I was in was not one that had your (usually impressive) renovations. There was some kind of machine or pump or something that continually made a noise like a washing machine or a pump or something. Just after arriving the power went out for an hour or so...nobody's fault. The next day, my room key (card) wouldn't open my door. I went to the office and the woman there swiped it, said that it had somehow become erased and then told me that she was having trouble with the machine that 'coded' the cards. It simply was not working as she furiously tried swiping new card after card. She was on the phone to someone trying to get help, which didn't arrive. She said that a new machine was due to arrive the next day. I felt terrible for her, she appeared to be alone and had to walk each new arrival ALL the way to their room. NONE of this was her fault and she was quite good natured about it, but REALLY stressed out. I googled the machine and went to the office to see if I could help her. Rather than have to go get her to go out and back for dinner and the next day for breakfast, I just packed my bag, put it in my car and then, with the TV and lights on, slipped a piece of cardboard in between the door lock latches and the recess in the door jam and went out, had dinner and the same for breakfast the next morning...NOT your finest!.

Blood stains in the shower, cigarette burns on the sheets. And I got a renovated room. Floors were so dirty my socks turned black. Good location, staff was nice, not nosey or anything. But room could have been better
