The restaurant had great breakfast but no food for dinner. They only had very limited items cause their "food order" for the kitchen had not come in.

This hotel’s photos were very misleading. It’s pretty much an old motel that has had a facelift. First impression when you walk in is that old smoke smell that refuses to be covered up. Some of the rooms are entered from a dingy indoor hallway, but many are outside doors facing the pool. The room was clean and mildly updated but was basically cement walls with plaster smeared on them in a pattern. The a/c unit didn’t get exceptionally cool but was fine for October. The room was quite dark even with the few lights on and opening the window didn’t help because it was covered by a tree. I’m really not one to write negative reviews on things like pillows, but they were so thick and lumpy that I slept on a sweatshirt instead. All around, it felt like a budget motel which, while fine, was not what the photos impressed on me when I booked. Another note: the area is anot the best, I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here solo even just walking from the parking lot into the hotel. Unfortunately, just nature of the area in general, but something to keep in mind. I will say most of the staff was quite friendly, especially those in housekeeping and the restaurant. And it was clean for the most part. Just overall, very different than the impression it gives online which was super frustrating because I felt a little duped.

Room was very large, bed large and comfortable. I will say bed is apps 18 inches off floor and not a problem for us but some people with hip or leg problems might have difficulty. Bathroom was kinda small but functional. It's a tub with shower curtain. Housekeeping had a habit of only leaving one face cloth thou 2 adults staying in room. The hotel location is not in crowded downtown but close enough. Staff was smiling and helpful. There are some improvements that could be made. There is only (1) ice machine, you have to exit the lobby out near the pool to get ice. There are no vending machines. If you want a soda you have to get it while the restaurant or bar us open, water is sold at front desk. The restaurant in the morning seemed to be run by one person and I suppose a cook and at night the bartender person doubles as your waiter person. You should be patient; they are trying to do their best. Parking us close to the lobby.

Was not worth the amount spent. Rooms felt dirty, and the amenities were not worth the value. The only plus was the free breakfast in the morning which was delicious.
