For a Hilton, it did not meet expectations. The bed was uncomfortable & the liner was hanging off, Ice machines were out of order, one elevators was out of order “for renovations” & there is construction all around the property. It’s fine for a 1 night stay, but I would not recommend for several days if your vacationing.

To start with when we (my sister and I, traveling alone) had to park in the back because a semi truck had taken at least 6 parking spaces. I let the check in clerk know. She didnt seem overly concerned. Our room smelled terrible at arrival. A musty, dirty mop kind of smell. Yuck! Then, this morning, no hot water!! Then, I needed to iron a shirt, and the iron didnt work. Leaked water all over the ironing board & half of my shirt. The bed was wonderful.

The staff at the front desk were courteous and polite. The room needs some deep cleaning and repairs. I booked the accessible room for my elderly mom. She was unable to use the shower because the shower seat is broken from the tile wall. Looked very unsafe. I reported immediately to the office. No other room was available. No compensation offered. My husband cleaned the bathroom mirror because it was dirty. Carpet needs shampooing. A lot of black mold on the balcony floor. Our family has stayed at the hotel at least fifteen times over the years and it is obviously that it needs some serious attention and upkeep. Prices at food restaurant area are very expensive. $9.99 for 2 bottles of water.

Bartender was a major B***h did not know how to make anything. Our room was messed up so they put us in 2 rooms where dogs obviously had been, there was pet hair everywhere and our ankles and legs were covered with flea bites. Do not stay here unless the can guarantee a pet free actually clean room. We stayed two nights because there are no other options. I would stay next door at homewood it’s newer.

Shower didn’t work.There was black mold in the shower and you could smell the mold really strongly.There was the smell of urine Near the table that held the television. I had an allergic reaction to something in the room.

The King Accessible room was gigantic, with lots of space to be able to move around the room. The sink was recessed and less accessible as a result. It was a bathtub room because they didnt have a roll in/king available and we chose to not get the roll in/2 queen. The TV was small for the size of the room and how far you're from it while in the bed or the chair. There was a microwave, fridge, and a closet space. The bathroom door and room door opened into each other, but the bathroom door was not self closing (preferred).

The staff was very nice. The highway noise at night is loud. The shower did not work properly. They have a bar and a restaurant so if you have to stay on property, there’s an option. I paid more than what I’ve paid for another hotel in the area, and it wasn’t worth it. They allow pets, which is helpful. But that also means that the grass on property has animal waste from inconsiderate owners who don’t pick it up. I have another trip through there in a week, and Im going to try another hotel.

The property was nice. Our accommodations consisted of a bedroom and living room. The couch pulled out into another bed. The hotel does not offer free breakfast . Breakfast is $15 which seems like a lot since many hotels,now a days, give you breakfast. There were 2 outside seating areas one of which is right outside of the indoor pool. I have to be honest though. I have never stayed in a hotel that did not have a single mirror other than the one in the bathroom. There was not mirror to check how you looked before you left the room. For that reason I may select another hotel next year.

Derrick at the front desk was great at customer service, politeness, and knowledgeable about his job. He was very friendly as well. He served multiple people while I was standing in the lobby and took care of everyone’s needs very fast and efficiently.

When I got there to check in the two employees were just taking g to each other after what seemed to be 10 mins . Finally another person came up and helped us and it went slow. I travel a lot and it was the worst experience I have ever had checking in. I was never met in my stay with a person that was happy working there.

Greeted with a smile from the staff as soon as I walked in and they were all so hospitable. Derrick at the front desk is a huge asset to the company. He was very friendly and accomodating and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and assure we enjoyed our stay. It's always nice to stay at a place where you feel like your staying with friends! A to Derrick and the entire staff!

I was very disappointed with my experience. When we checked in, the receptionist was not friendly at all and seemed more interested in chatting with the staff than assisting us. Communication was lacking, which made it difficult to fully enjoy my stay. I expected more transparency and better service. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless improvements are made.

Front desk was very helpful. We were pulling a travel trailer on across multiple states and stop here as a halfway point. Once we arrived in the town our truck started acting up and it was Sunday so there were no mechanics available. They allowed us to unhook the trailer on Monday and take care of getting the truck in a shop for repair and organizing someone to come move the trailer out of the hotel parking lot. They were very understanding and patient and it really mattered in that stressful situation. Thank you to all the staff that were so kind!

Derrick at the Front Desk provided us the best customer service we have ever experienced. He went above and beyond to welcome us to the hotel and made sure our experience was outstanding. We were traveling across country on a stressful trip situation and had about 100 hotels to choose from in this area. We called this hotel for general information but we were so delighted with his friendliness and attitude on the phone we didn’t even look anywhere else. To make things better Derrick greeted us at the door when we arrived and asked if we are alright. He seemed genuinely worried about us and we are still grateful for his kind demeanor and outstanding level of service. Top notch customer service from start and throughout the stay The hotel itself is just so nice and would highly recommend it if you find yourself traveling on I-10 through Mobile It has a great bar and restaurant..nice pool and comfy beds..all you can ask for ..and to to top it off an employee named Derrick!!

My room was perfect for my 5 night stay. Clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were amazing! The most friendly, hospitable and caring staff each day and night! The food was yummy, especially breakfast! I wasn’t there for a “fun” trip, I was there to visit a terminally ill close friend. Each and every staff member made me feel cared for and taken care of. They all deserve to be recognized! Let’s make sure that everyone who works there, stays together as the teams that they are! I will ALWAYS come back here not only for the room, but especially for the staff! I’ve made incredible new friends! Way to go Hilton Garden Inn Daphne, Alabama! Thank you!!
