What a special little hotel of 14 rooms this place is. It's about 8 miles outside of downtown Juneau, but they run shuttles to and from town and the airport all day. The rooms are big and really nice, with jacuzzi tubs; lots of towels, waters, DirectTV, etc. A full breakfast is included.

I really liked the hotel. It was very unique. The room we were in was very spacious, had a fireplace and jetted tub. The Continental breakfast was homemade and delicious. We ate dinner there one evening and the food was very good. All the staff was very Cordial and attentive. The one thing that was really a downside was the shuttle van. It was not dependable. Twice when we were supposed to be picked up at the hotel, they were late, by 30 minutes one time. Another time we called from town and they were supposedly coming then we find out no we have to wait till the allotted time so we ended up waiting an hour and a half to get picked up , so that was disappointing

For a $400 price the facilities are very limited. It is a bed and breakfast, with limited dining options in the vicinity. We were there in July 4th when everything was closed. There is no elevator and I had to carry my heavy suitcase up the stairs.

The room was a nice room, but could’ve used a couple of foot stools and more options to hang clothing, especially wet clothing. Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful and enjoyable to talk to you. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay thank you to the staff

Super clean, nicely upgraded and well maintained older building was the perfect getaway while in Juneau, especially compared to other places to stay that we passed by in the area. Convenient to Safeway and airport was a plus. Few units made it homey and quiet. Breakfast could have had a little more variety.

This is a small, hotel — unlike the usual Best Western- with a very nice room and excellent breakfast with two made-to-order options, plus pre-packaged and previously prepared stuff. The only thing that took some getting used to was the sink-shower-toilet arrangement, which were not together in a separate bathroom but lined up on one wall of the room. (The toilet with a door, the shower with a curtain, and the sink next to that.). Not a big hassle, just odd. Overall, we were very pleased.

We had a great stay at Best Western Grandma's Feather Bed. They have a free breakfast room service and a free airport shuttle and that's why we chose them. The room was really clean and comfortable. The shower was the best I've had in any hotel. I would give 5 stars and definitely book with them again. Oh, and they have air conditioning which a lot of place in the area do not.

We enjoyed our stay here. My only complaint was the squeak in the floor above our room (135) and the horrendous noise of the what may have been the Jacquizzi in room above (at 2:30 in the morning). I also suggest allowing guests to order breakfast later than 8:30 am. We prefer to eat breakfast around 10 am.

What a special little hotel of 14 rooms this place is. It's about 8 miles outside of downtown Juneau, but they run shuttles to and from town and the airport all day. The rooms are big and really nice, with jacuzzi tubs; lots of towels, waters, DirectTV, etc. A full breakfast is included.

We needed a day room after our cruise and before our redeye home that night. Extremely convenient to the airport! About a three minute ride and courtesy Transportation was an added bonus, especially at 12:30 AM! Our room was spacious and comfortable. However, the shower situation was a little odd… No privacy whatsoever! The shower was basically in the bedroom. The front desk staff was courteous and accommodating. Our room was not ready so we were able to stow our bags and go into town for a bit. Even though the airport is very close by the hotel, downtown was not! $30 Uber ride to and from the downtown area.

Excellent staff. Cheerful & helpful. Very comfortable beds & plenty of linens & towels. Very clean. Quiet. Only downsides were a lowered ceiling over the bed that a taller person could hit their head. Also not a fan of the non private bathing & dressing area incorporated in the bedroom. 4 1/2 stars

Grandma’s Feather Bed is a charming place to enjoy for your pre or post cruise stay or if you are enjoying a few days in this area of Alaska! Service was excellent and very attentive. The hotel manager, Galyna, assisted with any special request without any hesitance and was a pleasure to meet. The complimentary breakfast was lovely and the omelette was on my list of “Best Ever”! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

We have stayed in room 202 for the second time and we have absolutely loved it. But the driver that we have gotten both times were not very helpful in answering questions about the town. Other than that it was a absolutely wonderful place to visit

The staff was very nice and accommodating. Even the shuttle driver was very helpful and went out of his way to help us with our luggage. Our room was cozy, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was really good there. The cook was so nice, she came out and talked with us made sure the food was good and if we needed anything else. She was delightful.

Non-traditional hotel layout, but rooms were pristine. Continental breakfast included made-to-order pancakes, eggs, etc. Dining area was very clean. There were no nearby restaurants or stores, so it wouldn't be convenient without a form of transportation (except airport shuttle).
