Hotel Ca' dei Conti

We were in the annexe. Our room was very large, with a seperate dressing area and bathroom area. Included kettle tea and coffee and mini bar. Very comfy bed and extra seating was nice to have too. Would benefit from having bed side lamps. Had a few access passcode issues to enter in the evening but other wise was a perfect stay with a great location!

AC stopped working multiple times. Room was outside the facility. You can hear public talking at night out side while sleeping.

Gave impression of being understaffed. Terrace bar not manned. Difficulty with getting service at the bar. On arrival/departure no help available to assist with luggage up and down the stairs to the hotel Very friendly staff Breakfast adequate.

Breakfast was great and the pancake maker was a hit. Our room was quiet and large and had a sitting area, but it was across the bridge from the main hotel. We had to use three separate keys to get in, which was annoying. The location is conveniently near San Marco, but the streets twist and turn so I always had to use Google maps to find our way back.

My wife and I stayed here in May. As far as location and accessibility to some of the best sites and activites in Venice, it was great. Restaurants abundant nearby as well, along with shopping. The room was okay. Good size but overall very dated. We were located right next to the first floor door of the hotel’s secondary building. This meant we heard the main access door open every single time. This really took away from the enjoyment of the room. Walls seemed quite thin on top of this which just made it worse. Cleanliness however was great. I found the front desk service a bit unmotivated and despondant in all of the times I spoke to them. Not super helpful or friendly which made me just not want to deal with them much more than just checking in and out. A couple times when walking into the main lobby there was nobody manning the desk at all, and it took a while for somebody to come out from the back room. There was a fire alarm that went off in our building (the secondary building) and when myself and other patrons went to the main building to see if anybody was responding to this, nobody was even there. When the hotel employee did come to the front desk, he wasn’t even aware there was a fire alarm going off in the other building. That seemed like quite a safety issue so despite it not being a real fire in the end, it was a bit frightening to know that the alarm didn’t trigger any response from staff until hotel stayers made their way to the main building to report it.

The hotel is a beautiful old hotel located minutes away from Piazza San Marco. In addition, there are a number of cafes a short distance from the hotel. We found the staff to be very accommodating as well. There is an outdoor patio on the 3rd floor where we brought a bottle of wine and met other couples from various countries. Upon request, the hotel will also serve drinks as well. The breakfast was ok but I'm not evaluating the hotel on a free breakfast.

Staff very good, but feel they are understaffed. The Terrace Bar has no permanent staff and you have to wait a very long to get service. We had an upgrade.

O viajante deve considerar o fato de que a maioria dos quartos do Hotel não fica na edificacão principal e sim em uma edificação modesta e distante 80 metros do hotel. As acomodações são espartanas contendo o básico. O mesmo aplica- se ao café da manhã que está localizado fora do edifício principal. O café está aquém de um hotel 4 estrelas. Muito básico e com qualidade inferior. Acredito que nos arredores encontra-se hotéis com preço similar e qualidade bem superior. Pratos e talheres não são lavados adequadamente. funciona com

Went as a solo traveller stayed in new annex building just round corner from main hotel room was clean bathroom was more than ample and had bedroom at split level which was great windows overlooking the canal. Breakfast had some hot and cold options and good coffee couldn’t ask for more. Had a great stay staff were very attentive and friendly, close to at marks and great restaurants and shops. Felt very safe and well looked after. Would definitely plan to come back again. 😊

Hadde 2 overnattinger her. Pga uvær, kom vi kl.03 på natten, men resepsjonen var åpen. Valgte å ringe på forhånd, noe de satte pris på. Kom dog til en mørklagt resepsjon. Meget god service fra resepsjonen, da vi forhørte oss om spisested vi hadde bestilt. De frarådet steder som het restaurant og pizzeria i samme navn. Resepsjonisten tok oppdraget med å finne og bestille bord på restaurant for oss. Det angret vi ikke på. Fikk hjelp med bagasjetransport fra hotellet, til taxibåten ved avreise. Rommet helt middels. Liten frokostsal med begrenset frokostbuffé. Liten skuffelse der, men helt ok. Takterrasse hvor man kan nyte frokosten, kaffekopp eller en drink på ettermiddagen. Ingen utsikt å skryte av.

Muy amable el personal del hotel, nos ayudaron con nuestras dudas del viaje. La habitación muy pequeña pero está completamente limpio y la cama confortante para descansar.

Typical hotel you find in Venice, old rooms but bathroom was updated and modern. Overall the room and hotel was very clean, and in a good location. Would recommend. Only downside is we booked a triple room with 3 single beds, but one bed was a rollaway one (not expected, according to the description) but not a big deal for us.

the breakfast was pretty good and the location is good. the view of the canal was amazing. the service started well but got worse. there was a dirty washrag in the bath when we arrived. at night it was hot and we asked if there was a way to lower the AC. the concierge stated that the air had been turned off for the season and encouraged us to open the windows. unfortunately, that let in several mosquitos because there were no screens. we called down once more to see if anything else can be done and the concierge hung up on us. to top it all off, we woke up with bumps all over our skin and thought it was just mosquito bites but realized after we’d checked out that they were bed bug bites. we wanted to die

Lovely hotel in a quiet area but very close to St. Mark’s square. Room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Would recommend.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, and cleaned well daily. Linens were good quality and plentiful. Close to everything. 5 mins or leas to San Marco, the ferry, shopping and several other piazzas.

The hotel is quaintly positioned on a canal and has beautiful elegant rooms. Unfortunately the room was humid and warm- the air conditioning was set to 20’C but did not go below 25’C and with the humidity, it made for a less than comfortable stay/sleep. In fact everything felt damp and the room was musty. The breakfast had some options but after a few days, it was not that appealing and was a disappointment considering the food in Italy is usually delicious. Overall, a great location, a pretty hotel but underwhelming on the basics, especially for the price.

Beautiful hotel, spacious, beautiful room for a family of 4 with a fantastic breakfast!

Pros: location, friendly staff cons: building was too rustic and had a poor layout. First floor rooms open directly to lobby. Second floor rooms open directly to dining room. Third floor rooms are best. Rooms in the attic have angled ceilings that are challenging for people 6 ft tall and claustrophobic. We had two rooms and, even with air conditioning at full blast, the temperature seemed to be a constant 80 degrees and that made it more difficult to fall asleep at night. Granted, it was mid-July and 100 degrees outside, but the other 4-star hotels we stayed at in Italy had excellent air conditioning. Between the layout, the a/c, and the tiny showers, we would rate this more like a 2.5-3.0 stars, depending on the room you get. Again, the staff is amazing, so I want to be clear that it's only the physical property that wasn't our favorite.

El hotel es muy elegante, lo unico malo es que hacia mucho calor yab que por temporada no tienen aire acondicionado

Lovely staff and excellent rooms.

This hotel had old European charm in the heart of Venice. The staff was very accommodating in helping us find dining locations and baggage transfers over the canals and bridges encountered in getting to their location. The breakfast buffet was extensive and compared favorably to American facilities.

Unfortunately, my recent stay at Hotel Ca’ dei Conti was disappointing. My two friends and I were placed in a room with no functioning air conditioning during the peak of summer. Despite being polite and respectful in asking for help, we were met with rude, dismissive staff who showed no willingness to offer a solution or even acknowledge the discomfort we expressed. The room was extremely hot, stuffy, and uncomfortable to sleep in, with no airflow whatsoever. For the price point and the hotel’s advertised standards, this was not what we expected. The lack of basic hospitality and care from the staff made the experience even worse. Venice in July is hard enough without air conditioning, but what made this truly disappointing was how poorly the situation was handled. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re guaranteed a properly functioning room and better treatment.

this hotel far exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was perfect to even the more expensive restaurants and the staff was so friendly and made everything easier for us even helped us carry our bags to our rooms. We spent about 10 days in Italy and this was by far the best service we had

Like: It’s near the attractions. Dislike: The bearded receptionist is not tourist-friendly. He was probably too condescending or racist. He should be thought how to be polite to people. While speaking with us, I heard him mention the word “puta” to the other receptionist. I hope it doesn’t mean the same in Spanish. The other guys were nice.

Great hotel and very nice staff. It has that old Venice feel that you might like being in Venice. Great breakfast which was included and the location is perfect. Right next to the main spots in Venice. Def recommend.

The staff was great. Our ac wasnt working at first but it was fixed quickly and cooled the room. The breakfast had a good variety of items.
