This was a wonderful visit. Nice little area and easy to get to. However it says amenities included is pool but you have to pay for it. It's actually water park which is nice. I just wish I knew beforehand.

Overall ok for a family trip. Some of the downsides: loudness in the hallways and paper thin walls, cleanliness could be better - old drips visible on bathroom walls and showerhead was downright gross, I was afraid the shower handle was going to fall off in my hand. Plus sides: hotel guest discount to the waterpark, excellent breakfast options and service, and every staff member encountered was wonderful. Ample parking, overall fairly safe - but there was what appeared to be a homeless man living in his car in the waterpark parking lot, which is crazy that hasn’t been addressed. We stayed a Thursday and Friday night. Definitely busier on the Friday, but reasonable crowds to deal with in the waterpark.

We liked the water park and pool and it was convenient being we were traveling with our 12 year old grandson. It was advertised that they had a game room but that was not available due to renovations. The breakfast was pretty cold but it was fine for hotel breakfast.

Hotel needs some updating for the price of rooms, also paying for the water park when you are a hotel guest seems crazy. That is the whole reason we stayed there but you still had to pay. Casino is small and only a few updated machines.

The water park has very limited hours in the winter like 10am to 5pm. There are slot machines on the property. You do get a discount for the waterpark ($12). There is a playground, 2 slides and a small wave pool.Rooms were decent. But they didn't have enough towels for us. The breakfast was hot-french toast sticks and a patty with egg, potoato and cheese in it. It had the usual cereal,yogurt, coffee and juice. .

The breakfast could have been better and the pool should be included not extra. The cove was fun but be careful games cost between 6 to 15 tickets a peice and 40 points is $20.

Actually a nice place, just undergoing construction, which makes it a little dirtier and noisier than I think it would normally be. Plus the water park is closed down too, which we didnt know about when booking online. Fortunately they did have a small pool and hottub open....but they werent super clean (from construction likely) and they was some kind of machine running making a horrible loud noise, so we did use the hottub, but not for very long, because of it. We would stay again, but call first to see if construction is over and water park is open. I think then, it will be a very nice place. Staff was very friendly.

The first room I checked into had poop on the bathroom counter. They moved us to a different room. We got our baby to sleep and pulled back the sheets to crawl in bed and the sheets had red stains on them. Someone’s hair was all over the shower and the towels were previously used. Clearly neither room we were offered had been cleaned.

This hotel is in dire need of upgrades. The air conditioner in our room was incredibly noisy and the room itself wasn’t very clean- dirty towel from previous guests behind furniture, greasy hand marks all over the doors, walls that you can tell haven’t been cleaned, a broken window held together with tape, and the hotel itself is just old. There was next to nothing for breakfast choices and the price of the rooms doesn’t include use of the Reef. I had to visit the front desk three different times because the keys to our room wouldn’t work. We stay in Billings frequently, but we won’t ever be staying here again.

We stayed here during the Big Sky State Games, but unfortunately, I don’t plan on returning. Upon check in was put in a room that was falling apart. Found bug in room. Came down and asked if we could switch rooms as the room they first put us in was right next to elevator and teenagers were loud a d running all night. Got switched to a better room on first floor. However i dont find the bed comfortable at all.. its too too firm and i am used to a pillow top bed. I would have preferred a rug instead of hardwood flooring. Walls are super thin can hear eveything. Gap at door entrance is huge so light is coming in. I switched rooms because i didn't want to get blame for the broken things and have them charge me for it

I used to love the Big Horn and was so disappointed that the room I stayed in was so run down. You could see the mattress through the sheets and the towels felt like old dish towels that lost their fluff. The curtains did not close right and it could use a good cleaning. However, the deal staff were super friendly and breakfast smelled good though I did mot eat. For the price, this property needs some serious work!

Room was newly renovated, very good for the price. Disappointed i had to pay extra for the watermark, but was a great time. Room was clean, but hallway was very loud in the morning and breakfast was only till 9am. So, if your an early riser no issues there. Overall good experience, would stay here again. Thanks!

I absolutely loved the staff and the guy that was checking me in was extremely friendly. Extremely knowledgeable about his hotel and the things that happen in it. He was very prompt and he knew exactly the right details to tell me. I definitely have never had better customer service than I did with this check-in. I appreciate a good, easy fast checking like that to the point. All the details 😁

Staff was short when we asked questions. If you want the pool don't go here. The pool is part of the water park attached to the hotel and there is an added fee during park hours. The pool has no reliable schedule outside park hours. Overpriced and poor care. I can excuse some renovation but rudeness is not okay.

The room was not ready when I arrived at 4:45. I had to wait approximately 30 minutes for the room to be cleaned even though check-in started at 3 PM. Additionally, the room cost $250 and was definitely not worth that amount. I would say it was comparable to a $125 room.

Worst check in ever. Arrived at 11pm to locked lobby doors , had to bang the door to get the receptionist to unlock from behind the counter. When I walked in she asked what can I do for you ? For Pete sake ! Took her almost a half hour to get me checked in , to many mundane questions that need not be asked . Went back outside to get my luggage, yep doors were locked again and I had to bang on them again to get her to open them . Stupid !

We were put in a room close to the loby, it was very loud at all hours. Tried to get breakfast several times but it was empty each time. When asked for 2 extra towels as there was only 2 in the room, they asked if we were staying another night before giving them to us.

The lobby had a Topographic map of the state and the excellent artwork in the room was not standard boring. The Staff was so polite! We were well taken care of here. The price was very reasonable and the view...oh, the view!

The hotel is connected to a great indoor water park, maybe the best I've see. It's very close to Zoo Montana. There's even a cool looking arcade, though we ran out of time to check it out. The breakfast is pretty good and it serves until 10. There's also a nice yard area in the back. So that's a lot to like. Nothing else about the hotel really blew me away, but I wasn't looking for that. As far as a family experience with a young child goes, it was everything I wanted and nothing I didn't. Will likely be back.

Noise from room above. Had to finally call desk at 11 pm and she called the room upstairs. Need a hot breakfast during the week, not just for weekend guest. This property has gone downhill since we last stayed here.

I felt that the room was pretty run down for the price. The mattress was comfortable though and the room was nice and quiet. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was large and busy with only one girl to prepare the food, restock the food and restock the coffee. It left her running around trying to keep up and the breakfast area in a constant state of needing refreshing. Between the room, the water park and concession snack we spent about $350 for the one night and time at the water park.

Some of the downsides: loudness in the hallways and paper thin walls, cleanliness could be better - old drips visible on bathroom walls and showerhead was downright gross, I was afraid the shower handle was going to fall off in my hand. Plus sides: hotel guest discount to the waterpark, excellent breakfast options and service, and every staff member encountered was wonderful. Ample parking, overall fairly safe - but there was what appeared to be a homeless man living in his car in the waterpark parking lot, which is crazy that hasn’t been addressed. We stayed a Thursday and Friday night. Definitely busier on the Friday, but reasonable crowds to deal with in the waterpark.

We enjoyed our two night stay. The staff was amazing! Breakfast was typical buffet food but it was hot and yummy. Only complaint was it was a little noisy due to kids at the water park. Even that wasn’t overly annoying. Price was lower than others.

The water park has very limited hours in the winter like 10am to 5pm. There are slot machines on the property. You do get a discount for the waterpark ($12). There is a playground, 2 slides and a small wave pool.Rooms were decent. But they didn't have enough towels for us. The breakfast was hot-french toast sticks and a patty with egg, potoato and cheese in it. It had the usual cereal,yogurt, coffee and juice. .

We're middle aged travelers and got a free $10 game card to visit the arcade. Us 80s babies had a great time playing Pacman, air hockey and ski ball. Very quiet and safe. Super comfy bed and shower. Powerful shower. Breakfast of hash browns patties, French toast sticks, eggs, yogurt, cereal, fruit, so good. Didn't like having a knock on the door saying housekeeping at 9:20 when checkout was at 11. I said we're still here. Seemed very pushy. But we had a good stay.

Stayed there with my family. On the day of check-out (check-out time is 11am), at 10am housekeeping knocked twice then walked in without identifying themselves. Husband said we’d be out by 11am. Again at 10:45am, housekeeping knocked and entered without identifying themselves while I was walking around NAKED and my teenage girls were getting dressed. I expressed my concern to the front desk when I checked out at 11am and he completely disregarded my concern. Later I called to inform the manager of my concerns and was told I’d receive a call back. Over a week later and 3 phone calls to them and I have yet to receive a call back.

When we arrived, the front staff was very accommodating and helpful. Unfortunately, we had to wait for our room to be finished cleaning, and when we get into our room the shower had not been cleaned. Wet towels and open bottles of toiletries. The pillows are paper thin, so very uncomfortable to sleep. The bathroom could use a remodel; the paint was chipping off of the bottom of the door like it had been flooded. The continental breakfast was not good. Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again.
