This is a wonderful hotel! Such great service. Great location due to its proximity to being walking distance from Roma Termini Station and many other tourist sites. A very nice breakfast bar is included. The only minor issue was that the elevator was out of order but we are healthy enough to do stairs. Quaint room. Loved how the window can be opened wide to look out on the active city below. I can virtually guarantee that you’ll be happy with staying here. Thank you for making our first days and nights in Rome so great!

The first room was bad, next to a restaurant. We could hear people celebrating, laughing, singing Happy Birthday, talking loud. You would think the walls were made of cardboard in this hotel, the building is so old. We asked for another room, no restaurant noise but noise from fans or generator, we didn't know, the noise kept coming and going. Then the walls were covered with old fabrics that were faded and stained in some places. The bathroom room is long, narrow with a shower without a shower head but with a very poorly organized shower telephone. Lots of corrosion at the bottom of the shower door (never cleaned I think) and mold at the bottom of the walls because poorly maintained, but no unpleasant smell. Sink tap almost no cold water. The ordinary lunch nothing more, which was reminiscent of lunches served USA style, but no eggs, no fruit salad, just ordinary bread for toasting, cereals with almost lukewarm milk and orange juice made with water. And what's more, the elevator didn't work, you had to take the stairs. They say that a 4 star in Canada is a 3 star in Europe. We had a 3 star, so a 2 star in Canada, that gives you a little idea... Too bad the staff was helpful, but the rest, no way...

We stayed at the flower garden hotel on our last night in Rome. It is conveniently located next to the main train terminal and all of the sites of downtown Rome. We found the room to be clean and comfortable. The staff was kind enough to store our luggage so we could tour during our last day and pick up our bags before we left. We highly recommend this hotel.

Had a lovely experience at this small hotel. The place is very central (about a 20 min walk to the Trevi fountain and colosseum.) The room was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, they provided a safe (which is great because other places charge for this!) The bed was okay, the pillows were a little bit thin for my liking but as soon as I asked for other ones they were provided and they were a bit more plump! The shower is very small but that seems to be the general theme Italy! They provided free luggage storage if your check in/out times don’t align with your arrival/departure. They were also kind enough to provided a bathroom to freshen up before our next train! Overall very positive experience and would stay again! My only suggestion would be to get comfier pillows!

This rating comes mainly from Ferdinando, who worked at the front desk and was nothing but amazing for our whole stay, especially with my elderly nonna who was travelling with us. The location is among the best in my opinion, a quick walk to all the main attractions but still not too busy, and also close to the station. The facilities were not bad, the hotel has a nice elevator, but the rooms themselves were not the best I’ve stayed in, though what you might expect from a 3-star hotel, so no complaints. Overall, we had a good time.

The hotel is in a great location, near the train station and walkable to major sites. Staff was friendly and helpful, only draw back is the lift was out of order and we had to get staff to help with the bags. Otherwise, it’s a cute small hotel.

We had a great stay at Hotel Flower Garden overall! The hotel and its facilities were clean and well-kept. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, our bathroom had a slight sewage smell - not sure where it was coming from (closing the bathroom door helped at night but the smell was still there when we used the bathroom again in the morning). There was some road noise, which we didn’t mind - but it is something to take note of if you prefer silence (although many hotels in Rome are on busy streets). The hotel’s best feature was its location - it is close to the metro (Repubblica station), Roma Termini (major train station), and Colosseum (20-25 min walk), which was very convenient. The front desk staff who helped us, Edward, was very friendly, very helpful, and made us feel welcome during our short stay. Thank you Edward!

Personale cordiale e disponibile ma struttura vecchia e malandata (muffe sulla carta da parati, macchie e infissi rotti). Al nostro arrivo la stanza non era pulita e soprattutto nel bagno (piastrelle delle pareti del bagno, vasca e mobile del lavandino) c'erano peli e capelli di altri. Dopo la nostra lamentela la camera è stata pulita di nuovo il giorno dopo ma sempre in modo superficiale, ho dovuto io asportare i peli altrui dalla vasca e dalle pareti del bagno. Ciliegina sulla torta: la nostra stanza affacciava su un malandato terrazzino interno pieno di condizionatori con lo scarico del ristorante cinese adicente... Si poteva aprire la finestra da mezzanotte in poi causa forte odore di fritto. Frigobar "rovente" non funzionante, tenda della doccia ammuffita e sporca e finestra del bagno bloccata. Strapagato e non all'altezza delle tre stelle. Peccato perchè lo staff è cordiale e la posizione ottima .

We loved our stay! The hotel is very close to Termini station and several bus stops. The room is cleaned daily, and the private bathroom is large and comfortable. A special mention to the receptionist Ferdinando, who welcomed us with great joy and enthusiasm! When we return to Rome, we will certainly stay at this hotel again. The room was clean on arrival and cleaned everyday which was great. Location is very good, close to Termini station so transport links available (metro/trains). There are many restaurants in the area just outside the hotel and the train station with many shops around too. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Hotel staff and Fernando were fantastic. The room was a decent size, clean and close to many amenities. My only reason for scoring lower was because Rome was very hot for a few days and the hotel advertises it has AC but I wouldn’t even call it a fan. I had a few sleepless night because of the heat and ended up switching hotels just so I could get rested to enjoy my trip. Had the AC been functioning I would have enjoyed my stay more and even would have considered staying again in the future but some amenities are more important.

A very good property and very friendly staff. Good location. Great local security measures. The only issue was street noise whereby the Italian restaurant below always wants people to be outside and loud so it is impossible to find any form of quietness until after midnight.

Close to termini train station. Small room. We stayed in 4 beds room. No space to move around or open bags in room. Room looked dated/old. Wallpaper and curtains stained. Bathroom was ok but shower cubicle too small. Water pressure was low. No electric kettle or tea/coffee sachets in room

O quarto é pequeno, sem aquecedor ou ar condicionado. Apesar disso, estava numa temperatura agradável. Não possuía amenidades nem sabonete para o banho. Foi possível deixar a mala na recepção antes do check in e depois do check out. O cafe da manhã possui apenas o básico, sem muitas variedades. Poderia ser melhor.

The room was great, very comfortable. We could hear a lot of the noise from outside but that was probably because it was Saturday night and a lot was happening It quieted down at a reasonable hour. And it was actually nice to hear the live band outside.

The breakfasts were hearty with a self run espresso-cappuccino machine and nice assortment of meats, cheeses, and pastries. Many nice outdoor restaurants nearby with fantastic food. The staff and in particular Fernando and Eduard, were very helpful and particularly with my friends medicinal emergergeny which require immediate transport to a nearby hospital and suggestions for transport on follow-up care. They made all the difference.

This rating comes mainly from Ferdinando, who worked at the front desk and was nothing but amazing for our whole stay, especially with my elderly nonna who was travelling with us. The location is among the best in my opinion, a quick walk to all the main attractions but still not too busy, and also close to the station. The facilities were not bad, the hotel has a nice elevator, but the rooms themselves were not the best I’ve stayed in, though what you might expect from a 3-star hotel, so no complaints. Overall, we had a good time.

Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Merita una menzione lo staff e in particolare Ferdinando che con il suo sorriso e la sua simpatia ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole.

This hotel was a bargain. The location is great, very close to the train station, and within reasonable walking distance to many of the famous sights of Rome. Breakfast is pretty poor for the price, very limited selection, coffee machine was not working one of the days. We had to leave at 0650 for a flight on the last morning and despite the breakfast pastries having been delivered (we could see this) the staff would not let us take anything with us for breakfast as ‘service hadn’t started’ despite the fact we’d paid for it. If your room is at the front of the property, be prepared for loud music from the street below in the evening/until 2200ish.

This small, boutique-style hotel is a GEM. Literally steps from Termini Station, it presents as unassuming from the outside, but it was immaculately clean, the room was exactly as advertised, and the staff truly outstanding. For the price, I don't think you would find a better value for a hotel in Rome. Obviously, no one will confuse this hotel with the St Regis, but as a 1-3 night place to stay, pre or post cruise, it's a dream. Located so close to the major attractions of ancient Rome, you can easily walk (or take a scooter or ebike) to your desired ruin. Honestly, the only thing I would criticize is the AC system. At least in my room, it was is a tad outdated, and it did take a few minutes to completely cool the room, but it wasn't awful at all. In the Hotel's defense, I was there during the absolutely crushing heat wave of August 2026, which, I'm sure, didn't help, so it is understandable if the AC was slightly sluggish to cool my room. Aside from that minor issue, and it was truly minor, this Hotel ticks all the boxes for a safe, comfortable stay at an insanely affordable price.
