The hotel is ran down ans definitely not worth the price. They have rooms on the 6th floor but the elevator only goes to the 4th floor.

Hotel itself was great, the staff is great, lost of good places to eat around the hotel and the train station is literally a minute walk away. Do not recommend if you have a stroller and are staying on the 5th or 6th floor. Elevator (which is tiny) only goes up to 4th floor. Other than that had an amazing stay

I find it inadmissible to have rooms on 6 floors but an elevator that goes only up to the fourth floor, AND not disclose it to Expedia so that the customer can make an informed decision. My room was on the 6th floor, I had to lift two heavy suitcases 2 floors on two occasions and I would have preferred not to do this. Had I known, I would have either chosen a different room or chosen a different hotel. What made things worst, there was no staff to assist with this. My room was also pretty beaten up.

Hotel muito bem localizado. Considerando os padrões de hotelaria em Paris, este hotel se torna uma boa pedida. O quarto é confortável, mas é antigo. O café da manhã bem simples. O elevador só vai até o 4° andar, fiquei hospedado no 6° com 03 malas grandes. Realmente um hotel 03 estrelas.

The room was good, just needs a little tidy up with marks on the walls. Our room was on the top floor, level 6. The elevator only went to level 4, similar we had to walk up two flights of stairs. Breakfast was basic but good.

Lovely little hotel in Vaneau. There's a Metro less than half a block. The rooms are small but it is Paris so it is very comfortable. They do have a lift for the first 4 floors but you need to walk up a couple of flights if you're on the 5 or 6 floors. Easy access to St Germain restaurants and a good walk from all the major attractions. very friendly and helpful staff that speak multiple languages

The staff were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful with any request. The hotel is walkable to cafes and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here. The hotel room was spacious for Europe and very clean.

Hotel Vaneau is quiet and very comfortable. The room and bathroom are a nice size. We appreciated the bathrobes and in room tea/coffee. They have a lovely breakfast in a sunny main floor area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our 5 nights and would stay there again.

Nice and cozy place to stay with excellent personnel at front desk. There are three things recommended for improvement which are the elevator that at the most is for 3 max with carryon luggage and the alternative is to use the stairs which is a good workout session. Second the shower that is very very very small/narrow and third improve cleaning because I had to clean the shower because of visible mold. Hope this areas can improve because overall the hotel has a good location, well decorated and good breakfast.

The room was very clean! Bath robes were provided. There was great lighting in the bathroom especially if you have to do makeup. The staff was really friendly and even kept our luggage before and after our check in and check out times. I will definitely stay here again

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Our room had a balcony which was perfect. The only negatives were the blue daylight bulbs in the lamps - we had to drape clothing over them to soften the light, and the tiny shower cubicle. Other than that, perfect and we would definitely book here again… as long as we can have the same room!

The good: Staff was friendly, breakfast was good and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel had easy access to transportation and it was close to Paris’ main attractions. The bad: Our room was on the sixth floor. The property only has a very small elevator to the 4th floor. So we had to use stairs and carry our luggage ourselves in the last two floors. The elevator broke one day, thankfully they fixed it that same day. Also, since our room was on the last floor, it was hot, so we had to open the windows. We had to choose between having a hot room or having noice coming in from the streets.

It was right next to the metro which was convenient. Also close to many great areas for shopping and eating. Beds were comfortable but room felt old. Also shower was extremely small. Overall experience was great and would stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights and it was perfect. Great location, within steps of the Vaneau Metro. Really nice neighbourhood and walking distance to the Seine /sights etc. Our room had a small balcony over looking the street which was nice. Shutters and black out curtains were a bonus. Room slightly dated decor wise but nice and clean, the beds were very comfortable and bed linen soft, good aircon which made for a great sleep. Some street noise but to be expected! Bathroom modern and super clean. Took breakfast one morning which was okay, nice Nespresso coffee machine with choice of pods. Really lovely friendly staff on check in and during our stay. Overall a good stay and would stay again.

The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They were able to provide us with directions, iron/ironing board and answered all of our questions. I appreciate that a cold water dispenser is available at any time to fill our water bottles. The hotel is located next to Vaneau metro which makes it convenient. It is also walkable to all attractions and shopping. There is a grocery store 1 minute from the hotel. The beds were comfortable - we slept well every night.

Front desk was 24hours. English speaking. Very helpful/knowledgeable with all questions and suggestions. They were able to book taxi back to the airport. Metro station very close! We walked 12-15 miles a day, so what a relief to have a 2min walk from the station at the end of the day :)

The frontdesk & reservation department are rude & inflexible, they charged full although i arrived one day late due to cancelled flight and called them, they still charged as a no show. Very ignorant people, will never ever stay there again

Great location, lovely hotel facilities. I enjoyed the quick breakfast in the morning and the friendly staff. Hadger at front desk was excellent and always guided us on how to stay safe in Paris and utilize our time wisely during our travels through Paris. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Staff was very helpful in giving directions and taking care of our bags. Had a wonderful stay here. There's a cafe right outside which was also great for breakfast. Would recommend for anyone looking in the Vaneau area

Staff was very helpful in giving directions and taking care of our bags. Had a wonderful stay here. There's a cafe right outside which was also great for breakfast. Would recommend for anyone looking in the Vaneau area

The room was extremely clean and for a three star hotel hotel very good. The problem was with the bathtub. The tub is very high and difficult to get in, especially for seniors. My husband fell while trying to get in. Also there should be a rubber mat as the floor of tub is slippery. When I asked about a mat the man at the reception was rather curt and said you didn’t have any. Not very polite. Perhaps on France people don’t sue, if a guest were to get hurt. Buying mats would be a very small expense to solve a potentially very expensive one, should someone take you to court. Otherwise a very nice place to stay!

I recently stayed for two nights at Hotel Vaneau in Paris and unfortunately, I must say that I was not impressed. There were several issues that we experienced during our stay that made it less than enjoyable. Firstly, during check-in, we were told off for arriving one hour early and sent away. When we returned at 1:55 pm, our room was not ready, and we had to wait while the cleaning lady was running all over the place doing everything rushed. Next, the breakfast experience was disappointing. On the first morning at 9 am, half of the trays were empty, and the hotel manager arrived with a bag of croissants from a bakery, serving only half of the bag. The selection was small, and the general quality was low. It looked like pastries bought from a cheap supermarket. When I asked for green tea, I was denied at first, and only after asking again did it suddenly appear from a cabinet in a closed box. We paid £13 per person per day for breakfast that was not good. Any café in the neighborhood would’ve been cheaper and better quality. The room also had some issues. There was a strong smell, but only in our room, not outside. Additionally, during the night, it was quite difficult to get to sleep because we could hear the banging from upstairs as well as the conversations in the room next door. Furthermore, the shower products were empty. During check-out, when I was asked if everything was ok during our stay, I shared my experience with the noise. The response was, “you must be ver

We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely hotel, big room and very well located. The quarter is excellent for walking as it is not far from anywhere. I would only barely complaint about that the breakfast was sometimes missing some products, like eggs ham or cheese if you show up around 9 30 or 10 am.

Excellent location with lots of restaurants within walking distance, shopping, metro, and some tourist attractions. The breakfast was perfect to start our day. Yogurt, fresh fruit, tea/coffee, pastries/bread, sliced meats and eggs. Hotel was clean and quiet and the rooms were a fair size. Would definitely stay here again.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana solo pernottamento senza colazione ma ci siamo trovati benissimo, la stanza era deliziosa e pulita, il bagno confortevole e spazioso, temperatura ottima, zona ben collegata e tranquilla. Unica pecca non c'era un frigobar ma nn è stato un problema per noi. Torneremo sicuramente!

Dynamic Pricing: the price was much higher owing to Fashion Week adding insult to injury. I booked this hotel for 8 days on the basis of misleading photos. Our favorite hotel did not have rooms for us. ERROR! The hotel is nothing like what is in the photos. 1. Hotel is old and on a street that is very dirty with trash and cigarette butts at the curb. Carpet on the 5th floor is stained and smelly. Elevator is very slow. Guests compete with maids for its use. 2. The rooms are VERY small. There is hardly a foot between the end of the bed and the faux mantle. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. Bed is hard and pillows are not memorable. We woke up every morning with backaches. The small desk offers a useful surface, but does not compensate for the absence of floor space. There is one chair by the desk but it is difficult to push it back for lack of room. 3. The shower is 2 1/2 feet square. Bathroom is so small that one cannot sit on the toilet the knees forward. Rather one has to sit sideways. Only a slim 5'10 person would manage the space gracefully. The towels are threadbare and frayed. The sink and shower do not drain well. The request to repair the sink created more problems. The plumber did not tighten the pipe and water dripped on our toiletries holders and folded towels. 4. Breakfast is just OK. 5. The manager tried her best to deal with the bathroom sink problem. She is limited by the deficits of the building itself. 6. Location is great - too bad the hotel is not.
