The cost was reasonable. The staff was excellent as well as the amenities of the on sight indoor pool, fitness center and bar with DJ. There was no complimentary breakfast but there conveniently is a Dunkin Donuts next door. The hallways and room visibly could use a bit of remodeling such as new carpets fresh paint and new windows. Our room was clean but there was a strong residual order of smoke.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. It got a little chilly so we used the heat and it got the room comfortable pretty quick. Hung out at the pool and the bar.

Wow! Now under independent family ownership. Superb essentials. New firm beds. Newly revamped bathroom. No frills. No coffee pot in room. No Continental Breakfast. Big deal. Dunkin' Donuts is attached. I got there after midnight. The desk clerk said, "I already marked you down for a noon checkout. Fabulous experience.

I just needed a place for me and my famiy to stay the overnight before taking a long drive home. We selected this hotel due to it's low price and location. We loved the nice firm bed and shower. Even thought some items in the room could use some maintaining, it was not a major concern. The large mini fridge was adequate for my items and the microwave oven was a plus. We got there late but the staff (Nia & Fifi) were very friendly and made our stay enjoyable. My son enjoyed the gym and was sorry did not get to do some swimming in the indoor pool. It was a modest stay for the price and we enjoyed it.

Easy fast check in and out by friendly staff. Property is easily accessable off I 80. Plenty of parking. The lobby was neat and clean without any air quality or ciggarette oder Pool was clean and well kept. My room was clean with no oder what so ever. Clean sheets, comfortable bed, and everything worked as needed, including tv, hot water, wifi, and ac unit. Ice bar inside hotel with good food and atmosphere. Lindsey was awesome. The hotel is worth the price and I will return. I only wish there was breakfast options.

The property was easily accessible. The room was clean gor the most part. The property (Interior and Exterior) is outdated. A few minor repairs (the toilet handle and hallway carpeting) are necessary. Nia at the front desk was pleasant. The indoor lighted pool was quaint but cold.

This motel was extremely run down and had the shoddiest work done to it. The bathroom was disgusting, the toilet seat was stained and the sink and bathtub had paint and caulking everywhere. The curtains were gross and the furniture was stained and dirty. We thankfully only stayed for one night, and only used the room for sleeping.

Could have used more and larger towels. No place in shower to place soap or shampoo. Somewhat musty odor in the hall. Noise carried through walls. Shower pressure and stream were excellent. Bed was comfortable.

The smell in the hallway was pungent and offensive. The air blowing out of the A/C in the hallway made us gag and drive heave. Our room had sticky residue on the window sill and goo on the walls and the toilet was not clean. We never took our socks off because the floor was questionable. Had to purchase cleaning products and bleach wipes to sanitize room. Much different experience than what we had the previous year of staying here. The gentleman at the front seat was very nice. We did not dare to use the pool and next year we will book somewhere else. Overall, the smells in this building was the biggest issue. Our room was $99 per night plus fee and tax.

It's a nice and conveniently located hotel. Check-in and check-out is easy. They have a bar as well. Much of the property smelled like cigarette smoke, including the corridor right outside our room. There was also tobacco and marijuana smoking happening in the parking lot right outside the windows. I know they cannot control what the guests do outside, but if the area was nicer, better lit, and had video surveillance, perhaps less of that activity would be happening.

The room was clean. The bed was very comfy. The bartender was very nice. Check in was fast. Quick on and off the highway. Not too far from amenities. The shower pressure was amazing. A very inexpensive no frills room but what they had was above average.

There were dead bugs on the windiw sill, the window frame was broken, there was mold in the bathroom. When we arrived there was a guest in the front only with no shoes on, and was flithy. We checked in, went to the room and decided to leave based on how dirty it was. They refused to give backour money as it was 30 min. Since we checked in, 1p of that was the check in process, then the yojng lady spent 5 min. Trying to convince me to stay. Their policy is 20 min from check in nd they give you a refund, we were 25 min. So they refused.

I didn't eat at the bar as it closed the kitchen too early. Bed was comfortable. I used the wifi which my security software said was not secure but i was comfortable running a VPN. I did not use any transportation services, i arrived with my own. The one thing i have to add.. on my last night there were people above my that walked heavy until the wee hours of the day and they either had a couple small children that playing or a pet. I wasn't able the determine the difference. I was fine once i put my earplugs in.

Staff was friendly and helpful when we had trouble with the heating in our room. Did not regulate well. Hotel and rooms are very outdated. Needs an upgrade. Bed was uncomfortable. Dunkin is right next door. Fine, if you're looking for a cheap place to stay off the highway and don't care about details.

The receptionist was a very nice young woman that helped me with a late check in. Unfortunately, there was a room a couple rooms down from ours with a large dog that barked throughout the two nights we stayed.

When I got there, the room seem fine, but the electricity was off so instead of asking for a refund I asked if I stayed another night because I was at my grandson‘s graduation. Would they give me a discount the next day if I decide to stay and they said yes, of course the next day came in the morning didn’t know anything about it so they have to talk to the other manager about the time I got back to the hotel from the graduation. They packed all my stuff in the bag told me it was $200 to stay for one night when the night before was only 85 and it was at night , real unfair conditions were poor and unsafe for someone wheelchair. I thought they at least accommodate by keeping their word instead of price gouging me more than double I’ve never been to a place more unprofessional and also when they pack my clothes in the bag before me and my grandson got back even after we told him we were staying over. They put a full cup of coffee and with my brand new clothes I just bought now I have to replace them , just not recommending the site to anyone. I’ll Give them those stars if I could none

The first room the door wouldn't close and latch deadbolt anything air conditioning was on high. The receptionist remedied it real quick give me another room and it was perfect, it was comfortable room was clean thank you will stay again

I enjoyed the scenic sites in the area with beautiful mountains and waterfalls. I found a great place for a hike with my dog near the hotel. There are also several bars and restaurants within a short distance from the hotel. I alos appreciated that the hotel offered me an early check in at no additional charge. I will definitely stay at thia hotel again next time I am visting this area v

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The surrounding nature is absolutely beautiful – peaceful, green, and refreshing. Everything we needed was nearby, including parks, trails, and local attractions. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. I truly loved it and would definitely come back again!

This is a clean friendly property with 24 hour front desk. The hotel is extremely kid friendly. It is also with walking distance to the Appalachian Trail and 4 really good restaurants as well as the Dunkin Doughnut. I 64 yo female stayed alone and felt safe. 10/10 would stay here again.

My stay at the Fairmount Inn was good. It was clean, besides the edge around the tub could’ve used bleach and it was comfortable also. Check in and out was quick and easy. The location was ideal, on and off interstate 80.

Liked our room was very quiet , area was nice , but the place needed alot of upgrades , the courtyard had no furniture to sit & relax outside , the Dunkin donuts was convenient , that also could have used some tables & chairs outside , there was a Restaurant but didn’t open til 5 pm , they should be open all day , but when we went at night after 5 pm , they didn’t have my husbands drink he asked for & we tried to order food & there was only 3 small things she could throw in the fryer , the staff was super nice , But MANY , MANY UPGRADES ARE NEEDED , this was our Anniversary trip & all in all we had a pretty good time , Spent a week & a half here , but wouldn’t stay here again , unless they do some upgrades 😩

I was traveling for the weekend and needed a simple and inexpensive place to stay. The room was quite adequate the bed was very comfortable and the over stay was pleasant. Oh, and there was a delicious BBQ restaurant tht was a couple minutes walk away and a Dunkin next door.
