This motel is a work in progress. The room I was in has been renovated and modernized. It was spotless. It was a very large room with a balcony. The outside areas and several units are being worked on. I would stay there again. I would like to see it when they have completed their project.

When we checked in nobody was at desk never mind in the building. Had to call and was tiled they would be back shortly and gave me code which was almost same as room number. Not so safe. No view whatsoever. Just parking lot which was unsafe as well. Especially at night. Very dark

Dont let the exterior fool you. Our room was really really nice! When we first pulled into the parking lot i felt deflated by the exterior. 3 poor qualities were the very old musty smell, the loudness of a slamming door each time someone went out to smoke and finally our room was on the 3rd floor with only a winding staircase that we had to drag everything up. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean and attractive. Coffee bar in room was well stocked and plenty of toiletries.

This is overall a poor property who have done a nice job of renovating the rooms (make sure you get a fully new room). The exterior looks so run down it was a very disappointing arrival. But the digital check in and clean modern room made up for it. As an inexpensive motel it’s fine and functions. But lacks any of the charm of the area. And is certainly not an exciting place to stay.

When you arrive at the Green Harbor it is a tired hotel, however the guests rooms have all been updated and were quite nice & clean but the outside and stairwell areas need updating. It appears they are working on it.

Quiet generally through our stay, but could hear conversations from the floor below. My first thought as we arrived was “Is this going to be safe for me to stay here with my child. I’m not sure. “ The building is very out of date and needs a facelift. As soon as we entered the stairway, we were overcome by the intense smell of air freshener. It burned my nose! We went up to our room, and used the keyless entry code that was emailed to me. The room was cute and had cute amenities like snacks and muffins. The room was clean, but also smelled too strong. Beds were comfy, pillows were not. Curtains did not cover the entire window, I had to pin them together and hang my coat over the gap. Bathroom was the most dated feature. Could have been a little cleaner. No bath mat was given. No facial tissues. Rooms are too close together and walls are too thin. We could hear our neighbors, people on other floors and a dog or two. WiFi is included, cable is not. You can log into your own streaming service. Not the restful night we hoped for before a sports tournament. Would not stay here or recommend.

Made last minute plans to stay in the area for one night and needed a room at the last second. Was able to find the Green Harbor hotel on Expedia and they offered decent rate so I jumped on it. I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The rooms were immaculate and clean and matched exactly what it showed online. The staff were very welcoming at the front and were able to accommodate everything I asked for. Nice tv and good wifi to use in the room. Went out to eat and there was a great restaurant right down the street. Will definitely stay here again in the future when I’m in the area.

Location was very close to where we needed to be. I was happy with this hotel and it’s staff. Our room was clean. Our beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. It looked like the rooms have been recently updated. Checking took less than three minutes. Rooms have code keys, no keys to drop off at the end of her stay. I was happily surprised with this hotel.

We needed to find a hotel in the area for the night. This was the closest and cheapest. No one was at the desk when I arrived. I had to call the "concierge" to receive a code to access the room. The room was basic and somewhat clean (the bathroom still had hairs from previous occupant on floor.) The beds have metal bases that if you kick slightly sound like thunder. The curtains in the room did not shut completely so anyone walking by can see right in room. The room next door was occupied by people who were loud and arguing way after midnight. And doors in the entry slam and echo. Not a restful night sleep. I will not use this hotel again.

The room was pleasant but poorly arranged. Not enough outlets. The heat ran constantly although we turned the thermostat way down, so we ran the AC all night. Bed was very comfortable but pillows were all one size, therefore too big/firm for me. Linens were very nice. No soap in bathroom. No hair dryer. Construction mess on the deck, including piles of cigarette butts. The young people running the place were friendly and clearly trying to do well but appear to be in over their heads.

The room was tiny. Honestly for $300 a night I expected a much bigger room. Towels were 1st class. The rooms were recently remodeled and overall in great condition no real place in the bathroom to put your toiletries kit, except the side of the sink or the top of the toilet tank. Floor was swept but there was some debris that was missed. Again for $300 a night I had higher expectations. Parking was great. Contactless check in was easy. Roku TV microwave & a small fridge. No blackout curtains & the light switch was in the middle of the room not near the doorway.

Not quiet-not enough insulation between rooms. Some of outlets not working. Staff was extraordinarily nice. Renovation is attractive.

The interior of the property has been remodeled nicely and is very clean and comfortable. The room could use a few additional things including a shelf in the shower for toiletries, additional light in the room and a dresser and or shelf system in the room under the TV. The mini fridge / freezer is cute and useful. The bed was very comfortable. They are actively remodeling the rest of the property and hopefully that will include the exterior that is a bit rundown. Overall very impressed with the changes so far.

I took off 2 stars for the following. 1. Room -It only had a mirror in the bathroom -The toilet paper holder was put on the wrong way so that every time you went to tear off a piece, the roll would come flying off -Only 1 towel bar in the bathroom (besides the hand towel one). The bathroom is tiny, but they could at least put some hooks behind the door. -The bathtub was weird. I’ve never been in a tub that wasn’t flat on the bottom. -No hair dryer (or iron). -The pillows were AWFUL. -It says you can request an extra rolling bed, but it’s really a blow up air mattress that deflates quite a bit overnight -Walls are super thin -In room trash cans were tiny, they could probably hold a gallon of milk 2.Staff -The one girl I did see was very nice. However, if you go later at night the little doorbell by the check in/out window is shut off. I tried shouting hello, even called the hotel from the little lobby, but couldn’t get through. Positives: -Easy check in/out -Nice little mini fridge with an actual separate freezer compartment. -Clean. -The one staff member I did see was very nice.

This is a bare bones property. There was a desk chair in the king-size room, but no other chair to sit on . The front desk hours are extremely limited, but they do make arrangements for you to have early or late check-in. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, this is a good stop over.

Did not feel safe from moment we arrived. Our room door code was shared loudly 3 times in front of someone who appeared to be loitering in the office. Doors did not have any locks other than digital code to get in. We left immediately and will not be staying the night. Would not recommend!

Check-in was a challenge. We spoke with 3 different people. The code to the door didn't work. We had to get our own key from the office. Positive: The room was updated although there was no chair to sit in.

I booked a reservation with them because I needed a place to stay because my fiancée has cervical cancer and I thought the hotel was located in Quincy because of how it was displayed online. So after I paid for the room I immediately noticed it was located in marshfield and called the property for help with the reservation letting them know my situation only for them not to be able to help me. I immediately reached out to Expedia only to be told the hotel marked me as a no show even though I explained my situation letting them know that was all the money I had and I needed it back. Just to be told there was nothing they could do so I lost almost 300 dollars in a matter of hours. I went from being homeless to now broke and homeless because they refused to give me a refund for my stay when I explained I had no way to get to marshfield from Boston nor did I know where marshfield was located. So if your going to book here make sure to confirm before hand where the property is located because you don’t want to be like me and pay for a room that you can’t afford to get to or know where it’s located. So you basically giving away free money because they don’t care and won’t help you or give you your money back. No matter how much you need it.

Hotel was close to our event, Uber was readily available with very short wait times, the bed was very comfortable, the shower nice and hot with good pressure and they had Roku with Hulu which is our favorite! I especially loved the little snacks they set out, very thoughtful! Everything was clean and it was very quiet. Slept great.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Located off the main road, traffic noise was at a minimum. Centrally located between beaches and conservation areas of the Trustees and Mass Audubon with lots of resturants in the area to choose from, all within a 10 minute drive.

Great stay at this hotel. The rooms were all renovated and the check in process was super easy. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The towels, pillows and comforters were very comfortable. The renovations came out great and the room was very modern. The location was also good and was a short drive to the beach.

Dont let the exterior fool you. Our room was really really nice! When we first pulled into the parking lot i felt deflated by the exterior. 3 poor qualities were the very old musty smell, the loudness of a slamming door each time someone went out to smoke and finally our room was on the 3rd floor with only a winding staircase that we had to drag everything up. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean and attractive. Coffee bar in room was well stocked and plenty of toiletries.

This hotel was such a welcoming retreat on my business trip. In a beautiful area of Marshfield, lovingly updated, nice details: quilted coverlet, high end free snacks and waters, clean and fresh-smelling, quiet. Manager was super-accommodating. I plan to go back monthly for my overnight work trip.
