Gorgeous dining room. Incredible bar area. First of a dozen Paradors to not have table cloths which was a real negative to the dining experience.. Turn down the track lights.

You’ll have to carry your luggage Checking was extremely long, too much paperwork to sign. Our room was very nice and we had a great balcony view. Breakfast service was very slow. Some of the food and beverages run out (we were the 1000 am rotation). It was a shame the the mirador was closed for repairs and nothing was mentioned on the hotel website. Be advised if you can’t find space inside the castle’s parking lot you’ll have to park outside the castle and it’s difficult to figure out where one can park (the parking diagram at the front desk is confusing) and the cobble stones make it difficult to drag your luggage. Additionally unless you drive into the interior courtyard to drop off your luggage, you’ll have to lug it up some stairs to arrive at the lobby area.

A wonderful stay in this historic castle. The restaurant was understaffed during our stay and the staff was not very welcoming. The food was ok.

The on going renovation work doesn't disturb the guests, but access to see historic parts is not possible. The rooms are simple, modern with good shower and nice balcony, but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The bar is good and the food well prepared. The staff are friendly and professional. Sadly the rooms are nothing like the pictures on hotels.com as the romantic, medieval castle aspects are gone. The rooms are more generic. The location is good for visiting the pretty village.

Amazing hilltop medieval castle overlooking the town. The hotel has many stairs which can be a bit of a challenge with luggage. The parking lot is cobblestone with many loose stones which makes it challenging walking. The rooms were clean and spacious.
