Very disappointed that you had to park a block away from the hotel. WAS not offered parking in the booking. I was with my sister and her friend, I have a disability so my sister drop me at the door and had to walk back at night female. As she passed the car park connected to the hotel there was several car spaces when we were told there was none. Would not recommend this place.

Location of Hotel is great, front desk staff in the evening was a bit grumpy. Car parking is 15 AUD for a night in a close by car park. Room was large, clean and had everything I needed. Could sometimes hear my neighbours, but slept really well (7th floor close to elevator)

This morning I tried to leave the car park at 5,45 no one would answer the intercom to let me out no one would answer the phone I went back to reception there was a mobile number to call no one would answer this either Pretty pathetic I was 20 minutes late for work luckily a guest opened the gate after 20 minutes

The cleanliness of the room and changing of sheets/towels were not up to standard. Dusting & cleaning of room and bathrooms did not occur during our whole stay. Carpet was not vacuumed regularly and was dirty. Overall standard of cleaning was poor.

The carpet in the room is old, should be changed Laundry room needs the lint cleared from the back of the clothes driers . The one clothes drier sucked up the allotted coins but would not start. Management did refund me my money that I lost in the clothes drier. The grooves in the shower doors were full of grime. Location of hotel was great.

I was given a room on the top floor with a great view of the city and down the Derwent River. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the staff were always friendly and very helpful. The Travelodge Hotel Hobart was a great place to stay.

A great central location, easily walkable to Salamanca, Brooke St Pier, and the city centre. Nice views from the room. Bathroom is very small but room itself was spacious and clean. Very comfy bed. Most reception staff were very friendly and helpful..

Bathroom is a bit small with not much wiggle room. There is no ceiling light in the room that I stayed so it was a bit too dark after nightfall. Nevertheless, it is still a nice hotel.

I travel quite a lot, and I have never, ever experience across the board rudeness from staff like at this hotel. Started with communication via email prior to the booking - short, rude, dismissive and not at all helpful. Got worse once we arrived. Not one team member was helpful, welcoming or friendly. Appalling. Based on other reviews, it wasn't just me that has had issues.

Great option if you're looking for a cheap bed! However, the service was terrible, the breakfast was pretty poor and the room was quite run down, not even having a ceiling light, aside from above the door.

Our recent stay at the TravelLodge Hobart was great. The location is exceptional half way between Salamanca and the CBD its a short walking distance to wherever you need to go! The staff were friendly and professional, with check-in a breeze. Overall a great stay!

We liked the firm comfortable mattress. Shower pressure was great. Buffet breakfast was good, the breaker lady is cheery and very helpful. Morrissey shampoo etc. Room size was adequate for a couple of nights. A larger sized person or tall person would find the ensuite hard to manoeuvre around as very small room. There is only free to air TV. When I asked for soy milk at check-in, I was informed to wait till breakfast where I can get it myself. Depends which staff member you get as to the response you get. Pillows were too soft for us.

We had a lovely stay at Travelodge Hobart. The staff were very helpful and courteous, the family room was spacious and comfortable, and we had a wonderful view over the city looking out to the Derwent River. We also had breakfast in the hotel which was really excellent, the food was fresh and not overcooked, scrambled eggs were creamy and velvety, the bacon was perfectly cooked and there was a great variety of breakfast staples.

A nice roomy foyer for waiting, late checkout and luggage store was appreciated, laundry room good...but, not helpful with recommending places nearby to eat, places of interest, etc. Not even a brochure stand to look thru as in the Travel Lodge of times passed..just the same old DIY which is creeping into our lives. Continental brkfst and buffet breakfast overpriced. No lunch or Dinner on offer..Poor marketing..

Good hotel right in downtown but very small room (we only paid for the smallest available) bathroom was a bit weird with the mirror far too low for an average height person. Hot breakfast had limited choices but it was ok.
