This was supposed to be a special trip for my wife’s birthday with our 3 kids, but it was absolutely abysmal. Zero Communication: The hotel advertises WhatsApp service for questions, but don’t bother: I messaged multiple times before arrival and got nothing but an auto-reply until the actual day we showed up. What is the point of offering this service if you never respond? Family Suite Disappointment: The so-called “family suite” was run-down, with stained towels and dirty walls. I had asked if the room included a bath but received no answer before arrival. We were offered a portable one on check in and despite reminders to reception, no bath ever arrived. Female Staff member at checkout didn’t even apologise—instead, she tried to blame us for not making enough reminders. Total lack of accountability or basics of customer service. Definitely Not Family-Friendly: While trying to get our children to sleep, we had to deal with groups of soldiers placed right underneath our room—singing karaoke late into the night and walking around topless, playing music with the door open from 6:30am. Zero planning, zero consideration for families. Reception excused it but offered nothing to help. Negligent Theme Park Staff: Even the kibbutz theme park was badly run—the staff didn’t care, broke smoking rules, and couldn’t be bothered to clean the play areas full of crisps and wrappings. Disorganised, dirty, inattentive, and completely lacking in any respect for families or guest comfort.
