Really dated bedrooms, the mattress was horrendous, the food menu doesn't match what you are brought and the prices aren't in line with the quality of the food. The downstairs reception area has obviously had a recent refurb don't let this fool you it's smoke and mirrors.

This was a good value hotel with a good bar and breakfast. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfy.Staff very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking. We didnt eat here as chef was off but plenty of dining options in locality . This was my second visit. The only downside was the noise from the traffic . Will stay here again as its handy to visit

One night stop with my adult son in a twin room. It was perfect for us. Loads of parking, which is important, staff very helpful and enough of them on duty, which is rare these days.

The room, facilities and breakfast are all perfectly fine for the price. Would strongly recommend checking if they're holding an event on the night you're staying though as the DJ can play loud music until past midnight

Have stayed in the Park Hotel before. The staff are the best part, Always friendly and happy. nothing is too much trouble for them Hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. Will definitely be staying there again.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The light in the room was not working, and the shower was leaking badly, with water spilling onto the floor and even going down through the ceiling to the ground floor. The room itself was extremely small and congested, definitely not worth the £80 I paid. On top of that, the cleanliness was far below expectations. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff. Nice food in the bar. Breakfast was varied and good. Coffee could do with improving though! Room was small but fine for me and my son. Big iron burn on the carpet though! And the bathroom could do with a clean. Our room wasn't serviced after our first day so had no tea/milks etc for our second morning but that's ok

A cheap and convenient place to sleep. Clean but could be cleaner in my opinion and does what it says on the tin. Will be using this hotel for LFC games when I'm travelling from Glasgow. There were some noisy women coming to their rooms at 3am, which we weren't happy about but of course that is not the hotel's fault

Very clean but dated hotel badly in need of facelift. No air conditioning is a real problem because the outside noise from the boiler house and surrounding mean if you open a window you’re going to find it hard to get a decent nights sleep. Beds very small and mattresses very poor quality.

It wasn’t too bad. The room was a little outdated. There was no outlets by the bed. The bed was older and not super comfortable. There was no air conditioning and no mini fridge. The bathroom was clean. Other than that it was a good stay.

The reception/bar area is modern and bright, the rooms are much darker and in need of updating. Saying that it was adequate for our needs. The issue we had was it was so hot in the bedroom (no aircon which I was aware of) and don’t sure why when we there there on a mild Sept day. We couldn’t open the window more than 10cms which gave us very little relief. The road noise outside was loud, it’s a busy road, regardless if the window was open or not. We had to leave it open all night as it was too hot otherwise. Barely got any sleep unfortunately, which was made worse by the group of guys coming in at 3am who proceeded to shout and chat in corridor and bang doors for an hour of so. It’s a decent enough hotel but wouldn’t stay again due to heat/noise issues.

Ok...ish. Clean room but no mattress protector and an ill fitting flat sheet on the double bed, which was odd and immediately made it feel unhygienic. Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Thankfully was only staying for one night - horrendous view of a derelict plot behind the Aldi. At £122 a night for room for 3 felt expensive for what it was.

We used this hotel to stay while moving study abroad student into Edge Hill. Was convenient to walk to train-breakfast was good. Loved the servers!!!! Avoid Saturday nights if a wedding is going on- unless attending-very loud Room small with poor lighting and would have liked a change of towels 1/2 way through our stay.

Room was very large so very pleased. Shower was ok, did the job but only had a body wash. The room had 2 small armchairs, coffee table, dressing table, small dresser unit and a big comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.

At check in forced to pay a £50 refundable deposit “refunded when you check out “ they said. I’m now 24 hours later still waiting and they told me when I rang yesterday afternoon that it can take 3-5 days. THIS WAS NOT EXPLAINED WHEN THEY TOOK MY MONEY ! I now have insufficient funds for tonight’s hotel

A lovely hotel! Great location to Aintree race course and only a ten minute drive to the City centre! My only negative was the breakfast service. Its cooked fresh to order which was lovely however we asked on two occasions for toast and it never materialised. In the end we just walked out. The sraff were polite enough but lacked enthusiasm in customer service/ courtesy. I almost felt guilty for asking for ketchup! I would definitely suggest a self service toaster and perhaps a sauce bottle or sachets on each table.

More heating in the rooms, I was absolutely freezing. Complained to reception and they did nothing about it and said ‘you have a heater in your room’ which I knew but it wasn’t working. Friendlier staff at breakfast

Started badly, paid for room then told we had to pay another £50 damage deposit, that, we would get back in 7 - 10 days. Evening do was great. Then the morning, unable to have bath / shower at 8.15 because water was tepid. We went down for breakfast and:- Arrived at dining room and there was no capacity. Met by restaurant manager who said " we're full" I explained that we wanted breakfast, told that we should have come down sooner and to wait in lobby and come back in 15 minutes, waited for 10 minutes and got a seat. We were then ignored for 15 minutes until a really nice witress turned up and took our order So we are still sat in the restaurant waiting for our breakfasts, 40 minutes after ordering it. We had to ask for everything, from the table to be cleared, cutlery, toast etc. Food was coming out of the kitchen, being walked around and then taken back to the kitchen. The restaurant manager wandered around with a toast rack. Watching the process here, she has one job, to manage the restaurant, not being done. Absolute farce

Met by restaurant manager who said " we're full" I explained that we wanted breakfast, told that we should have come down sooner and to wait in lobby and come back in 15 minutes, waited for 10 minutes and got a seat. We were then ignored for 15 minutes until a really nice witress turned up and took our order So we are still sat in the restaurant waiting for our breakfasts, 40 minutes after ordering it. We had to ask for everything, from the table to be cleared, cutlery, toast etc. Food was coming out of the kitchen, being walked around and then taken back to the kitchen. The restaurant manager wandered around with a toast rack. Watching the process here, she has one job, to manage the restaurant, not being done. Absolute farce

This was a good value hotel with a good bar and breakfast. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfy.Staff very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking. We didnt eat here as chef was off but plenty of dining options in locality . This was my second visit. The only downside was the noise from the traffic . Will stay here again as its handy to visit

Excellent value for money. Reasonable sized room with several power points and usb. Considering proximity to main road, nice and quiet. Good sized car park. A lovely hotel! Great location to Aintree race course and only a ten minute drive to the City centre! My only negative was the breakfast service. Its cooked fresh to order which was lovely however we asked on two occasions for toast and it never materialised. In the end we just walked out. The sraff were polite enough but lacked enthusiasm in customer service/ courtesy. I almost felt guilty for asking for ketchup! I would definitely suggest a self service toaster and perhaps a sauce bottle or sachets on each table.

The reception/bar area is modern and bright, the rooms are much darker and in need of updating. Saying that it was adequate for our needs. The issue we had was it was so hot in the bedroom (no aircon which I was aware of) and don’t sure why when we there there on a mild Sept day. We couldn’t open the window more than 10cms which gave us very little relief. The road noise outside was loud, it’s a busy road, regardless if the window was open or not. We had to leave it open all night as it was too hot otherwise. Barely got any sleep unfortunately, which was made worse by the group of guys coming in at 3am who proceeded to shout and chat in corridor and bang doors for an hour of so. It’s a decent enough hotel but wouldn’t stay again due to heat/noise issues.

We used this hotel to stay while moving study abroad student into Edge Hill. Was convenient to walk to train-breakfast was good. Loved the servers!!!! Avoid Saturday nights if a wedding is going on- unless attending-very loud Room small with poor lighting and would have liked a change of towels 1/2 way through our stay.

Nice hotel. Breakfast was very good. Had a bar meal which was very good and a good size. Room a touch small, but did the job. Bathroom a little bit lived in. Reception staff excellent and very informative. Overall a good stay and in a good position for our visits around the area.

Friendly staff. Nice food in the bar. Breakfast was varied and good. Coffee could do with improving though! Room was small but fine for me and my son. Big iron burn on the carpet though! And the bathroom could do with a clean. Our room wasn't serviced after our first day so had no tea/milks etc for our second morning but that's ok

Started badly, paid for room then told we had to pay another £50 damage deposit, that, we would get back in 7 - 10 days. Evening do was great. Then the morning, unable to have bath / shower at 8.15 because water was tepid. We went down for breakfast and:- Arrived at dining room and there was no capacity. Mattresses were exceedingly firm but supportive, breakfast was basic but filling and hot, bar unfortunately closed at 10:30, parking good. Check in easy but not sure about the practice of requiring a £50 deposit on top of prepaid stay with the promise it will be refunded within 10 days. Overall good value for money.

Great location, close to train station so quick and easy to pop into city centre. We were going to gig at Anfield Stadium, so checked in, hoped on the train spent, sometime in city centre, Then uber to the stadium £15-20. Staff very nice. Hotel clean, plenty WiFi coverage.

The room was dated the tv didn't work very well and the tea coffee etc wasn't replenished. The room wasn't cleaned or the bed made nothing. The room lighting was dreadful very dark and dingy. The staff were great though.
