Excellent location within walking distance to public transportation, shops, restaurants. The hotel doesn’t have a gym nor a pool.

No parking around the property as advertised all permit parking, building had a damp smell and we were put in a basement room without a window. Not worth the price we paid which was expensive

nothing special... the furniture and the general design needs a refurbishment... as a business hotel is ok, for a romantic weekend absolutely not. the room is clean. little note: at breakfast you can find watermelon in February in London, but a simple cappuccino in not included and you have to pay 4 pounds extra. second note: the elevator was out of order at least for the 3 consecutive days of my trip. they could advise during the reservations. it's not nice to do 4 floors with luggages.

Only hotel I have stayed in where they can not take your luggage prior to check in. First room was unacceptable second room offered was okay

This property has no business claiming four stars. There is no restaurant (if pressed, they will claim the restaurant next door, but it’s unaffiliated), tiny lobby, no bar, bad beds.

The property was completely covered in scaffolding. Lobby was very tiny and due to all the construction dirty. Expedia didnt properly show the extent of the construction. We had contractors walk by outside our window (4th floor) all day long starting at 8am INCLUDING SATURDAY. it was very uncomfortable. maybe a good property once renovated but until thats done I would not stay there, the construction is extensive!

Out seventh and last stay here. No smile or welcome on arrival. Property now tired with a stained carpet in the bedroom and poorly cleaned bathroom. Incredibly, for a supposed 4 star hotel, they will not store your case, for the day after checkout, yet this is still advertised as a service on various booking websites. Had to pay £13 to leave it in a corner shop down the road. Not enough room, apparently - even though, on all previous visits this had not been an issue. The manager hid behind head office edict, which was poor. On returning to the hotel, late of an evening, the front desk was unmanned and we entered unchallenged - we could have been criminals, for all they cared. The concierge, always so polite in the past, appears to have been axed. Laughably, the manager remained insistent that they value their customers. Pull the other one. This hotel has deteriorated rapidly. One to avoid.

This hotel will not hold your luggage. If you fly overnight and arrive in the morning, they will have you towing your bags around London until their 3pm checkin. This is a poor hotel policy and one of the reasons I won’t go back. Lots to choose from in London. Find someplace more accommodating to their guests.

Great location, great staff. A little dated but excellent wifi, clean rooms. Elevator needs fixing but overall good value..3 minute walk from tubecstation.

Property was rated a 4 start? More like a 2 star. Very small room and the mattress was old and the springs were noticeable when you slept on it. Should have checked the mattress before I slept on it. VERY GROSS and DISGUSTING. SOILED MATTRESS Hotel was under renovations with the scafling infront of the hotel. Would not have stayed there knowing that. The hallway to your room stunk of lord knows what? Not a pleasant smell. Location was good but everything else BAD!!!

Walking in, nice. Location is fab so close to Earls Court underground. The corridors are so cramped. The carpets are filthy. Our room was ground level yet to get to our room we had to walk up stairs to walk back down? The headboard was squeeky, the tv remote didnt work and the room service menu was a barcode you had to scan, which also didnt work. Our view was bricks. We had a slight balcony with a table yet no door or anyway to access it. The table was covered in bird droppings and it just was not nice. The pillows had covers on them but no pillow protectors. Our pillows had dried blood on them and was stained with sweat. Check out is at 11 but you can stay until 12 for free. We were getting ready to leave and at 11:07 we had a phonecall from reception telling us that check out was at 11 so we should be out (???) For the price we pay per night, and it being a 4 star, this is WAY below my expections. You would get working appliances, cleaner carpets and bedsheets and more space in a premier inn. The good reviews are bogus. Dont do it.

I’ve stayed London hotel cheap and high end. This hotel has good mixture of old good time London hotel equipments with boutique twist. I admit the room is not roomy but I felt very cosy. Bathroom is quite roomy compared with other hotels and very rare bathtub (only shower cubicle most of the hotels now a days). Equipments were surprisingly good, wardrobe, iron, ironing board, fridge (empty), kettle, tea and coffee, biscuits and microwave! I’ve never seen microwave in the room before in London hotel. TV, USB point, UK/US/EU plug point so you don’t need extra plug would be very handy. Our room was very clean, bathroom floor was spotless. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, shower cap in the bathroom. We arrived bit earlier than check-in time (we expected asking hotel to store our luggage) but the receptionist allocated us our room straight away. The receptionists whom we talked were everybody very friendly and caring. Breakfast was better than I expected. Overall we were very happy our stay. I wonder depends on which floor you are allocated the room conditions were different? At least first floor’s our room was great, very quiet. We’ve got great deal via Expedia. This hotel was great find. I would like to use again.

Staff rude and very unhelpful. No manager available to challenge our accommodation quality, fobbed off by reception saying there was no manager available until Monday morning by which time we had left. Hotel dirty in places, room had threadbare carpet, mouldy areas, broken plug hole, mirror held in place with tape, missing switches. This was far from luxury as advertised! Refund required

Dated carpets, sink was not draining. Reception was good and accommodating. Property is old and very dated, balconies are full of bird poop and carpets are ripped. Definitely not a 4 star, more like a 2 star hotel. Location is okay and near the Underground.

Updated room, very clean and excellent daily service. Very close to bus and the tube as well as grocery stores and many eateries. Also a laundromat a two minute walk down the street, very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

This street and hotel is undergoing construction so it was quite noisy. We booked one night and I did eventually sleep fine although the walls were thin and I could hear people above and below me with their toilet flushes and showers. My WiFi did not function at all and there was no television service despite being advertised that both would be available. We did ask the front desk and were told that their antennas were not working so we would not have reception. The next morning upon checking out, the reception desk acted surprised at this. I also told reception that my bedside lamp bulb needed replacing as it did not work (I wanted to read since there was no TV). We also had an huge window in the bathroom (small one in the bedroom) that was a struggle to lock and I HAD to lock it because of all the scaffolding outside the window. Plus, taking a shower in front of that big (albeit tempered) glass made me feel like I was in a fishbowl. All sheets and towels were clean and the staff was pleasant. The hotel carpeting really needs to be removed (I don’t know why hotels insist on carpeting. It’s easily stained and for allergies, it’s not ideal) and the big stain on the reception couch should have been my warning. No offer of compensation was given but I will email the hotel directly about it as the reception may not have been permitted to do that. At this moment, I would not recommend staying here despite it’s super location to the Earls Court tube station.

I was severely disappointed with this “4” star hotel. Appears to be more of a 2/3 star hotel. I was placed in a room which didn’t appear to be deluxe size or clean. They clearly did a slap dash job with “cleaning”. Additionally, the location of the room was sketchy and convoluted to get to from the reception area. There were stains on the carpet, chipped walls, tissues looked like they had been there a while/someone just stuffed a bunch in there. I didn’t feel comfortable and was grateful that I remembered to pack disinfectant spray and wipes to do my own self cleaning. It looked like they just did the bed and didn’t clean it properly. I don’t know if it was because they saw I booked it via hotels.com or what but I would stay away from booking here.

I cant deny that the room left us disappointed. There were 3 levels of room available... a standard double, a superior double, and a deluxe double. To pay significantly more for a deluxe double room, which clearly stated it came with a double bed, yet be met with a room housing 2 single beds pushed together, made me wonder how much worse the superior or standard rooms were. There's nothing more romantic than playing rock paper scissors to decide who's going to spend the night wedged in the gap between the mattresses so that we can lay next to each other. For an otherwise well decorated, well presented hotel, it was a poor show for a suposedly 4* establishment.

Decent hotel in good location for Earls Court and surroundings but basement room was very noisy. Not sure if this was from the air-con but at random times throughout the night there was noise of running water (possibly a shower above). Sound insultation between rooms poor

They had some flooding and therefore had issues with rooms and making sure they had enough that were ready at check-in. We checked in twice and had to move us rooms once. The restaurant attached is FANTASTIC. The staff was not overly friendly so don’t expect bubbly service. The location was great minus the MAJOR construction on the street. But either way, it was a great spot for a couple days; wouldn’t have stayed here if it was longer than that. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. There was plenty of times I thought someone was in our room. 7/10 since the location was perfectly near the subway.

Bath tub was inconvenient. Wi-Fi did not work.

Very convenient location near Earls Court underground. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The air conditioning worked well. However, the room and the en suite were very cramped and the decor in the hotel generally was old and a bit shabby. The restaurant was being refurbished and unavailable.

The stay was was ok, i think the room was small, i did not book the smallest room. The bed was not in best condition it had a big dip in the middle of the mattress also for what you pay some complementary water would be nice in the fridge, ive stayed at budget hotels with coffee machines and drinks topped up every day. This was very basic. All in all it was ok. But i think you can find a cheaper option for about the same service. We paid for the breakfast which in turn was a 4/10 the breakfast was cooked but not very good quality.

For the price of £350 for 1 night. I expected to not be in the basement of the hotel. Had to go through a maze of corridors and multiple elevators to get to our room. Reception did not show friendliness at all and we felt they did not even like their jobs, they did minimal to make us feel welcome and were very laid back and slow in checking us in

The location to the tube is very close, making it easy to get around town, and to Heathrow, which made life so much easier for us. Excellent customer service. The check-in was fantastic, we were greeted with enthusiasm and kindness in getting us 2-twin beds as opposed to a Dbl. As a room became available, the gentleman was kind enough to ensure that we could get in before noon, which we appreciate so much after being up very early to arrive into London.

Very easy to access everything, staff is amazing and very friendly.

Room and place is decent. Receptionist on Jan 17 night is very rude. Other than that one receptionist rest of the service team is very nice.

Great stay, large rooms comfortable beds, staff very helpful and friendly. 5 minutes walk from Earl's court station. Great location. Woulx highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, very close to the Tube, not far from all great sights, but a quiet street and nice area that was never crowded. Great breakfast and restaurants in the area as well. Would definitely go back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Park Grand Kensington. The room we had was larger than we’ve had in London on previous trips, so was much appreciated for our 7 night stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast in the restaurant several times over the week, and while the food was good, there wasn’t much variety each day, but that was ok, we did not starve. We also had dinner there a couple of nights, and that was fantastic! Again, the waitstaff was excellent! Very helpful and accommodating. We would most definitely stay there again!

Lumpy mattresses,had to be 6ft tall to see the demist area on the bathroom mirror, no information folder in the room. TV channels not explained and the choice was very limited.Restaurant not able to charge meals to room. Building undergoing external restoration and noisy for part of day. Convenient location.

Great place to stay for visit to Royal Albert Hall. Staff friendly and helpful. Twin Room fairly small but had everything we needed and even an iron which is great. Beds comfortable. Small but spotlessly clean bathroom. good choice at breakfast and good coffee! Short distance from Earl’s Court tube station
