The stove and full size fridge is amazing

The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. It could have been better if they would have had more luggage carts. With a 5-story hotel, only one cart is not sufficient. I did like the extra lock system they have, but the front doors are not automatic, which makes it difficult to bring your luggage in and out.

This hotel had been open three weeks when we stayed there. While it was in a convenient location, I will not return. The lobby was tiny, had three total sets of doors to enter, none automatic, and two of which required a key card to pass through, with one scanner thar was 10 feet from the door, so it was difficult to scan, then open the door if you had anything in your hands, before it locked again. The furnishings throughout looked like IKEA stuff. All veneer, cheap-looking furniture, vinyl plank floor, with no rugs or carpet. The kitchenette was brand new, but no utensils, bowls, glasses, paper towels, nothing except two ice trays that we had to fill to get ice. No ice machine or vending we could find in the entire hotel. Also no hand towels, tissues, or simple amenities like filtered water or bottled water. The bed was comfortable and bedding brand new. The window had horizontal blinds, but no curtain, so the sunlight came right through in the morning. Many of these things can be fixed and may be over time, however, the amount of noise heard in our room will likely not be. We heard thunderous footsteps above us, and the television and people talking from every wall around us. Overall, very clean, but lacking eveywhere else. There was only one staff member I spoke with during our stay. She was pleasant, but could not make up for the the things missing here. I would say they built this hotel as cheaply as possible, with no amentities.

It was very clean and beds were comfortable. The lady working the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Free parking. Very easy 15 minute walk to the Orion amphitheater.

I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very big. There was a large wardrobe, stovetop, microwave, and fridge. It was very clean. I also felt very safe as you had to use the keycard to gain entrance to the rooms beyond the front desk.

Its a good hotel for longterm stay. It offers easy access to restaurants and other businesses for essential items. I would recommend. Negative: No iron or ironing board in the room. Towels not plentiful. However, i borrowed iron from front desk and I purchased my own towels. Hotel very good for price.

Stayed here for a soccer tournament. Very thankful to have a laundry room on site. Our room had a full size fridge with was great for storing water and snacks!

Very clean new property. Great customer service from the staff. My only complaint is that the rooms did not come with irons and I wasn’t able to get one due to the ones available being lent out to others.

For this property to be as new as it is, it failed my expectations. It was my first time in Alabama and I just really needed something nicely priced when I arrived to the hotel I was advised that my room was not ready and I needed to wait about an hour, on top of not being able to use the restroom because it was out of service. The lady allowed me to drive off only to find out there were no other public restrooms to use nearby because it was Thanksgiving day when I get back to the hotel about 15 minutes later, my husband was given the key and access to the room already.I would say this hotel would be for the young crowd because it’s really not adult friendly. They charge you $19 for pots and pans to use on their small stove in the room.

very basic property, no breakfast, and no ice machine. There was a kitchen in the room, and a full-size fridge/freezer. I guess that was why there was no ice machine.

The room was not clean dirty floor a random pill on the floor . Blood stains on the shower curtain. The microwave was nasty .

Hallway was dirty. Looked like someone had swept the floor and forgot to vacuum up the mess. Rooms were clean

I loved the property. I’m a clean freak, so for me the property was very clean and it smelled amazing. The hotel was quiet and the surrounding area was convenient to food, gas, and the park. The only complaint I have is the bed was squeaky. But other than that, it was a great stay.

It was overall pretty good. There were some weird smells, and the elevator was one of the worst. It smelled like a mix of cigarettes, weed, and cleaner. The service was friendly, and the room was decent.

Customer service was good. The beds were uncomfortable, and they squeak. The hard wood floors don’t absorb sound, so of course you can hear the hard walking and the squeaky bed from upstairs. No room darkeners, only blinds. No hot water during showers. It’s tepid, at best. You have to badge in to get to the elevator, which is weird. Why not just badge to get into the lobby, which is also there ? Close to Sam’s club and JNN, CFA, mid city, CFA. I used to live here, so I was shocked to see a hotel on this “island.” They make you sign a no refund waiver. At $179/night, I’m sure they jacked the price up for AAMU Hoco like everyone else. I wouldn’t stay again, but if you needed something long term, and don’t mind a firm, squeaky bed with awesome pillows, book here. Complete kitchenette, and an area to hang your clean clothes, and a basket to launder your dirty ones. I was told they’ve just been open a week.

There was no staff at the front desk at check in. Multiple guests lined up waiting, we had to call for someone to come down. The beds are terrible. Not even knee high, poor mattress, and the whole bed creaks and make noise when you turn over or try to get out. The room is set up to be ADA accessible but I am pretty sure someone with mobility issues would not be able to get in and out of the bed without assistance.

Tia greeted us with joy and made a great first impression. The lobby was very clean and inviting. We checked in very quickly and went straight to our room. We ended up needing a third sleeping area (couch) and Tia helped us change rooms without any hesitation. The rooms were clean, stocked, and cool. Everytime we went by the lobby, Tia talked with us. We traveled from Gulf Shores and Kentucky to attend the Teddy Swims concert. We were going to walk and Tia helped me download an Uber App. This was my first Uber ride ever. She took pictures for us and was genuine when she told us she hoped we had a great time. We even hurried back so we could share our experience with her but she had already ended her shift. The location was great-for sure in walking distance of the Ampi-theater. The value was on point and we would all easily choose to stay at this location again.

On Thursday night 4/17/2025 going into early Friday morning 4/18/2025 around 12:00am. I went to the front desk to ask for some towels and when I got there, I said hello and a staff member came out form the back office. I asked her "If I could get fresh towels" and she responded back "What you mean you ain't got no towels" and in turn I told her "I wanted fresh towels" and she then told me with her continued attitude "That if I wanted new towels, I would have to bring my old towels back to the front desk." I had no issue in doing so, even though in all my years of staying at hotels, when asking for towels or anything else the staff would just provide you with towels or items requested. What got me upset, is the way she went about the whole situation saying, "What you mean you ain't got no towels" even if that was the case and I didn't have any towels why you would be so rude, asking in the manner in which she did. There is a myriad of ways she could have asked that question in a more professional manner. She acted as if, I was bothering her or taking her away from something more important than helping a customer. When I came back to the front, with my old towels I heard her on the phone laughing and asking the individual on the other end "what you do last night oh for real" and continued laughing. Then I said hello again and she came back to the front, and I handed her my old towels and took the new ones. I will never stay at this hotel again she was very unprofessional.

Had to attend a funeral in Huntsville, so we were looking for an inexpensive but safe place to stay. For the most part, this hotel met our requirements. However, I waited a good 10-15 minutes before anyone showed up to check us in. One of the patrons was in the “lobby”, cursing and carrying on very inappropriately. Finally, a young lady comes in from the back door of the facility holding her phone. Obviously, not a good first impression. The room was clean and adequately furnished for the price we paid. This is an extended-stay hotel, so folks were cooking in their rooms smelling up the hallways. Never stayed at a Woodspring before and I won’t be back.

Property was new and in an excellent location with convenient access to dining and locations. I received a notification that I could check in early. Not sure if it was because the property was new, but I did appreciate the notification. Definitely would stay again.

We were here for work and the location was perfect forour trip. Notnto far from downtown and for a great rate.

The property is relatively newclean and conviently located in Mid-City. I would stay there again. My only critcism is no over in the suite just a cook top. Loud, obnoxious neighbors disturbed my sleep on the one night before my early flight out. Bad luck thats not on the property managers.

Vending machine was out of drinks and my virtual credit card was charged multiple times for beverages. Prices were different on the vending machine. I was told to walk across the street to their sister company hotel where the prices of food were much more for the same items. My card was denied there too. They cut off the wifi several times thus making it impossible to use my google tap to pay on my phone. I was locked out of my room several times. The hotel stunk of cleaning products. And the front desk staff told me to tell corporate but the place is owned by several companies. Please help me out with this issue.

Staying at this hotel reminded me of what it must be like to have a no-frills hotel. You get the bare minimum. No breakfast, no iron, no pots, no pans - nothing. Its a room with a bed - perks towels were provided.

Variety of hot beverages , eg , tea , chocolate, etc. should be made available in the reception area. Instead of just coffee.
